They are not attractive, but they are super comfortable. Warm, cozy, great house shoes/I don’t care today shoes. But don’t plan on winning any style awards for them.

I've had these clogs before and loved them. However, these were way too big, both in length and width. I would have ordered a size smaller, but your web site showed you don't have them.

Great style. Perfect length. Width too wide. Fell off of my feet as I walked! Had to return.

This would be my second pair of Haflinger clogs, wore my prior pair to the ground, but have to return. Seems like the quality has gone downhill. Felt much wider than they should be, wool looser and thinner, my foot just flopped around in them. Too bad because I loved my old ones.

I should have ordered the same size as I did the previous time i bought these! I went with 39 as that is what they call a size 8. It's way too big, I pulled out my last pair and they are 38.

I ordered these in the eggplant color. Super cute, color is exactly as in the pic. I usually get the leather trim grizzly, but picked this style because of the color. Both shoes are noticeably tighter than that style. Would not recommend if you have wide feet. The others fit my foot width perfectly, but these would be great for someone without wide feet.

I think this style has changed. Previously this style was running quite large and even other reviewers here comment on that. I bought based on that knowledge and the size turned out to be over a size too small and narrower than the old pair of the same style. What a shame. If you are buying these to replace an old pair consider sizing up.

Disappointed I ordered a 36 ~ US women's 5 and they are HUGE on me! I wear a 36 in Birkenstock so I thought the 36 would work in these as well. I think they would be super comfortable if they fit me. But they are too long and too wide. This is the smallest size available so sadly they are going back and this brand just wont work for me. I'm disappointed. I wish these were offered in smaller sizes.

Way too wide for my feet. Very cute, but I wish they made them in narrow.

I read the great reviews & ordered this. Looks good, and I wish it was comfortable enough for me. I am suffering from Plantar Faciitis which has flared up, and was searching for comfortable slippers, but this wasn't the right shoes for me, as it felt hard, and too wide. I will be returning it. I can see that if a person doesn't have my issue, they'd probably love this.

It seems the Haflinger arch support has deteriorated! I am happy with Zappos, but not with the direction Haflinger has gone with their arch support. It used to be really impressive, but now is just like any other shoe/slipper. I hope they bring back their former arch support.

I wanted to love these shoes, and put a lot of thought and effort into choosing them. However, the wool felt stretches over very little time. And, because they are clogs/mules, I constantly felt like I was slipping out of them, even while wearing thick rag wool socks that I had bought expressly for these shoes. They are stylish in a quirky way, and they definitely got looks -- both positive and negative -- from my college-aged students. Ultimately, I had to return them, and am still waiting to see if Zappos will honour the return. They were too expensive for a shoe that stretched so quickly, no longer fit well, was quirkily out of style, and most importantly, did not provide the support that I need while standing on my feet all day as a college lecturer.

These slippers have good arch support, but the inside footbed was too hard for my feet.

Unfortunately, because these shoes are made of wool felt, they stretch dramatically over time as you wear them. Luckily, Zappos extended a courtesy to me and is allowing me to return them, even though I have worn them. Although I really liked these shoes, the fact that they are clogs (and are now too big) means that I can no longer wear them.

I have worn this style from Haflinger for many years and love them! It was time to replace and I ordered SZ39 (women's 8) which I've done for years. I had to return as they were so large that I walked out-of-them when walking. I then exchanged for a size 38 women's 7 and its incredibly small. So, I'm out of luck and disappointed.

Very cute shoe! However, after a day of running around the house, my feet hurt similarly to if I had gone barefoot. I think it's because it has good arch support and I don't really have an arch. Gave them to my friend & she loves them! They were true-to-size, but a little to stiff overall for me.

Love this wool clog and had owned several pair of Stegmanns years ago, until I wore them completely out! I was thrilled to find these clogs online and ordered 3 pairs in 3 different sizes to ensure one would fit. I always wear an 8 1/2 (ladies) size in reg shoes. The 39 should have fit but was too wide even with heavy/thick socks. The 40 was entirely too large overall and the 37 fit in width but was too short! I'm so disappointed. I have an average width foot so I think these are just made wider.

I used to wear these all the time. A friend borrowed and kept! So finally, I ordered these again, waited for months to get the color and size, and can't keep them on my feet! Size is perfect, foot bed perfect, look perfect, but they won't stay on! Feels like the top is way shorter and therefore you have to grip with your toes to keep from sliding off foot. I am beyond disappointed as they seemed perfect for my aching feet. Did they change the design and make the top coverage less? That's what it feels like. Super sad. Back to the drawing board. Thanks anyway Zappos. You rock!

I was very, very excited to get these clogs. I'm a true size 10 but though the clogs themselves fit well, the decorative band across the top was very snug. In a normal pair of socks, it felt on the tighter side but in the winter I like wearing thicker socks and I bought these clogs for the purpose of wearing at work. I'm in a warehouse office with carpet covered concrete floors. Freezing. I was very uneasy about these stretching out enough to accommodate the thicker socks and I was right so I exchanged them for the next size up and to my surprise, the 11 had very little change in size. I would have kept them except that the arch on the right shoe was abnormally high. Very odd. I had a coworker try them on and she noticed it immediately. I exchanged one more time and when the new 11's came in, guess what? My feet were positively SWIMMING in the clogs. SO weird. In any case, back those went and I wound up purchasing the Haflinger Magic in a 10 and I am as pleased as punch. I guess it's just one of those things. Thank goodness for the free returns, though after the 3rd return they wouldn't give me the new shoes and charge the difference. It all worked out in the end. :-)

I wear a womens 7.5. The recommended Euro equivalent was 39. I tried 39, then 38, and now 37. I will probably keep these but they run wider than a medium width.

They are much smaller than they say. I wear a 9 and need to return to get a size 10. Waste of time.

I have been wearing Haflinger clogs for the better part of 20 years, and I can tell you that they are definitely not made the way they used to be. I barely got 6 months out of the ones I bought in the fall of 2012. Please know that the manufacturer has a 6-month warranty on their shoes, and Zappos will honor that. So if the wool wears out or the cork cracks, you can return them. All of that said, they are literally the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have wide, thick feet and I work retail, so I am on my feet all day. They are amazingly supportive. I love them. I just wish they lasted like they used to.

I bought these for my wife's birthday and they would be great house shoes for her plantar facitis because of the supportive footbed. However, the first pair fit but had a spot of adhesive on top so we returned them. The next pair were too small and were returned. The third pair were again too small and were returned. We ordered the next size up and they came with spots of glue on the outside and were returned. The next pair came and the left shoe fit, but the right was way too big and felt awkward to walk in, thus were also returned. Zappos has a great return policy, but the Haflinger product was very inconsistent and its unbelievable that they don't have better quality control when they sell a shoe that expensive.

I have the original shoe box from when I bought my Haflinger Grizzly Grey wool clogs from around year 2000 that says they were a size 40, US: 9W/7M (I haven't worn 9 Women's since I was in Junior High, but that is what fit me at the store). Before I bought these new ones, I read a review that said they are now being made such that the stated fit is 2-3 sizes smaller than what it used to be. So, I went for the 41's since they are supposed to be size 10 (my usual US size). I'd go up to 42's, but the 41's feel wide already. So I think the length is more in line with what I usually wear, but they must be making them for fatter US feet, and my skinny feet no longer fit. Darn!
