So let me start off with the fact that I am a total spaz and forgot that I had already ordered a pair of these from Amazon in my regular size 7.5. I later ordered a pair of these from Zappos in a size 8 because I am in between a size 7.5 and an 8 but I read your reviews about how they ran small. Because of this silly mistake though, I feel like I can give really good feedback. I can tell you right now that I understand why people say they run small. The toe bed is short and narrow so because of the angle of the heel, I feel like one's toes are always going to be pressed up against the very inside front of the shoe. I definitely felt this with the 7.5 I ordered. With the Zappos pair (the 8), it was a little less but not much more and I had a big gap in the back. So technically, neither shoe fits me perfectly. I would say that if you can't stand your feet sliding around in shoes (because no doubt since they are leather, they will stretch), I would go with your normal size (assuming you can wear narrow shoes because these shoes are definitely on the narrow side). However, there is always the option of ordering a size up and getting inserts (which I hear is a very good solution for some). Hope this helps!

10 runs small. I really wish these shoe manufacturers would recognize that a 40 is not really a 10; 41 would be closer to a true US size 10. Frustrated because I really did love these.

When I ordered these fabulous shoes, I was nervous because I did not order a half size up as suggested by other reviewers. I ordered my regular size 7, and luckily they fit perfectly! They are super comfortable, especially for being so high. All of the Betsey Johnson shoes I have ever purchased have been very comfortable and easy to wear. These shoes are no exception. I love them!

I love this shoe! It's super sexy with the corset detailing on the heel and the pop of bright pink on the bottom of the shoe while you walk is hot! This shoe is comfortable. It's a nice staple to your shoe wardrobe.

I wear a 10. These were way too small. I have to return. As far as looks go, they are very sexy. Love the shoes, hate the sizing.

Love these shoes! I normally wear a 6.5/7 and I had to get a 7.5 They look amazing with jeans or a cocktail dress. The platform makes them super comfortable, an 8 hour work day, to a rehearsal dinner, concert these are very versatile. With any shoe designed like this, I would bring a spare pair if you plan on walking any far distances...just common sense.

Love, love, love these shoes! I would definitely recommend going a half to a full size up. I went a full size up and put insoles in them and they fit perfectly. Super cute and fairly comfy considering that they are 5 inch heels.

Love these shoes! I have 2 pairs in red & nude. They run very small & tight so I suggest going up half a size. These shoes do take a few days to break in, so give it time. They eventually will be comfortable!

I just received my shoes today & this happens to be my first pair of Betsey Johnson shoes and my first purchase through Zappos. If you could imagine how I feel...I couldn't be any happier. These shoes are super cute & very comfortable for 5 inch heels. I am use to wearing heels so it's not too bad at all. I believe this shoe was meant for me being that it was the only size 10 shoe left (no 9's or 9.5). I usually wear a 9.5 (also a 9 too) depending on how the shoe is made but based on the reviews and only having one 10 size left - I got them & it was a perfect fit. They don't look big on my feet at all either. If you are going to purchase these, I would suggest going a half size up than your usual size. I love the pink bottom and the lace design going down the heel. Screams sexy & flirty. A must buy.

These do in fact run small. I don't always have that problem with Betsey shoes but I couldn't squeeze my feet in these if my life depended on it! Ended up needing a whole size larger.

These heels are so sexy! I'm so happy I bought them, although my feet aren't. I never wear heels so 5 inches is a bit much for me, but the pain is so worth it! I get compliments every time I wear them! They also run small. I'm usually a 7-7.5 and I had to get the 8. Order half a size larger than usual.

Love these shoes! Purchased them for a runway show and got tons of compliments! Not the most comfortable platforms I own but not the worst either. I'm in between a 6.5 and 7. Bought the 7 and they fit perfectly.

I absolutely love these shoes. The fit is true to size (8.5) - and for me, the toe box is comfortable. These shoes are high - even with the platform, the shoes are high. For those that aren't used to wearing high heels, they'll take getting used to. The details are gorgeous. I've walked around in these shoes, climbed stairs and they are wonderfully comfortable. (See my comments above - I wear 5" heels regularly.)

I am very happy with this purchase. They fit well, are beautiful, and are surprisingly easy to walk in for a long period of time.

I die. These are so sexy in person. They do run a little small though - I am usually an 8.5 - 9 and I got a 9 but it fits snug - may just be that I need to break in the patent leather. The lace detailing in the back is what makes the shoe. I get stopped on the street with these! About as comfortable as a sky-high platform can get - very high, and a little discomfort after long wear.

Gorgeous! I absolutely love them! I have a feeling they might hurt a bit when I wear them for the first time but, you know what they say, "Beauty is pain." The color is perfect! You can't ever go wrong with the funky yet stylish Betsey Johnson brand!

These shose are as amazing as they look. That extra platform does make it look a little hooker-ish but what do you expect from a shoe that's named after a burlesqe icon. I ordered them in my size and had no problem with the fit. I wouldn't run a marathon in them but I did survive an entire night with very little discomfort.

I purchased this shoe from a different web site because they offered next day delivery for free. I also followed the reviews that were written on here about ordering a half size bigger since they run small. In my case, that was not true and they came in half a size big. However, I put insoles into the shoe and now it fits much better. The shoe (nude) fits amazing and I got so many compliments. It is very comfortable to walk in and it appears to be high, but it truly is not. I recommend this shoe to anyone!

I love Betsey Johnson shoes and had been on the fence about these due to some negative reviews. However, I ended up purchasing them and I love them! I got the nude patent version which is a great color--really makes your legs look like they go on for miles! I did go a half size up from my normal Betsey Johnson size based on previous reviews and I found the half size up fit perfectly. As far as heels go, these are some of the most comfortable heels I have ever worn (mostly due to the large platform on the bottom of the shoe). I highly recommend them!

Just got my shoes today and they are definitely sexy. They do run small though, so ordering a half size up is necessary. The design of these shoes is what makes them stand out most - from the corset back to the pink detail - on the shoe sole. These shoes are definitely a must have!

These heels are hot! They do run a little small I usually wear a size 7 I ordered a 7.5 and it fits snug. So beware when ordering go a half size up if you want it to fit snug and order a full size up if you want it to be a little loose on your foot. All in all this is a great pair of heels very comfy as well Love!
