I took my time reading reviews before deciding to order the Haflinger AT Classic Hardsole. Zappos' reviews were spot on. I normally wear a size 11 and, based on the survey results, I ordered a size 12 (45). The width was fine and the length, by ordering a size larger, was perfect. The hardsole allows me to step outside when necessary. I really prefer the "slide in" design. I usually end up crushing down the back heel enclosure, so this design eliminates that issue. The boiled wool is just enough to keep your feet toasty warm without causing them to sweat like most fleece lined slippers.

Best slipper ever, arch is perfect for me. Keeps my feet warm and comfortable on my hardwood floors! Will buy again if these wear out ????????????????????

I think these are the BEST slippers ever. I'm a woman with size 13 feet, md width, who has to wear orthotics for a fallen arch. So you can imagine how tough it is to find ANY shoe. I usually resort to buying Men's size 11-11.5 and the issues inherent to that...too wide, too bulky/heavy, too masculine. Especially slippers where all other styles are too sloppy. This slipper, while a bit expensive, has just the right amount of support and is slim in style and fit. It does stretch over time, but al I do is put big safety pins along the top seam to "take them in" and wear them until the soles begin to wear. I wear them all day long when I'm home and I don't seem to suffer without the orthotics. They're soft and warm and perfect. They're warm but not too...

These slippers are the BEST! They have support and are extremely comfortable. Because of the hard sole, they can be worn outside. I wear these Haflingers only.

Love these! Very comfortable thanks to the arch support. My only negative comment would be in the sizing - no half sizes. My normal size is a 5.5. I went with the 36 - my heel is right up against the back rim. I have tried the 37 but it was too sloppy. I think these will stretch out a little- so that will be good for me.

So comfortable for my sore feet. I never go barefoot at home anymore. Love the rubber sole so I can run to mailbox or on deck. I ordered a size bigger than my regular size 10 shoe because I remembered doing this with haflingers in past. These were still tight at first on top and then stretched out to correct fit. Great arch support - got these off a list of best options!

Arch support, baby. These cozy slipper are perfect if you adjust down a size - they stretch out with wear.

Classic quality and comfort from Haflinger, I moved to the hard sole version to control plantar fasciitis inflammation and it seems to help. Will definitely buy again.

I opted for the Haflinger AT Classic Hardsole this time. Usually I purchase the applique styles. Really like being able to let dogs out and walk in the dew on deck. Less dog hair attachment on these soles. Arch support, no sweaty feet. The applique style lasts about 2 years, not sure how long these will last.

Love these! I should have paid attention to other reviews they do stretch a little- I think I'd be happier wearing a slightly snigger slipper until it relaxed than wearing one that's a bit loose. It took about a week of wearing them an hour in the morning and up to 3 hours in the evening until they relaxed. Only felt a half size larger after a week of wear.

Great slippers. Smart looking, very comfortable and fit exactly just right. They offer pretty good insole support as well. Would buy them again for sure!

Perfect slippers. Best I have ever owned. Light weight but very warm and super comfortable. They feel slightly tight at first but after a couple of wears the fit is perfect. I bought my typical size and they are great. Outstanding quality.

Had the Haflinger AT Classics for about 2 weeks now they replaced some UGG Scuff Romeo 2's for pretty much the same price. Nice and comfortable and seem well made, not quite as decadent as the ultra plush uggs but we all know that plushness doesn't last forever. I suspect the Haflingers will stay comfy for longer and maybe outlast the UGG's which lasted a year before the soles split, time will tell. Size wise I went for the same size as the trainers I wear and found they were just a fraction tight initially but within a couple days breaking in they were perfect and have remained so. I would definitely recommend the Haflingers so far.

Great slipper and worth the cost. I wear slippers when in the house and they hold up well. The slippers seem to be true to size but do tend to stretch out a bit after a short period of time so keep that in mind.

I had to return the first pair because they were not true to size. They size small. A little snug at first but now they are quite comfortable. The chocolate brown is a great color. I have had them only a couple of weeks so time will tell if I order again.

Great house shoe with wonderful arch support. They are comfy, warm, and have great support. They are on my feet as soon as I get home from work and until I go to bed. Love them!

I have gotten these for my husband every few years for a long time. This time the sizing was smaller than before and we had to exchange up. The new ones a size bigger are just as wonderful as ever. Just watch the sizing if you are unsure - Go Big.

Great slipper shoe. Very comfortable to be able to wear around the house or step outside to let the dog out. Only con would be not very attractive or cute.

I love these slippers! They are warm without making your feet sweat. I wear them as often as I can, and they are far more comfortable than my athletic shoes.

These are the slippers that I have been searching for! After trying slippers from many different retailers, I have found the perfect combination of durability and comfort! They were snug when I first put them on but as my feet warmed up the wool expanded just enough to loosen them where I needed them to be.

I ordered 3 slippers (these, Spenco and Orthaheel Gemma)looking for the best arch support as I suffer from plantar fascitis. I wear Orthaheel flip flops all the time but cold weather sent me looking for something to keep my feet warm. I will also note that even in Orthaheel I need the shoes with "aggressive" arch support. The Tide flip flop is great. Even the standard Orthaheel inserts aren't enough support to keep my foot super happy. These slippers and the Spencos were fine if a moderate arch is all you need. Before my foot problems I bought the Ugg moccasin slipper which I LOVED. All these slippers provided more support than the Ugg. Style wise I would have picked these but the Orthaheel won out. The fluffiness inside masks some of the hardness I usually find on my flip flops but from side view of these slippers I can see the arch is excellent. Style....like all Orthaheel I find they will not win any high fashion awards. I have an average width foot...maybe a little narrow if anything and they felt secure. That said the top part of the Gemma is big in appearance. I normally wear 7 1/2-8. I ordered the 8's in these and the Spencos and 7 as my normal size in Orthaheel. All fit fine.

These are my go-to house shoes in chilly N. Michigan winters. I've also discovered they make great gifts! I love that you can run outside with the rubber soles. They are very comfortable. They mold to your feet, and work well for folks with wide feet.

Great slippers. They're easy to put on and take off, but still feel secure when they're on. They're nice and warm, but the wool still wicks away moisture effectively. The footbed breaks in to conform to your foot fairly fast, over a few days. It's got a sturdy sole for quick jaunts outside, but it's not too heavy. Definitely recommend.

Feels warm and cozy. As others said about the Haflinger with hard sole, I needed one size larger than usual to fit properly, so got 44 rather than 43. This works.

I always need to wear something on my feet, so in the colder weather, I am always looking for warm slippers. I now need the constant arch support and that is not easy to find in slippers. Well these do the job! They are warm, provide great arch support and are comfortable! I wear an 8 normally, so as others mentioned, I ordered a 40.
