I tried a number of different Haflinger and Giesswein wool slippers but my narrow foot kind of flopped around in most of them. This pair however was snug and cozy! I got them for this winter in Idaho and my visiting friend from San Francisco promptly got herself a pair as well after trying mine on. I love how well sheepskin breathes and my foot does not sweat. They have a nice cork foot bed that offers moderate arch support for me (mine are extremely high), but it is enough to fulfill my needs. Most ladies would consider the arch support excellent (and compared to most other slippers which have no arch support, these are excellent). They should mold nicely to my foot after wearing a bit. The tread is great, will accommodate trips outside in the snow and ice perfectly without slipping. The Chianti red is gorgeous! I am a size 11 (sometimes 11½) and found that the 11/42 fit perfectly, although I would not say that you need to order down. These run true to size. Finally, the perfect indoor/outdoor winter slipper.

I absolutely love my other pair of Haflingers, the felt-soled house shoes, so decided I would like an all day pair. The styles with the center seam fit me better than the molded toes. However, although these are just as comfortable around the house, with a nice form fitting insole, I do not find them all that wonderful to do a lot of walking in. My narrow feet slide forward in the shoe when walking at more than an amble, so my toes get sore & I feel like the shoes are falling off. I may give their boots a try sometime.

These shoes are amazing- worth every penny. I hadn't realized how much my feet were hurting until I began wearing these nearly every day. They break in beautifully and look great with jeans. I bought these to replace a similar looking shoe that I loved, but I wish I had switched to these years ago. I have very narrow feet and these fit well in the medium width.

This is the Mercedes of shoes! I bought this shoe in a store at least 10 years ago; it was the most comfortable shoe I had ever worn and provided great support. I am still wearing that shoe but it is consigned to "everyday use." Now I have a new pair for "dress up" use. I have a tendency to have feet problems. This shoe is just as good as wearing the best sneakers, but being more comfortable, cozier, and a bit better looking. Worth any price.

Wow. These are great. I have worn Haflinger shoes as slippers for years. Due to my bad knees I need the support. I have never seen them with sherpa lining. These are super. True to size/width and eye catching. Worth the money.

I have worn Haflinger shoes for years and have many pairs. I wanted this red furry pair because they looked so fun. However, the quality was not at all what I was used to from Haflinger. The suede was so flimsy and the synthetic fur looked so cheap. The glue was over the edges on the suede. When I took a few steps in them, the suede from around the heels curled under my feet. I felt as if they would tear at any moment. I am so disappointed in this style of Haflinger because I really wanted a red, furry, fun pair of Haflinger.

These shoes do NOT live up to Haflinger name or the price! The lining is synthetic not shearling as advertised. There's a small footnote the shoe (color) in the video may not reflect stock. Complete disappointment. Manufactured in Ukraine.

I love these Saskatchewan slippers or shoes depending on where you wear yours. This is the second red pair I've gotten, and they came in record time. A little spendy, but I'm worth it.

Love! I've had Haflingers before, but never with the fur. So comfortable and indulgent. They serve me well here in the Texas winter. A quick trip to the grocery store, out to get the mail and dozens of other reasons. I find them to be true to size. I'm always barefooted, but could easily wear socks in these.

These seem to run a bit small for Haflingers. I always wear a 39/8 in them, but, I'm sending these back--they're just too tight. I should mention that I have a very high instep--which is where they're too small for me. I realize they might loosen up with wear, but, don't want to risk it. Otherwise, they're wonderful, as are all Haflingers.

I wrote a review early and marked they fit true to size but really, they run about a half size larger. I usually order a size larger so my orthotics will fit but with these my size fit perfectly WITH my orthotics so you don't need to go larger. LOVE THESES!

These are so awesome! They're super cute and comfortable, have great arch support, are very well made, and toasty warm. I bought them to use as slippers. I wear my slippers all day (I work in my home) and use orthotics to prevent plantar faciitis. I ordered so many different shoes/slippers and returned them all. I had just given up when I saw these do thought I might as well try them too. They're PERFECT! These can definitely pass for slippers but I can still wear them out, too. Wish they came in black! The red is gorgeous..a true red. So happy!

I love those shoes. I knew I would because I have bought Haflingers before on a trip to Germany. Very comfortable and warm an good looking.

Very cozy slippers. I have been looking forever for the perfect pair. Warm and great support. Most slippers would slide off my feet or were too big. These were perfect.

Wanted an alternative to the Ugg slippers. Alas, these are so wide they are hard to keep on comfortable working around the house. They are cute and less bulky looking so when you run outside you look like you are in a casual shoe. While the Uggs always look like a big, floppy slipper.

I have a wide foot and bought this pair of shoes/slippers 8 years ago. The shoe molded to my width and I use them most days as slippers, though will not hestitate to go outside in them or wear them for a walk around the block. I feel they are excellent as slippers but after walking around the block my feet become tired in them. The sole scuff up my hardwood floors, which is a bit annoying, but with these issues, I still came back to Zappos to buy another pair.

These are very nice, but they run small because of the thick shearling; I am afraid that if I get a larger size, it will be too large once the shearling packs down.

I have narrow feet. This slipper would have worked if the sole were flexible. The cork makes the sole stiff, so going up or down stairs on carpet (my life) makes them slip off. Great slipper, but had to return.

While the fleece lining was warm and cozy, there isn't the same arch support in the style I need as there is with the classic wool-felt "Grizzly" style. Also, narrower because of the fleece. Wider feet would likely have a problem. Had to return.

This are the slipper mules that I was searching for. I got them in red about five years ago and wanted a fresh pair. These however have changed enough around the heel area, taller in the center back and side back area, so that they fold over there, when you wear them, and get under your heel. Also the suede does not seem to be as sturdy there either. The size is the same as my old pair. I am sad that they do not compare in design.

This is one of those shoes that work real well for people that like a lot of support for every nook and cranny of their food. Arching here, bumps and lowering there. I like a bit of arch support but don't need toes supported, ball indented, archway curving. Cute shoes though.

I loved these! They are so comfortable and warm. The shearling fleece on the inside is the best. However, after wearing them off and on for a few short weeks, the tie ripped out of the suede top. There is no way to fix this; the top of the shoe now flaps. One would think that for the amount you pay for these, they would have somehow reinforced the holes where the ties go through. Very disappointed. I would buy Haflinger shearling again, but I would not buy this particular model.

I am returning these because unlike Keens, the black rubber soles leave black marks on the light wooden floors in my loft. I have another pair of Haflingers that do not do this, and they cost less! I was sad.
