I love this shoe, the sole is perfectly contoured for speed walking, much like a cross country racing flat. There is a ramp of sorts bridging the heel to the outsole which eliminates the usual jolting in the knees or uneven stride you get from walking briskly in a standard dress shoe. The heel is very low to begin with, and the very back of the heel is perfectly rockered which gives the wearer confidence in making long strides. The uppers give the shoe an overall presentability for everyday office wear, though I would not try getting away with them at a formal country club gathering where clothes, cars and shoes might be under a higher level of scrutiny. I am used to more substantial dress shoes with traditional stiff leather soles, and leather stacked heels,so these shoes are a big departure for me. I can walk the mile and a half to work no problem in these shoes, and run around the office half the day without becoming fatigued. This shoe is well worth the price and I will be buying more from this line of Rockports in the future.

Had a pair of Dexter wingtips that prematurely self-destructed. These are way more comfy. The heel looks a little funky, but no one at the office seems to have noticed/cared. Walking in them feels like a cross between sneakers and Earth shoes.

These are very comfortable and supportive. The insoles are removable to replace with orthotics for those with foot trouble.

These are some supper comfy shoes! I love them. They feel a little strange when you first put them on because they don't feel like any other oxford I've worn. They really feel much more like a sneaker then a dress shoe. They are a little narrow as I had to send back the medium width for a wide so keep that in mind when ordering!

I purchased these for an interview for grad school. They were comfortable right out of the box and that they felt more like sneakers than dress shoes. Appearance wise they are very nice looking. I would recommend them. If you are on the fence try them and wore them with a gray suit and they look good with jeans as well.

These shoes look good and feel good I have a high arch, and the shoe fits it well with a symmetrical lace. this is the first shoe I have bought with the driving heel but have already fallen in love with the style. I am slightly bow legged an wear the inside heel. the rubber compound appears that it will limit that, as well. the toe is a bit long in the 7 1/2 but adds to the attractiveness of the shoe, the only feature that will take getting used to.

I will only wear the Rockport Dressports line of shoes. I have a wide foot that Rockport accommodates, and my podiatrist recommended these shoes to avoid problems since I walk so much at work.

Ordered and received 10M as is my true size; however, the shoe was too narrow. Will return and try an EE. Otherwise it's a nice shoe and hopefully it will be a bit wider.

The shoes were delivered quickly. Look great and are very comfortable to walk in. I would buy them again.

I play upright bass and need shoes that look dressy but are comfortable to stand in for several hours. Ding, ding, ding! These shoes are a true winner and more than fit the bill.

Great looking and comfortable shoe but I only wore them for a short time on a carpeted floor. When I ordered them I didn't realize that they had "rocker heels" and I'm afraid that I won't be able to get use to that motion. So with deep regret I will be sending them back.

Great looking business shoe with all the comfort! My conservative husband loves this shoe for business casual dress! I actually could hardly tell the difference between his regular oxfords than this shoe unless I looked very carefully! Very classy!

Sometimes I need medium width and sometimes wide shoes depending on the shoe. For this shoe I needed to order the wide size and then it fit good and is comfortable. I love zappos VIP next day delivery! It works as advertised, even when I ordered on a Monday around 8 pm. Definitely give that 5 stars!

The shoe looks classic with a sporty twist. Dress up with a pair of slacks; down with a pair of black jeans. It's appropriate for all occasions. Keep them shiny at all times by polishing with shoe cream. Buff every time you wear for good measure.

This pair of shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn. Very light and have great support - after wearing them for 10+ hours, my feet are as happy as can be!

Very comfortable shoes that look great. I got a compliment from another coworker on my shoes which never happens. Cannot tell that they are "sporty" shoes with a great rubber sole. Worth the price! I bought them because I have a slipped disk which has not acted up since I bought these and put Doctor Scholl's pad in them. With that it's like walking on a cloud.

These are a great pair of shoes. I wasn't so sure about them when I ordered them, but they have turned out very well. The back heel has an odd design for a dress shoe, which was what made me hesitate initially. However, those fears were misplaced. This was my best shoe purchase in a while.

Great looking shoes that are very comfortable. Heel on the left shoe started to peel off within 2 months. I called Zappos and they are exchanging them for a new pair. Overall very happy with the shoes and service.

These shoes are much more comfortable than all the other dress shoes I have bought prevously. I can stay on my feet all day with much less strain.

Really really comfortable for all-day-lots-of-walking wear. I'm a photographer and when I cover a conference, I have 12-15 hour days where I am on my feet the whole day and can walk more than 10 miles back and forth between the events carrying a bevy of heavy equipment. These shoes are awesome. Feel like sneakers, look like fancy dress shoes. And they are quiet as well. Not the grooviest wingtips on the market, but I find style and this type of support and comfort rarely go hand in hand.

Very comfortable shoe. Great for walking and standing all day long. Nearly as much support as my running shoes!
