I feel compelled to write a review as I have had these slippers well over a year and have had no problem with the toe area as others have described. I am retired and I wear them all day long in the house. I have not worn them outside but I put them back on as soon as I walk in the door, even before taking off my jacket! They have a little give in them after wearing them for awhile. But I would not say they are stretched out. It is more like they conformed to your foot. I am very flat footed, typically wear a wide width, prone to plantar fasciitis, and often have swelling in my feet. These slippers have been a dream for my problem feet. I struggle to find something comfortable. These slippers are awesome!

I really like these hard soled slippers. They have very good support as I have a neuroma, so do need that. I would say they fit me great, but I have a long, narrow foot. Most shoes are way too wide for me, but these fit very well. A person with a medium or wide foot should be aware.

I originally wrote a review saying the seam in the top of the shoe had rubbed my toe raw so I couldn't wear them. Well, I wore them again and they must have molded to my feet because that's not a problem now and these shoes are heaven to wear! Warm, comfortable, waterproof sole so I can run out to get the mail, etc. Highly recommended!!!

I Love (!) these house slippers!! I have had 4 or 5 pair of them over the years. They are like slipping on an old friend every time !!

Love the fit and comfort of these slippers. This is probably my 10th pair, and the only slippers that I will wear. I can sneak out of the house in them if I want and the hard soles make the soles easy to clean. I wish that I could wear them to work! I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable and these are THE BEST.

I wanted a slipper that I could wear around the house with thicker socks and these are perfect. I ordered a larger size to accommodate my socks and they fit beautifully. So comfy and the hard soles let me take the dog out in the back yard without compromising the comfort level for just sitting around. Yes, they're pricey but I love them and may never buy anything else!

This is my second pair. My first pair, not really sure what made me buy them, probably the high ratings, but the price was a draw back. Really expensive when I could get fuzzy uggs about the same price (I do have the fuzzy uggs....but I don't really wear them that much) or bear claws for a lot cheaper...and even target slippers for even less. BUT These slippers a just simply awesome in the comfort department. I'm surprised they wear as well as they do, my first pair lasted about 2 years, and I wear them every day...In fact I'm wearing them now. My days of cheap foot wear are done. My feet are too important and to often forgotten....

I have worn this type of slipper for years. I tried a different brand last year which was “cuter” but did not hold up well. (I really need the arch support.) Yes they DO seem to fit tight at first, but within 24-48 hours they should loosen up and feel about right. The flexible “hard” soul is great for running out to get the mail or into the garage. Just wish Halflinger would make the same style (arch support, hard soul) with some cuter designs...

I just love these slippers. Can even wear them outside in mild weather. Cut just a wee bit narrow for a EEE foot but the wool stretches fine after an hour or two. I have already burned through two pairs of these and they are my go to slippers.

I wear a men's size 10 so I got the recommended European size 43 and they fit perfectly. They are the comfiest slippers I've ever owned with just the right amount of arch support, and with the rubber soles, you can pop outside for a minute if necessary.

I have bought these Haflinger AT Classic Hardsoles for years. They are pricey but last 3-4 years. The only reason I had to replace the last pair was some splits developed in the material at the top, which I could have sewn but it did seem time to get new ones. I love that they are so comfortable to wear most of the year, indoors and yes, outdoors--once I forgot I had them on, they're that comfortable, but I was able to complete my errands, no problem. Luckily it was fall, cool but no snow or rain! The only thing I don't like is that are kind of magnets for dog hair, but I found that a coat brush works fine in removing it. So I can keep the slippers AND my beloved German Shedder, oops, Shepherd Bailey!

Bought these for my 14 year old daughter...extremely durable and I found them new at GW for $9 so I’m a happy camper.

Whoa. Where have these slippers been all my life?!?!? Super comfortable right off the bat. As another reviewer noted, I had to size up. This was a little soul crushing, as I'm a lady and already wear a size 42....I thought. Well, Haflinger feels I'm a Brunhilda and made their slippers so that I am a size 43. I'm thinking of scratching the 43 off the bottom so I forget. Maybe I'll write in a nice little 37 or something. Vanity sizing. I did note that some reviewers were disappointed that a hole wore through where their big toe hits. I am thinking that they made the mistake of not sizing up. If I decided vanity was more important than comfort and kept the 42 I could totally see a hole being worn through the top very quickly.

Love these! These are very comfortable slippers with great arch support. This is my second pair I have purchased. I bought these to replace a pair I got 5 years ago. They do run very small. I wear a 8 1/2 shoe size and I got these in a size 41 and they fit perfect. Normally I wear a 39 in european sizes.

I had originally ordered the Haflinger AT classic with the softsole. The softsole allowed any moisture, like walking to the driveway for the paper, to soak through the slipper and socks. I chatted online with Zappos online and they were kind enough to exchange them for the hardsole with free return shipping and no additional cost. Love my new hardsole slippers! No more soak through. I usually wear a 10 1/2 D shoe size and the size 11 slippers fit perfectly even with socks.

I so appreciated reading the reviews on these slippers. They definitely helped with my decision to purchase these. I am between a 9 1/2 and 10 for length, and the 41 was perfect. I have one problem foot with a mild case of plantar fasciitis and a bunion. The other foot is fine, but I do have fairly high arches. As I've gotten older (58 now) I need arch support in all my footwear. Therefore, I haven't worn slippers for at least a couple years. Until now! These were exactly what I needed: total comfort but with that needed arch support. My feet tend to get very cold during the winter in our drafty house, so I had planned to wear fairly thick (athletic) socks with these from the start. I am between a medium and wide for width (wide because of the extra room for the bunion) and these were slightly snug at first, but were perfect by day 2. I was concerned they might stretch out too much, but that wasn't the case for me. I think these may not work for narrower feet, especially those who don't plan to wear socks. I wear these all the time when I'm home. My only wish was that they were a bit warmer. They are a warm wool, but they could still be warmer for my chilly feet. They probably are warm enough for most folks though. Other than that, they are perfection!

Some reviewers said these shoes ran small. Thus, I ordered a size up from my usual and found it to be too large. Re-ordering in my usual size. Otherwise, seems to be a good shoe.

I do like these shoes - but I wore socks with mine, now they have stretched so much that I can hardly wear them without socks. I also wore them when I came into the garage with wet socks on. I was working in the garden and got my garden shoes wet. Not thinking that anything could happen I changed into my house shoes with damp socks on. This was a big mistake because the moisture on the wool made a stink that you could not imagine.

This is my second pair of Haflinger slippers and I have loved both of them. They provide warmth yet breathe so your feet don't get too sweaty. My last pair lasted forever and unfortunately I will have to re-order this pair. My year old lab liked the left one just as much as I did! I hope if she gets one of my next pair it will be the right and then I will still have a pair!

Pleasantly surprised with this purchase, never paid this much for just a slipper but comfort and quality is there so far. If it lasts for a while, then there is value to this purchase...we'll see.

I really enjoy these slippers! They have great arch support and are comfy. They fit well, and I have wide feet. Keep feet warm but not sweaty. I would recommend these. Oh, as one reviewer said previously, they do scuff the floors, but that is the only complaint I have about them. The scuffs come off easily though.

These are super comfy and warm. It's a very well made shoe with a sole that is tough enough to handle trips outside to get firewood or the newspaper.

I like these slippers, I have a problem with plantar fascia (sp?) due to very high arches. So these slippers really help because they actually have decent arch support. Plus, they're comfortable, warm, and I can already tell they will wear really well.

I love my new Haflinger's. They keep my feet toasty and I can wear them anywhere (okay, not to the grocery store). I haven't had any issues with the center seam which was mentioned by another reviewer. I have noticed they leave marks on the hardwood floor but these are easily rubbed up and I assume this will stop after the sole gets a little wear. Overall, very happy. Thinking of getting some to have at our ski house. Also arch support was important to me and these actually have some.

Love these shoes. my Husband has plantar fascia and usually needs shoes with orthodics or great support. I always order these for him because they mold to his foot and are a saving grace. They fit true to size and feel amazing. I would highly recommend this shoe and this brand! (His others literally wore out, he loves them so much.)
