This shoe is awesome. Very comfortable although not as durable as my busy work schedule requires. The price is right though and hte shoe comes highly recommended.

These are tight, both figuratively and literally. Slightly narrow in the midfoot and pretty nice for a sneaker. Trade out the laces for something black and these do really well as a step above sneakers.

I love these shoes. I wasn't sure about the sizing of this brand so I purchased the 8.5 and 9. I usually fit between an 8 or 9 but the 8.5s were perfect. These shoes are really comfortable and I they do not wimp out after working in them on my feet for 8 hours at a time. The finish on the shoe looks a little more plasticy in person but it is durable and has a good matte finish. I will keep buying these till they stop making them.

These shoes are awesome. They have a weird feeling of being a dress shoe and a tennis shoe. Basically they are the perfect shoes for going out. And they are vegan, of course.

This shoe has great looks and has held up well so far. The toe is longer than my three other pairs of Macbeths, so that takes some getting used to. It definitely has more arch support than other Macbeths, and I can't tell if that is a good thing or a bad thing yet. They look like they don't breathe well, and they don't, but they are so comfortable regardless. The sole is made of Stylistically, they're like a TOMS Cordone that wasn't designed by hippies. They're great for covering campus or working in the office.

Comfortable right out of the box. Had lots of compliments on them too. I will buy another pair.

Love this shoe! Classy and fun - I wear it with semi-formals and casuals. Very comfortable and true to size. A quick note: My first pair of these shoes had an issue. The right side shoe's inner sole was bad...seemed to project upwards hurting my arch. Got it replaced and the new pair is fine.

I'm a huge fan of these shoes. I've now bought two pairs of the same shoe. The great: These shoes feel like casual shoes (i.e. very good) and you can be active (walking, running for short distances, jumping, climbing) in them and they feel great. At the same time, if you get the right style, they look smart and can easily work for tons of situations where you don't need full on dress shoes but where running shoes/sneakers wouldn't be great (e.g. every day at the office, out at bars or clubs, etc). The not so great: I'm not sure if this is the fault of the shoes or how I use them, but I've had issues with the soles starting to split off from the upper - a little in the front, and a bit in the back. A bit of glue helped keep them together but it was annoying (and didn't look great afterwards).

After becoming vegan, I bought these shoes to replace the leather shoes that I had been wearing to work. Unfortunately, I noticed the toe section started to cause me discomfort anytime it flexed which led me to believe it was half a size too small (I normally wear an 8 or an 8½ - I bought the half size this time). Since I had been wearing them for a while, I figured that a return was out of the equation and wound up donating them. I just wanted to leave this review to help anyone confused about sizing.

The shoes look great. They're girlfriend's favorite shoes that I wear. The only issue is that the black outer-sole is separating from the soft white mid-sole and will require re-gluing. Whether this is an issue with their construction or is an inherent issue with that type of exposed mid-sole/outer-sole, I don't know. Still love the shoes, though.

Great for the price. Recommend going a 1/2 size to full size up from what you think you wear though. Thank goodness for Zappos' speedy exchange program!

These are fine overall shoes, but nothing special. They look nicer in the picture than in real life - the black material is more shiny and plastic-looking (less matte than in the picture). They are very comfortable, but I like the cloth version better.

The bottom of the shoe is for a narrower foot. Can feel a bit awkward if you don't have such a foot. Still a decent shoe.

Overall not a bad shoe. The shoe is a bit stiff. I am hoping it will break in after a while but its still quite stiff after 2 weeks of off and on wear. I use these for business casual.

The pair I got had a dent in the toe of the right shoe which made it a little uncomfortable at first but it seems to have worked itself out. All in all, a great shoe.

I have always been hesitant when it comes to buying clothing or shoes online because whatever article of clothing I am buying may not fit me. My feet are very wide (4E) so I always like to try on shoes before buying them but I went ahead and took a chance. When I got the shoes it took them a few days for them to stretch to my foot size but they do fit nonetheless and I still continue to wear them weeks later will continue to wear them. If you are willing to wait a few days for the shoe to fit your wide foot, then they are well worth it.

So far so good. These shoes are stylish, comfortable, and appear durable. The true test, as with all shoes (especially vegan ones) is how long they last -- have to get back to you on that one!

Very nice shoe, lightweight and flexible. Take a wet paper towel or wet rag to them every few days to keep them shiny.

I bought these shoes last summer, and they look awesome. I don't usually like the white soles on the bottom of some shoes (talking about you Vans), but these have a nice black rubber guard around the front so I dig em. I've also owned several pairs of Macbeths there has always been and issue with the fabric rubbing my heel raw, but not with these! They are comfy. My only complaint is they feel a half size big. It's too late for me to return them now, but for anyone considering these keep that in mind!

After a couple of wears, they loosen up. I feel I should have gone a half a size down but at the time of trying them on, they fit perfect.

Hard to completely tell the style from the photo because it's a black shoe. Thought the layout of the shoe was a little strange. I have relatively wide feet that I don't usually have a problem with, but felt like my feet were busting out of these things.

These shoes are very stylish, but I can never wear them for more than a day. They are incredibly uncomfortable. They have the support of an athletic sock, with none of the padding. They're incredibly narrow. The laces that come with them remind me of the cilice worn by the monk in "The DaVinci Code". They are like ropes cutting into the tops of my feet with each step. But they do look nice. I found them looking for a decent Vegan shoe. I will keep looking.

These shoes looked great and felt great, but they also fell apart within half a year, which was all the more disappointing because I really liked them.

Good traction and good looks. But the overall quality and longevity was not what I was expecting. They look great and are awesome to walk around in. But this is where the issues started. I purchased the Black and Cement for a casual office shoe. As I started to walk around in them I noticed the bottom of the outsole (black) and the white part of the outsole started to separate from each other. I also noticed throughout the day that my laces would slip loose out of the knot and I would have to retie them. Finally the tongue would never stay in position it would always slip to the outside leaving a gap(I own 2 pairs or Macbeth's and both do this and it rubs against the veins in my foot). It has a great styling in a casual shoe but it fell short on quality.

I bought these shoes because they look awesome, but my excitement was short lived when they came in. The first thing that I noticed is that they look like the leather version of these shoes instead of the ones in the picture, which looks like they have a different texture. I did not mind it at first because I needed them for work. When I put them on the top part, where the tongue felt really uncomfortable, even when relacing. Also the left shoe felt tighter then the right. I gave them almost two weeks to write this review because I wanted to give these shoes a chance and wear them constantly to try and break them in. I really wanted to like these shoes but they are not what the other reviews say they are. I hope to eventually get over this and continue to buy more products from Macbeth.
