I have worn these slippers for YEARS! They used to be sized perfectly, not sure what’s happened…??? I ordered a 41/10 as I have always ordered, but they are extremely SMALL. I sent the pair I ordered back, thinking it was a mistake, re-ordered, and the 2nd pair was again way to small! I’ll be sending back again, and ordering the size 42/11 in hopes that they actually fit! These have always been my favorite slippers and I’m so disappointed the sizing has changed. Order up if you decide to purchase!

It seems that they are too wide. My feet slip when I wear them. Other than that, I like them!

Nice slippers, but the suggested size 40, which is a little larger than my usual size 39 was too small.

I love this brand of slippers, but the sizing is very inconsistent. I’m a true size 6, and need a 37 in the hard soles ones. They say a 6 is a 37, bit on normal European conversions a 6 is a 36. The 37s fit perfectly. I ordered these in a 37 and they were huge so I exchanged them for a 36, which were perfect. I ordered another pair and the 36 was so tight I couldn’t get them on. I had to order the 37 instead. Luckily Zappos is great about exchanges and returns. Haflinger, get your sizing together!

I bought the same size as I wear in Birkenstock, 38EU. The Haflinger was too small. I returned them for a 39EU. I also decided to go to a style where there isn't a seam that can be felt on the inside of the slipper. I suppose I would have gotten used to it, but this way, I don't have to do that. I am very happy with Haflinger Hearts slipper. No seam, and the wool stretches to accommodate my wide foot with a bit of arch support.

Worst slippers ever

They were very nice but the seam down the middle of the shoe is very irritating and goes in between your toes

The slipper was tight around the foot area and the stitch in the middle of the slipper was pushing on the foot. It would have been fine if the stitching was done inside out

5 years of very light use and the stitching where it touches the outer sole is coming apart on the toe and heel. They are also very slippery on hard floors, the tiny grips on bottom do nothing and wear off right away. They are the warmest and most supportive/comfortable slippers ever though, so I will purchase the same but with the rubber bottom next time.

BEWARE! The dark sole leaves a shadow on pale carpeting/rugs. Using a clean cloth, I scrubbed it across the black sole. Yep. There was the culprit responsible for the dark shadows in front of my sofa. I never had this issue with my previous Sorel slippers with dark gummed soles. These slippers do stretch but they are toasty warm. I really like that. But alas, not worth ruining my pure wool rug.

I loved these slippers, but after a year and a half, there's a hole in the toe! These things aren't cheap! I was hoping they'd last a few years at least. :(

I really like these slippers, but they shed terribly. They pill up and leave balls of fuzz everyone. For the price, Haflinger should be able to do something about that.

Trying them on it found them impossibly itchy and scratchy – wool is not gentle!

Great wool slippers but way too big. I have previously ordered the exact same size and I don’t know why this pair is significantly larger. :(

I was excited to be getting my 2nd pair of Haflinger AS Classic slippers but soo disappointed the arch support was not nearly as high and supportive as in the first pair I bought several years ago and have been wearing every day since with much happiness. These arch supports are not as high and don't feel amazing like in my old Halfingers. My Podiatrist recommmended Haflinger slippers for my Morton's neuromas and they had been perfect for me. But not this new pair. I compared the arch supports of my 2 year old Haflinger slippers with the new pair and it was very obvious that the new Halfingers have much lower arch support. I am very disappointed! PLEASE Halfinger - bring back the old higher arch supports!

I really wanted to like these. They were comfortable and warm, but the seam running down the middle of the slipper hit right between my big toe and first toe. It made it feel like I was wearing a flip flop with a thong in the middle of the toes, of which I am not a fan.

I wear slippers all fall/winter in my house. I can tell these are not going to last. And the big one for me is that I do often step outside for a sec - these are just wool on the bottom.

I'm usually a 7.5 or 8 but the 37 was still a bit big with bare feet. But the main problem for me was that I could feel the center seam on the slipper on the inside which was uncomfortable. For this price for a slipper I would expect them to cover the exposed seam. Also, the wool material is very scratchy. Overall, not a great product and not cheap.

Very cute, but the stitching in the middle is a bit uncomfortable. Too expensive to not love.

What's great about these slippers is that they are so warm and light! My feet get really cold and immediately feel toasty when I slide them into these slippers. The cushioning is just right for indoors. I hate foam soled slippers that squish with each step and these are more firm, but still forgiving on my kitchen tile. The felt bottoms keep them really light, but it has gripper dots to help with traction. With all these positives, I really wanted to like them, but the arch support was not right. They are more supportive than most slippers, but the arch support is attained by creating a deep heel cup which makes the slippers functionally shorter, and for me, the support was a bit misaligned because of this. There is a little felt backstop on the slippers, but if your foot slides back that far, your heel will be landing on a little hill created by the back of the heel cup. That's where my foot wanted to land most of the time, which made my knee hurt a bit, so I will be returning them and perhaps trying a larger size, though I imagine I'll have the same issue due to looseness. Wish the arch was built a bit differently.

Great slipper for several months, comfy and warm and the perfect sole to step outside for the paper on a damp day. But by the end of the cold season, my big toe had pushed through the fabric. Over time, it only got worse. Had to ditch them. Too much to spend on slippers that last less than a year.

This is a great slipper for comfort and fit and anyone who has foot issues. This is my second pair and hopefully they will last longer than the first pair I purchased which fell apart less than a year. All of the stitching came loose all around the slipper front area and holes on the top by the toes. For the price I expect them to last for years! I had to purchase another pair even thou I was not satisfied with my first pair as I cannot find a better slipper for comfort.

I wanted to love these slippers as my doctor suggested them. Walking in regular slippers or barefoot on my hardwood floors is becoming a thing of the past. Unfortunately I found these slippers to be very uncomfortable. I am a size 5 and these maybe ran a size 5 1/2 yet it was the width that was more of a problem. I felt like I could step out of them. Also the seam that run along the top drove me crazy rubbing on my foot. And lastly, I felt the wool to be very scratchy. I probably could've have worn socks, yet that defeats my purpose of buying expensive slippers. However the support was wonderful so I will try another style.

I was so excited about these, but 4 months later a third of the nubs that provide traction on the bottom are worn off and I'm sliding all over the place. They're too expensive for that lack of durability. They also stretch quite a bit--others note this, but it's a significant amount, not a typical breaking in amount.

Felt very wide on my feet - wider than the hardsole classic. Loved the fact that these are washable, but I preferred the hardsole because I can go outside to get the newspaper and not worry about it.
