These slippers have a good amount of arch support which is nice if you are on your feet a lot. They were a little tight across the top of my foot but have stretched after about of week of wear. They keep your feet very warm. Only real negative is that they leave scuff marks on my hardwood floors, but i'm keeping them because I like the support.

I am very disappointed in the quality - I just wear them as slippers in the house and yet the seam ripped open and a hole broke open in the toe area - and my toenails are short! They are not worth the money.

I think this must be my first experience with a REAL slipper. I typically wear an 11 1/2, so from the reviews, I got the 12(US). I thought they would be a little itchy. but they aren't. They are softer than i thought, but just right. Also, I liked how I had to push my foot in just a little to fit and they stretch slightly to fit. Personally, mine fit just right. I also like how I don't feel the border of the sole like i remember feeling in most slippers of the past. This is a fine slipper I must say!

I bought them a half size large. I have a high instep. They were still snug, took two days to break in, now I don't want to take 'em off!

I had a pair of these same slippers about 10 years ago. I got rid of them because the right toe blew out in a year, but the rest of the slipper (and the left one) were still perfect. That was a big mistake, as I had never had such comfortable and durable slippers to wear around the house and outside in the yard while enjoying my morning coffee, fetching the mail, walking the cat, watering the plants, etc. I was so happy that these slippers are still carried, and the price has not gone up that much in 10 years. The quality and great fit is still there so I can go outdoors without changing to regular shoes. If these blow out in the toe this time, I will just get them repaired. They are too comfortable and durable to otherwise throw away. The wool is warm, but soft. The style is correct with any pajama or casual pant/short. They are roomy, but do not slip off. I wear them with or without socks with comfort either way. I love them!

Zappos rocks with the shipping. Never seen anything work as well, especially when it comes to shipping to Alaska. My first selection was too small. Ordered wrong size because of the European sizing. Was not sure the larger size was going to work, but it did. Never had slippers of this style, and am still getting used to them. They stay on better than I thought they would. Still getting used to the freedom around the back of the ankle, but hey, that's just me. I'm satisfied I made the right choice and the money spent is justified.

Had the classic slipper for double digit years before the toes wore through and LOVED them. As I tend to run in and out of the house with slippers, I wanted a hard sole. These feel slightly small, but know the next size would be too big. Hoping they stretch a bit and become my new favorite. They are nice and warm!

I live in the Pacific Northwest and the weather is cold & wet a good bit of the year. When I'm at home, I live in these slippers. They keep my feet warm and provide good arch support. I love the rubber soles for taking quick trips outside to let the dog out and get the mail. They will wash well for 3 or 4 washes, but then begin to unravel. I replace them when they wear out which is about once a year. I like them so much that I just keep replacing them with new pairs.

The slippers were too small and I returned them. I stile haven’t received y refund.

I loved the firmer sole of this slipper. That's what I was looking for. The wool is soft and comfortable. The footbed is also comfortable. The only problem I have with them is that they are wide and loose, and I have to curl my toes to hold them on as I walk. I will be returning them for this reason.

I wear women's size 9.5, and have a slightly wide, high volume foot. I got this in size 40, length was right on but it was much too low volume for me to fit into comfortably. I returned it, and ended up with the glerups in size 40 which fit perfectlly.

Having to return this item. Wearing a US 13, I have always needed an EU 47. The size shipped for US 13 was EU46, so they were just a bit too small. They were also quite a lot heavier than anticipated. The rubber outsole is very dense and stiff.

Not as comfortable or long wearing as the apparently discontinued style with a slightly higher heel back and stitching around the top of the toe. The good ones always get discontinued it seems.

They're very comfortable, especially if you need arch support in a slipper. However, they don't last as long as I would expect for such expensive slippers. I need to buy a new pair every year/year and a half.

These used to be perfect for me, until I began having trouble with swollen feet. Haflinger doesn't seem to make a wide size, but this style does stretch out over time, so I thought I could still wear them...but I can't. The right shoe is so tight across the foot that I developed severe pain in just two days and had to give up on the shoe. Bottom line is that if you have narrow to medium feet, these shoes are the most comfortable thing I've ever owned...but if you have wide or swollen feet, they will probably be much too narrow for comfort.

These fit me so well and were very comfortable for about a year, but the foot bed lining wore out quickly, and they now have holes where the big toe ends. They were a great fit, snug but roomy - no flopping around or gripping with my toes to keep them on. But they didn't last as long as I had hoped. I think I'll look at the leather upper and foot bed in this brand, as it was the best fit I've had in a shoe.

I purchased two pairs in this order. One pair was very loose and did not have new tag on it. Possibly a return? The other pair , one shoe was looser than the other. Both are acceptable but did not fit at all like the previous pair I had ordered which were more snug and have stretched to fit perfectly.

When ordering these slippers keep in mind they run a small.

I have owned three pairs of Haflinger slippers, in different styles. Holes have developed near the toes in all three pairs. The classic hardsole provides the most warmth of the styles I have purchased. All three are otherwise comfortable. I'm not sure what is causing the holes to develop, but they always occur on the right slipper only. My right foot is slightly smaller than the left. I'm going to try a smaller size, as I expect my right foot slides to the front when I walk, contributing to the problem.

Have been purchasing Haflinger slippers for aprox 5 years. Quality is not what they were at first. Need support so still buying because I have not found better one yet. For the price, quality should be better!

I have high arches, and couldn't get my foot all the way into the slipper. My heel hung off the back end, while my toes were nowhere near the front. Disappointing.

I need a lot more arch support than these slippers provide. I am very disappointed because otherwise they were perfect for me, wool with a hard sole that can be worn outside.

I love these clogs but after wearing them once, the seam on the top rubbed my toes raw so I cant wear them now.

I’ve been wearing Haflinger slippers for at least 15 years. All of them have the cork footbed but for one pair that has a rubber sole (no longer made, sadly). Except for the cork cracking, these are great slippers. I never walk in the house without them. They got me through two bouts of plantar fasciitis. I’m giving this version three stars because they were way too small. I’ve always worn a 40. These felt two sizes too small! Unfortunately they had to go back. Might try a larger pair.
