I love these shoes! I have fairly narrow feet and don't generally have luck with slip-on shoes, but these have enough cushion that they stay on well. I wear them around the house almost constantly because I want some cushion for my feet on our hardwood and tile floors. They have soft soles so they are quiet when I'm walking, which is also nice for others who may be sleeping. I would advise you to get the size that feels JUST too snug because they compress a little over time. I've had mine for well over a year and I still love them.

This is my second pair of Haflingers. Like the previous pair, it wears well, is comfy and warm without being too hot, and washes nicely. The seam was annoying the first few days but that went away after a few days of wearing when the slippers broke in. I also have Lizzy, which is the style with no center seam. I find it less cushy and more apt to slide off the feet, though it's nice too. It has a touch more arch support, but I prefer the AS Classic because overly high arches hurt my feet. I tried and returned the Grizzly as the arch support is much too high. So if you are looking for somewhat less support, the Classic is a good choice. If you want tons of support, go with the Grizzly. Lizzy and the styles like it are more intermediate.

These are very nice slippers but I didn't like the feel of the seam down the center. I'm going to switch these with a non-seam version.

My husband is a big fan of these slippers, so when the old ones were worn out, nothing to do but replace them! They are comfy and work well in all home environments; he wears them in all seasons, too. They do stretch out with wear-- he ordered a half size smaller than he would normally get, and although they were a bit snug at first, they are perfect after a couple of weeks around the house.

This is my third pair in about 20 years. They last a long time and when needed are easily repaired. Just a needle and thread! I love them.

Best slippers ever. I was skeptical to spend this much on slippers as I've been a $10 slipper man and am cheap about house clothes. Savor the moment I get to throw these on. Great on your knees and back. Supportive slippers, who knew!

These are my favorite slippers. They're warm, but not too, since the wool breathes. They don't make my feet sweaty. They're easy to slip on and off, yet hold my foot snugly. And the sole, which is completely supple since it also is wool, has little nubbies on it to prevent sliding. They're as unobtrusive as a slipper can be, which is what I prefer. They run a tad small, so I order a half-size up.

I always get these slippers for my husband. They are warm in the winter, and OK for summertime, too. I order him the size that is his shoe size and not a half size larger because they will stretch out. They are wool. So when you first get them, your foot should snugly fit inside of them and there shouldn't be any or very much room at the heel. As you wear them, the wool will stretch and you'll have more room. We like these slippers because they do not "stick" to the floor like the rubber soled ones do.

I tried these slippers on in a store a few years ago and was impressed at how comfortable they were. I didn't purchase them at that time, but yesterday I ordered them through Zappos and received them this morning. They are just as I remembered... perfectly comfortable the moment I stepped into them. They are very soft; not at all itchy. The footbed is nicely padded and there is definitely some arch support. They felt like MY slippers right away. It will be nice to see how they wear over time, because I would like to order a 2nd pair that have the rubber sole. These fit the bill for now and I am happy with my purchase.

Haflingers are incredibly comfortable. Slide on ease and natural fiber prevent overheated feet. Long wearing.

Best slipper I have ever worn! I have high arches and a tile floor. These babies make my feet feel wonderful. Very well made and true to size. Comfortable in winter and summer.

Wow. These slippers hug your feet just right. There is even an arch. Because they are made of fabric all over including the sole your feet feel like they are in a comfort zone. True to size but if you wear it with socks buy one size up. I highly recommend you buy it.

Very cozy slipper. Temptation is to wear them as regular shoes. They do run considerably larger than US sizes but as slippers, it is okay. I have tried their regular shoes but the smallest size is far too large. Quality is there.

These are the classic boiled wool slippers. They are wonderful.

Best slippers ever. I live in a cold climate, have slippery hardwood floors, and work from home...which means I need a comfortable slipper I can wear for 18 hours a day. I was skeptical at first -- they aren't the most attractive things on the planet. And they are just a bit scratchy on my sensitive feet. I solved that by wearing a thin pair of socks. I love these things! Indoors only, as the sole is soft, but yes, the sole is rubber...after so much wear mine came off, and it's a thin slab of wool-lined rubber. Will try the hard-soled ones eventually too. I'm a size 8 1/2 and the 39's fit perfect.

I love this slipper. I have always worn Acorn slippers because they have wonderful padding and support. This slipper is definitely on par with them. It gets more comfortable the longer you wear it. I do find it feels better with socks on. If I'm barefoot the wool can be a bit scratchy. I'd order another pair.

This is the second pair that I have purchased (first for me, the second for my husband). These are awesome slippers. They are comfortable, warm, cozy and easy to wear. I have gone through various slippers over the years, and these are really at the top of the list in therms of construction and comfort. My husband was so jealous of mine that he ended up getting his own! I love the muted colors as well. I would definitely recommend them.

These arrived less than 36 hours after ordering, and were true to size (after a very short time wearing them about the house) and very good quality. Very comfortable and breathable and just perfect for cold mornings in an old house. in North Carolina. Service was excellent.

The soft sole slippers are wonderful and very true to size. The hard sole version was too small in the same size (36) and too large in (38) which I ordered because a review said they run small. I hope a (37) fits.

These are the most basic, useful, warm, comfortable slippers. I get a pair for my mom every other Christmas and they're always a hit. She loves them. No other slipper will do.

If one was to imagine the perfect slipper, this would be it. This is a classic bedroom slipper, soft sole (not hard sole -- with rubber traction), felt bottom to keep things quiet. It is soft but sturdy, cozy, but not overly warm, and the support is amazing for a slipper. Far surpassing my high expectations -- a bit more expensive than one may have expected to pay, but well worth it.
