Frankly, I thought I was crazy to invest so much in a pair of slippers when I bought these, but they really are great. Warm, hardy, don't get sweaty, washable, and they've molded to my feet. I hope they will last for many years!

These Haflinger slippers are attractive, comfortable and well made. I have had several pairs and really love the fact that they do not cause my feet to get too hot which is unbearable to me. They feel good and provide some support to my feet, unlike many other slippers. I thoroughly recommend them to everyone.

This is my wife's third pair of Haflinger slippers, they are the best, warmest, most comfortable slippers ever! And Zappos rocks!

Great slippers. Excellent support. Warm. I love the classic look, and I *really* love how quiet these slippers are as I walk on my hardwood floors. As another reviewer said, they don't slap or flip-flop. They are somewhat more scratchy than the Glasswein slippers, but provide better support than the Glassweins. I like to wear a thin cotton sock with these slippers.

These get about one year's worth of wear time if you are easy on them. Otherwise, they tend to wear a hole at the big toe if your nails are not groomed within 6 months of daily use. EU Sizes run smaller than US standards so go one full size up if you prefer a bit of play or half size up for a true fit. Comfortable.

These slippers come small - order at least one "number" up from your "regular" size (eg, if you're a 42, order a 43 or 44).

These are fantastic slippers. Well made and durable, I wore my last pair for 10 years. They are warm but let your feet breathe. Size 37 fits my US size 6.5 foot well.

This is the 7th pair of Haflingers I have bought for everyone in the family. Have used them for more than 10 years. Warm in winter, cool and breathable in summer. A pair lasts a few years of daily use.

Wear a U.S. 9 in most shoes, a 40 N in Birkenstocks. I had to get a 41 in this slipper. Most slippers are too wide and slip of when I walk, these are working perfect.

Great product - bought as a gift for my wife to replace her last pair of Halfinger slippers which she absolutely loves and has worn for many many years -- easy order entry -- excellent packing -- super-fast delivery and outstanding communication. I love these slippers and have been buying them for years (as soon as the old pair wears out.) The footbed is comfortable and the arch support is great, the boiled wool keeps your feet warm and also keeps them from sweating (unlike all those polyester fleece slippers). I throw them in the washing machine and air dry them outside twice per year and they come out great and do not lose their shape. I highly recommend them!

These are the best slippers ever! Perfect for spring, winter and autumn, wool keeps you warm yet breathes. I wear 6.5 US shoe and 37 fits well. Haflinger are quality slippers, they wear like iron. My previous pair lasted for 10 years with almost daily use (except for those hot summer nights).

These are the BEST slippers I've ever owned. My husband and I had them in the 80's and then couldn't find where to get them - thankfully, I discovered Zappos. My husband has a EEE width and these worked fine - stretch just enough to make them comfortable no sweaty feet either!

This is my second pair of this slipper. It has good foot support, good floor traction and is washable; also is very comfortable. Imported from Germany, you pay the price.

Very comfy and quiet when walking on hardwood floor. I can run up and down on carpeted stairs no problem with these. I have toddlers, so it's important for me to sneak up on them or run after them all the time. Very nice feeling with bare feet. It is worth money spent.

These slippers have been my favorites for about 20 years. They are super comfortable and provide slight arch support. They are not too hot in summer and they are cozy in winter. When a pair wears out, usually after three or four years, I buy a new pair. At first the new ones feel quite a bit different, and not as comfortable, as the old pair. Over a few days, though, the new pair stretches out and conforms to my feet, and then they are just as comfortable as the old ones. So if you buy these, order in your actual size and expect them to be slightly tight at first. Do not go up a size for a looser pair. That would be a mistake. Though if you are between sizes, I would recommend ordering up so the length works for you - especially since the back of the slipper has a slight lip.

I love these slippers. I'm on, like, my 5th pair not because they aren't durable but because I wear them whenever I'm not out of the house. I gave a pair to my sister a few years back and she too became a devoted wearer. This pair was the third pair I've given her as a gift. Boring? No! This is what she asked for because after about 3 years, the soles had begun to separate from the tops. Why do we love 'em? Durable, yes, of course. But also comfortable with good arch support and warm, she's in CT and I'm in MN so we're always on the look-out for ways to keep our feet warm in the winter. I hope Haflinger never stops making these slippers. Oh, btw, be sure to get the ones with the seam down the center and the ones w/out a seam don't wear as well.

I am pleased that these classic boiled wool slippers are still available. Not only are they comfortable and warm, but they are quiet. Most other slippers seem to be using hard, outdoor-type soles. Thanks, Zappos, for stocking these.

A light slipper that is easy to pack for travel. The wool is great year round even in Vegas. Accommodates a high instep and stays on the foot. With a high instep and the painful callouses that go with it, no slipper or shoe compares. I am pain free in these. I have several as I fear being without a pair.

These slippers fit well and give both great support and warmth.

My wife loves these! I just ordered her another pair. They do wear out if you wear them a lot because of soft soles, but that is one of main features she likes. Sizing was just about right. She is very finicky about her feet. I would highly recommend them.

I love these slippers. They are very comfortable and I wear them all the time in the house. They are a little tight and first but loosen up after a few times.

These were a splurge in terms of price, but they are awesome and I love them as an indoor slipper. I have wood floors at home; with these I can walk around silently & comfortably, & with warm feet. There are grips on the bottoms that prevent slipping but are not too sticky & don't leave marks. Haven't noticed any smell despite the wool & bare feet. Expect to be cozy all winter. These are my 6th pair of Haflinger slippers and 2nd pair of this style. As always they are comfortable, supportive, and perfect year round.
