RUNS REALLY SMALL. Great slipper, just order up!

I live in these slippers every day and I have bought them many times before. Actually over a period of 40 years now. They're exceedingly comfortable, but the main problem I have with them is there isn't enough non-skid stamps on the soul of the slipper to keep the wool sole from getting dirty. And I do wear them in the kitchen on the tile floor They have little tiny red dots like an animal paw print on the sole and they wear off in time. Lately I have found myself looking for a shoe repair place who can attach a better protecting sole to the slipper. I'll probably keep buying them, but know if you buy them you may end up with a hole at the big toe. I haven't figured out how to deal with that, but I'm sure I can come up with a creative solution.

I went up one size in these slippers. Usually take sz 41 but that was too short. Had to size up to 42. Very comfortable and warm. I have a narrow foot and these slippers fit better than most. I'm guessing they will stretch but so far so good.

This is my second pair of these slippers. They work well for me because they have fairly good arch support for slippers and they have a soft bottom. I'm usually a size 8 and in these I order the 40/women's 9. I always wear socks with them, and they work well enough for my narrow feet. I'm giving 4 stars because I feel like they didn't hold up quite as well as I would like. I've had them for a year and the insole is pretty worn out/stretched and detaching from the bottom, causing my foot to slip.

These are very elegant, well-made slippers and the wool felt is lovely and soft. I had to return them for size reasons--I ordered men's size 9 (equal to women's 11) for my husband but the slippers that came (size 42) seemed to fit about a size smaller. (I wear women's 10 slippers and these fit me comfortably.) They do stretch with wear, but the sole length doesn't stretch so we went with a different style that fit better.

The size nine fit perfectly except for the height at which the top of the slipper ended. It was too high and cut into my foot. This is a change from the pair I was replacing.

I've been wearing these slippers (this model, that is) for maybe 15 years! Obviously, I like them. The one change I'd like to see would be for the makers to provide a more defined arch support. This one gives a little support, but it's minimal and of course flattens out over time.

Have ordered and re-ordered Haflingers for years and love them! However, this purchase felt a little shorter than previous ones, almost-- but not quite, enough to return them. Instead, am hoping that continued wear will expand them a bit.

I have purchased these slippers over 15 or more years. This is at least the fourth pair I've bought. I buy a size smaller than what my shoe size is. They are a bit snug to begin with, but the wool does stretch, and they fit perfectly. I love the warmth and the slight arch support. They do wear out in time, sooner than I would wish. I've thought the style with indoor/outdoor soles might hold up longer, but I hate to mess with success.

I've worn these slippers for years, always a size 39, which now seems to be running small.

I received these as a birthday present and worn them exclusively - during the winter and summer months. They were certainly better than the shearling slippers I have worn for years - no matting, breathable, no sweating. Would give them five stars, except the big toe wore out less than a year into wearing. However, the Zappos 365 policy made it so I could exchange them for another pair easily.

I like these. My old pair was a size 38. I had to size up to 39 because they seem to run smaller now. I compared my new 39’s to my old pair of 38’s and the foot bed was still slightly bigger on the old pair. I do have a wide foot. I would recommend going up a size.

Comfy cute and good outsole (has enough soft-support); would definitely have kept these BUT the inside top edge of the slipper has a strip of some lining (maybe to cover a seam or stitching or something?) and it rubbed the top of my foot so badly to the point of making a red, irritated area on the skin of my foot. Maybe would be ok if you wear socks, but aren’t these supposed to be slippers worn barefoot?? Back they went. :(

Nice felting. Good thicknes. Just too small

These slippers are very comfortable and cozy. I wish they had a bit more sole support. I've worn them a lot for the past 15 months and they are worn out and starting to fall apart. For the price, I'd hoped they would last two years at least so I'll choose a different replacement.

Everything but the size was great. have to return because too small

I have been wearing these Haflinger slippers for 30 years and am disappointed that they no longer have an arch support. I also must look for the "soft", dots bottom instead of the hard bottoms they are putting on the slippers. So if you like the "soft soles" with the dots...be careful when ordering. Otherwise...I love the wool as it molds to my feet and the fact that I can wash them. BUT...I LOVE ZAPPOS as a company as they have given me superior customer service every time! I won't go anywhere else because of their excellent service!

This is second order of same shoe I had for over 2 years. It feels a little tight on length at the moment. Perhaps it will stretch to fit with more comfort. My other pair had stretched to fit. We shall see.

I have worn the Haflinger AS Classic slipper for the last few years. They are very comfortable. They are a bit short for me but I know from a past purchase that these will stretch out a bit so I am keeping the size 40 (I wear a size 9 and am a narrow width). I hope my toe doesn't poke through which can happen with these slippers but I have successfully mended a hole that developed in my past pair.

Seem a bit loose fitting , although comfortable. I have a 9 (40) wish you had half sizes!!!

I’ve loved these for years and glad to be able to find them at zappos.

I’ve had a few pairs of the hard sole version of these, but I like these better so far. They are very comfortable, super quiet (which is great for my downstairs neighbors), and the fit is great. What’s odd is that I wear a size 6, which is a European 36, and the sizing here says it’s a 35. I was a 37 in the hard soles ones and bought these in a 37, and they were huge. I sized down to the 36 and the fit is great.

I love these slippers. They are true to size for me. The arch support is nice. They are super comfortable. They look how they look. I think they are nice. I keep buying them despite the fact that the seam at the toe inevitably comes apart too soon. I continue to wear them until they are falling off of my feet. I REALLY WISH they would hold together a bit longer!

Loved them but they were to wide and I was afraid if they stretched a bit I would walk right out of them.
