These are the best house slippers I have ever owned, very cozy but they also make you feel 'dressed'. You will love these!

These are very comfortable for those who need a little warmth and arch support when kicking around the house. This is my third pair. My foot feels at home in these.

I bought a pair of these in Europe over 15 years ago and literally wore them out. I finally looked at the brand on the worn out pair and checked Zappos for a replacement pair. They are the exact same pair from before and I absolutely love them! They are comfortable and warm!

The slippers were purchased as a gift for my husband and he loves them. They are comfy and warm.

No other slipper brand will do. My only mistake was buying a little larger than usual, and now I remember there is some stretch in the slipper and my 7-1/2 shoe size was a bit small for the 39 I purchased. Otherwise, these are perfect, warm and they don't itch.

Great bedroom slipper, not made for outdoor use unless it is dry. Still a great slipper though!

These are the best slippers ever. I need a lot of support for my feet and these are perfect. So comfortable and very warm - but I wear them in the summer too because I can't go barefoot even around the house.

I love these slippers. When my last pair wore out I made the mistake of buying an alternative, and then repeated this mistake. Now I'm back to Haflinger for good. They fit large, so buy a half size down. You won't regret it.

This is the most comfortable slipper I have ever owned. I'm on my third pair and can't imagine anything else coming close.

This slipper is exactly what I wanted. It is wool, which means it regulates your body temperature, so your feet are never sweaty or cold. (Or both, as happens to me in polyester anything.) It has excellent support. It fits my narrow feet very well, but could stretch to wider feet. And I don't like hard soles on my slippers, preferring something more flexible, so these fit the bill. I was mildly bothered by the center seam, but the discomfort is now gone after a few hours of wearing them. I also like the simple styling and close fit -- most slippers make me feel like a furry bigfoot, but these are perfectly understated. Love these slippers.

This is the most comfortable house slipper I've ever owned. I've let several people try them on and they agreed it is very comfortable.

Comfy and warm! I wear a size 7 1/2 and ordered size 7 which was too small. I exchanged them for size 8 which fits perfectly. It would be slightly more comfortable without the seam down the middle. The material they are made of looks like it might not last very long, but I have a friend who had his for almost 10 years so we'll see.

I liked these a lot from a fit and softness standpoint. However, I ended up returning them because when I tried them on and walked around the house, I could feel that seam down the middle rubbing against my toe. I don't plan on wearing socks with my slippers, so they weren't going to work for me. Obviously, this wouldn't be an issue for everyone and, if not, they're light but warm and very comfy. however, if things like sock seams bother you, these won't be the slippers for you. I ordered a pair from the same maker without the toe seam and am hoping for the best!

The slippers felt a little tight right out of the box, but I had read that they stretch, and they have. The arch feels a little off, as if it should be closer to the front. I have been wearing them every day in the colder weather. My feet are becoming more of a problem. I need very light weight shoes as well as no constricting pressure on the top of my feet. I have had so much trouble getting comfortable slippers and these seem to be the best yet. Zappos is great! The customer care rep worked with me to find just the right weight and structure. I have a pair of Haflinger slippers with a closed back. I've been wearing them for 13 years, but they're wearing out, and they no longer provide even the minimal support they originally gave me. I really like the boiled wool and the fit, so I thought I'd try another pair. I realized, however, that I need more arch support now. In addition, the slide style was somewhat difficult to keep on my feet.

These are terrific slippers. Warm, with or without socks and don't get smelly. The only complaint is that mine have small holes started at the big toe! I don't really mind, but I think they should stay in tact longer. I wear them anyhow!

These are very comfortable! Although wool, I find the wool soft and not itchy even without socks on. Neither is it too warm (I live in southern California) in warm weather, yet when it's cooler they keep my feet cozy. I'd give these overall five stars except for two issues. First, you might find similar styles (though not of this feel and quality) for half the price. I'm wiling to pay it (reluctantly) because of then quality and the fact that the imitations are usually made in China and I think the US imports too much cheap junk from China. The second issue is wear. I've owned these before and they wore out in about a year. Seems a bit fast, but it didn't stop me from buying these again.

Haflinger makes a very quality product. This was given as a gift to someone who was replacing their previous pair that they had for many years and wore very often.

These slippers are wonderful overall, but as was the case with many other reviewers, a hole formed in the toe of the slipper pretty quickly. Also, the sizing is off; I had to order two sizes larger than I do in other shoes.

This slipper offers arch support. It seems a bit wider than I wanted, but I still kept them. I recommend this slipper.

Day two, and these are comfy. I expect they'll only get more comfortable with age. I ordered these with a pair of another maker's slippers, and these were the comfort winner. The soles are nice and quiet on the floor, if being kind to the folks downstairs is a consideration. I did have to swap up a size, from my usual 44 to a 45, as the 44's sole was decidedly shorter than my foot. The seams down the center top take a few minutes to get used to. Totally fine with socks, still a little funky without, but hopefully this will improve with age. My only real complaint about these is the lack of non-boring colors in sizes above 42. So it goes. Comfort trumped style (the other slippers I ordered) in this case.

I have worn and loved this style of slippers for years - they are very warm and comfortable. Occasionally after a few years my big toe would end up making a hole in the top of the slipper, but I would restitch it and it wasn’t a big deal. However, with my last pair, which I’ve had just under a year now and only wear inside the house - the sole is delaminating and falling apart. I just noticed it on one slipper, but when I checked the other I could see it was starting there, too. It must be something in the quality control. After less than a year, and only wearing them in cold months (I live in California) I feel they should do better and am concerned they are making them differently.
