Good shoe although I would definitely order at least a half size up as you should with running shoes if not a full size. After about 5 miles my feet feel like they are crammed into a shoe a half size too small. Not sure yet if it was worth the splurge but overall I like them.

I usually wear 6-1/2 in running shoe and the 7 works great for me. I walk and elliptical and so far, this shoe has been doing the job. This is my first pair of Mizunos, so I will have to keep using them to be sure I would buy again.

Shoes fit well and are well made. Firm support with striking so takes pressure off midfoot area. Lots to spend on a pair of running shoes but suffered with Plantar Fascitis last year so well worth it. Let's be real it doesn't cure the pain but something in the shoe helps the condition from worsening! Dr's suggest PT rehab and no running so did both and symptoms still there so laced up the shoes and got back out there.

Very rarely do I write reviews, but in this case I had to share how amazing these sneakers are! I've always worn Nike shoes to train, run, walk, and basically do everything but they seemed heavy and I felt I couldn't do everything with them. I have seen Mizuno sneakers in a couple of fitness magazines and thought I should finally buy a pair even though they were way more expensive than what I usually spend. Now its been a month with them and I haven't taken them off! They are my favorite pair of shoes in my closet, I'm always on the run so these are always my go to shoes! Mizuno are now my favorite brand and I will continue to buy, the quality still amazes me! The only thing is that I wish they had more colors!

I run 35-50 miles a week and have worn New Balance shoes for 25 years. After NB discontinued their high-end cushioned neutral shoe I decided to try these shoes based on all of the rave reviews. I'm recovering from a foot injury right now so haven't actually run in these Mizunos yet, but I absolutely love the feel of them. They are so bouncy! The front end of the shoe actually curves up so It makes you rock forward to the front of your foot when you walk or run on them. I think these are going to work great to take some of the pressure off of my injured heel when I can finally start running again. I sized up a 1/2 size in NB and you definitely want to go up a half size on these too. My only tiny complaint about the shoe is the color offering. Zappos only offers the one dark grey color and even Mizunos only offers two color choices (lt grey or drk grey). Other than that, fabulous shoe!

I love these shoes! I am in the Army so I run a lot and unfortunately I already have hip issues at 25. Since I have had these shoes, I have had no problem! As with all running shoes, you always want to buy a size bigger due to your feet swelling when you run. I am usually a 9 and bought a 10 and have no problem. Normally with new running shoes, my feet go numb on the first couple of runs and with these no such problem. I will admit they did feel weird, because I was not use to the structure of the shoe and felt tall in them, but after a couple of runs I got use to them and they are great!

I love these shoes! I bought these shoes half way into my half marathon training and they worked great. The first time I put them on I ran 6 miles in them with no pain, no blisters, nothing. They have a nice wide toe box and excellent cushion. I have bad knees and they really helped out.

I am 47 years old and this summer decided to start running. My shins were killing me after nearly every run and I was having a lot of hip pain. I tried at least 4 pairs of shoes which were all okay but didn't really help with the post run pain. I held out this pair of Mizunos as my "holy grail" but far too expensive to consider shoes. It kept being recommended by the Mizuno shoe finder for my very high arches and I have narrow feet. Well, I still don't feel like I'm running on pillows. In fact, they feel less cushioned than my Brooks Ravennas. But, after only two weeks and 2 long runs in these, my lower legs don't hurt at all and my hip pain is nearly fully resolved. These are expensive, but I sure wish I'd just bought them first. Now I don't want to run in any other shoe. My one beef with the shoe is, it's ugly...otherwise, I love it.

These shoes have eliminated my heel pain completely. This is my second pair and I wouldn't buy anything else now. If you're generally hard on running shoes, or have plantar pain, try them. Worth the money.

I love these shoes. Absolutely love them. I am a recreational runner, more of a jogger. That might make my review seem less important. However, since I don't run everyday consistently, I tend to get shin splints, knee pain, and hip pain when I train heavier for half marathons. These shoes eliminated all of that. I can stop running for a month, start training again, and have hardly any pain in my joints or muscles. These shoes are amazing. Expensive, and run a little small, but they are just wonderful and worth the money. I can't say that I really like the 'girly' colors, but whatever. I just don't look down. I would recommend them to anyone.

My part-time job requires walking between five and seven miles a day. I also walk regularly for exercise. Since wearing the Mizunos, I am no longer experiencing foot or back pain. The Prophecy is comfortable and the support is superior. I really like the forward motion and cushioned feel due to the sole design of the Prophecy. These shoes are pricey, but are worth the cost based on the performance I have experienced. Having read reviews that Mizunos run a little short, I ordered a size 9. They are a perfect fit. One thing I have learned is to give yourself a little extra room on running shoes. I normally wear a size 8 in non-running shoes.

Loved the fit and bounce of the shoes but they do run a 1/2 size small. I am 7.5 to 8 but I do not like my running shoes loose so I bought the 7.5. They were a little snug and I thought they would loosen up after a few runs and they have not. I needed a size 8. I love running outside in these and I use Brooks Glycerin for my treadmill runs. These are excellent cushion and bounce. Springs you forward.

My husband got these shoes for me because I jog at least 3 times a week and take part in races. It's pricey but you get what you paid for. It's time to buy a new pair and I tried other brands, but I don't think I'll buy anything else anymore unless someone makes anything better than this one.

Second pair of this amazing shoe, the price is high but does not compare with arch support and over all flexibility. Treat yourself, you won't regret it.

So far very worth the investment! (About 1 month.) Previously wearing Mizuno Wave Enigma (love those too). The Prophecy is a bit roomier, thus saying feels a half size bigger. It does not make the shoe feel too big or cause slippage, nor did I size down. They are just that much more comfortable and plenty of flexible room for the toes. If you have a very narrow foot, these shoes probably wouldn't work. I now have two pair so I can rotate. I run 25+ miles per week and am training for Marathon #2. No shin pain, no back pain, no hot spots, no blisters. These shoes were designed to run in. You can feel the difference. Lack of color choices is the only reason I gave them one less star for style but despite they still look pretty good on the feet. Try them. It's insurance for your feet, knees, hips and back. You are worth it!

Why don't they come in lager sizes for women? Love the shoe and the color! I ordered an 11 and need a 11.5! I don't want to go to a man's shoe, my kids make fun of me!

I'm a loyal Mizuno Wave Creation wearer but decided to see what the hype was about regarding the Wave Prophecy. They were comfortable until I started moving laterally and then the top started to dig into my ankle. I used to suffer from ankle tendonitis so needless to say, I only wear these shoes for "everyday" shoes now. I bought another pair of Wave Creations and will continue to stick with my tried and true. As with all Mizuno shoes, I have to bump up 1/2 a size. I wear a 7 1/2 buy an 8.

Being a Mizuno loyalist for years, I was thrilled to see a new style. Because of Zappos return policy and free shipping, I ordered several pairs of Mizunos and was even more thrilled to learn that these fit best. Sadly, after less than 2 1/2 months of moderate wear the support has broken down so significantly that the shoes feel almost a size too big now. My heels can easily slip out of the back of the shoe and sadly, I think they are the reason for the tendonitis onset in my left ankle. So disappointed...money down the train, and a bum left ankle.

Was expecting magic for this price. Felt very rigid - so disappointed. Returned them. And they run small.
