Great slippers with arch support

Based on reviews, I ordered a 40 and a 41. Didn't try the 41 on, as the 40 was perfect. I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 US, and a 40 in Danskos, so I found them comparable to Dansko sizing. Super cute. My feet feel massaged. Will take a bit to get used to the low backs, but I got them purely for house slippers. I wear orthotics, but these feel like they have enough arch support to wear around the house, similar to Danskos, but in a more pampering way. Love them.

I bought these for my husband. He has flat feet, and is impressed with the arch support. The fit was perfect. They are comfortable and breathe well, cool in summer, warm in winter.

I wasn't sure these would work for my narrow, low volume feet, but with my warm hiking socks they are perfect! Love the support in the arch!

Great shoes. I wear them around the house instead of slippers. Clogs are supposed to be slightly loose according to my friend who has many. I got my normal size.

I have worn this style in many different colors for several years. First as a slipper and now everywhere. I also wear the style with the solid piece of leather. They are all very comfortable and I don't need to wear my orthotics in them as they give me great support.

These shoes do keep your feet at just the right temperature. I wear them primarily as houseshoes. They are very comfortable, but they have very firm support, which is exactly what I need. I can't wear other slippers with cushy footbeds.

Warm, comfortable. The perfect around-the-house shoe, also good in town on a sunny day. Hesitant to wear outside in inclement weather (something we experience a bit of here in the Northwest). Pair with a thin Merino wool sock, and you'll have happy feet like me.

My aging feet love their Haflingers. I never want to take them off; I want to sleep in them. I need supportive shoes now even inside the house, so these are my indoor shoes. My feet haven't been this happy in a long time. And the tag says they're machine washable!

Super comfortable. I wear them all the time summer and winter. This is my third pair. Worth it.

I’ve worn these primarily as house shoes for perhaps 15 years. I wear them always if I’m home. I started out with Stegmann’s version and they lasted for 5 years before I needed a replacement, but the replacement pair’s quality drastically went down and they needed replacement in a year. I didn’t wear them outside at all. So I thought I’d try Haflinger’s version and they lasted me another 5 years. When I went to replace the Haflingers, I ran into the same issue as the Stegmann’s, the quality went way down. The wool felt uppers of both companies have become less densely felted. They’re also a bit thinner than they used to be, so I’m sure it saves them some $ but that means they don’t last nearly as long. I find the toe starts to get thin, and the foot opening gets loose because there’s nothing to support the shape. So I tried the pair with the leather band at the opening, that just ended up stretching out along with the felt, and the upper got thin along the side of the foot and the toe. I still buy them annually as I never go barefoot, and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I’ve found. After some time, your foot molds to the cork sole and you get the most perfect orthotic-like arch support along with the superb cushioning the cork gives you. Since I know I need to replace them every year or two now, I am not as careful of them as I used to be. Sometimes I wear them outside, sometimes to take the dog out in the snow. I’ve never done anything to the cork and it’s held up fine to the weather. To clean them I use a lint roller and a baby wipe to wipe off the tops and they look as good as new…. Until they wear out at the end of the year. I still highly recommend them but I have to say they’re nothing like the tightly felted super high quality clogs I used to get.

Overall great shoe!! Could use a bit more arch support, but super comfy and great for walking around the house.

I am typically a 6.5 to 7 US sizing and wear a 37 EU in shoes like Birkenstocks and Dansko. A 37 was perfect here. When ordering my husband specified a 7 US which translated to a 38 EU which was too big. If you typically wear shoes with EU sizing, I would recommend using that sizing for this shoe. I had to return for a 37 but the return was painless. I wear these as shoes, not slippers and find them to be comfortable and warm and easy to wear with or without socks. I have high arches and these provide decent support so that I can wear them for a long period of time without discomfort.

So I've bought these before and they lasted many years till I spilled a large amount of paint on them! So I waited till they were back in stock and snagged another pair. While I normally wear a 44 in European size (10 1/2), with these I learned to size 1/2 down to 43 because my heel just comes to the back fitting nice and stable in the shoer. I had gotten 44's before and there was a bit of travel in the shoe and I learned that they do stretch especially if you want to wear with socks. Love them barefooted though. I will advise people to buy a cork preserver product you can just brush on the cork which will prevent them from drying out and thus, this is why you see the sole and cork separating from each other. Maintain the cork much like people would maintain their cork floors -- seal them from time to time!! This will allow you to keep these much longer. I'd only wear them inside and short trips on sidewalk outside your home IMHO.

This is my second pair of Haflinger clogs. I hope these last as long as my last pair. My only disappointment is that the color I received is not as pictured. I ordered the Peat Moss color, which shows as a medium brown in the pictures. The clogs I received were labelled Earth on the box and are substantially lighter than the item pictured. I opted to keep the clogs as it has been hard to find them in my size, but was disappointed in the color and a little confused why I was sent a color that is not even listed as an option.

I owned a pair of Haflinger slippers about 9 years ago that were fabulous, but unfortunately they stopped making that particular kind due to the bottom sole coming apart after time. I wore mine everyday and it took about 6 years for them to start falling apart. I loved those slippers. They were very supportive but very cozy and comforting after long hours on my feet. The new ones are just too hard. My tired feet want a little more comfort. Otherwise the slipper is high quality .

I only knew to size down one size because of other reviews and from some someone who told me that similar to Birkenstocks, they often run large. I actually am a size 8 but purchased a size 38 and it was a good fit. I had no issues with the shoe and thought they would have worked well for my plantar fasciitis, unfortunately with my recent problems with neuropathy, the firm soles hurt my feet too much so I had to return them.

It fit. It's comfortable. But the sole is not like my old Haflinger. I liked the smooth sole for indoors. This one scuffs the floor.

I have been wanting a pair of these for ever. They are nice to look at, fit perfectly and are comfortable to walk in. I have problem feet so it is very important I wear shoes that don't make me scream after an hour.

I went down a size, and shoes are still too large. Otherwise, great shoes.

this clog is so hard. My feet were sore for several days after wearing for only a few hours. If you like Birkenstocks then you will like these.. I did love the dark purple wool and the shoes was well made. thanks Zappos for being good with returns.

Since my last purchase of this product (12 years ago), the cut of the shoe has been enlarged, making the fit looser than before, and too large for my narrow foot.
