These were so cute but realized when I put them on that rough wool makes me itch. Felt great, otherwise, and so cute! But they went back. Can't have rough wool, even felted, against my skin.

I finally decided to splurge on this pair of Haflinger slippers and am so glad I did. They are the most comfortable, cozy, not to mention cute, slippers I've ever had. Unfortunately for Zappos, these things look like they'll last out my lifetime and love 'em.

In a few words: cute, warm, comfortable. They don't slip off your feet because of the way they cup your heels a bit, but you can still easily slip them on. There is a bit of arch support in there (could use more--I'm used to Birkenstocks), and they are also not slippery on a smooth floor.

Love these slippers. A) They are so cute. B) Very comfortable, and has nice support for the arch. C) Very good toe area, not tight or narrow. D) Keep my feet warm and cozy, but they do not sweat, and the interior of the slipper is always dry...I am 'homebound' so I wear them more than most. I walk on carpet and tile, and they have a nice grip on the bottom. I recommend these highly.

I had purchased these slippers last winter and completely forgot to leave a review. I LOVE these slippers. They fit well and are true to size-maybe just a tad bit on the wide side, but that works for me with a bunion. There is a little support at the back of the slipper which helps it to stay on your foot. They’re cozy and warm and that’s a must in Vermont. We don’t wear shoes in the house since we live on a farm. I’ve worn these slippers now through one winter and am on my second one and they show absolutely no sign of wear. I even throw them in the washer to clean them and they don’t shrink. The only negative, and this is absolutely nothing to do with Zappos, is we have a Great Pyrenees dog and his hair (which is vacuumed constantly) collects on the bottom of the slippers and I have to periodically pull it off. It’s worth it, though, to have such an incredible pair of comfy slippers!

I've always loved haflinger slippers, and have had other pairs in previous years, but this style (and all the ones with the felt bottoms with little traction dots) are too slippery for walking on our all-tile floors. Soooo disappointing. Haflinger used to make some styles with thin rubber soles (not their 'hard sole; ones, which I don't like) but this year they don't seem to have any. Some of their styes in previous years also had a piece of suede around the toe over the felt which would keep the felt from wearing through so quickly. Are they now cutting corners cost-wise? Also they seem to have changed how they stitch the sole onto the foot (which is maybe good as that was always a weak area of the slipper), so there's now a 'lip' all around the bottom (with the sold being larger than the foot part). As soon as I tried them on the 'lip' caught on a throw rug in the room and I almost tripped. So although these felt comfortable as always (wide toes, arch just right, not too high or too low) and fit perfectly, they will no longer work for me (unless they at least bring back the nonslip rubber soles) and unfortunatley I will have to change brands. Incidentally, there was a rough spot on the inside stitiching of the right slipper. I ordered two other pairs with diffeent designs as well and neither of those had a problm (though one was mismarked size-wise; it was clearly 1 size larger than the other two though they were supposedly the same size) Seems Haflinger 'quality control' may be slipping...

These were great... while they lasted. I'm not hard on shoes or socks, in fact I've NEVER worn out a pair of shoes or socks. But the wool on these slippers began to develop holes near some of my toes within three months. By six months the uppers were separating from the lowers. I have sewed the uppers back on by hand at least twice a month and stitched the toe holes up as well, but, now, after only nine months they look raggedy and awful. The slippers also stretch out pretty quickly, and the only way to get the desired width back is to wash them (they are washable), but, after awhile, even that doesn't help to tighten them up. Haflinger's quality has definitely gone down hill. For such an expensive slipper, they sure didn't wear well or last long.

I've had my cat slippers for 2 months & the non- slip stars on the sole have worn off. These slippers are very slippery on my hardwood floors. They run way to big & aren't true to size at all. I wear a size 5 so there's no going down a size. They are very comfortable & warm but tend to catch the hem of my pajamas when I'm going downstairs.

These are so comfy. There is lots of room here, but they stay on your feet. After a little while, they kind of mold to your foot. They never get too warm, but they keep your footsies nice and toasty in the winter. Love.

These Haflinger slippers are the warmest and most comfy I've ever had (actually, this is my second pair ~ and they both have been extraordinary). The first pair I had lasted about 5 years with constant wear. I had them stitched up once at my local shoe repair as I couldn't part with them. So, these "cat and yarn" slippers are my second pair. They are quite cute, entirely comfortable, and keep my feet warm as toast. I wear a 39 and they fit just like my size 39 birks.

Very cute and comfortable. I normally wear a 9/40 but had a pair of Haflinger slippers before which were 39. So I ordered the 39 and they fit perfectly, even with socks. I like the light sole and the bit of support. Just right for around the house. And did I mention how cute they are(?) No litter box required.

These are very warm and comfortable. I want to wear them all the time when at home. The flexible soles help make them lightweight and perfect for indoor wear. This type sole would not be good for outdoor wear.

The fit was just right. The wool is really durable and sturdy so it doesn't stretch out and stays soft. The arch support is amazing-better than some of my shoes. I love the wool because my feet don't sweat and keep my feet nice and warm. The bottom is a rigid wool and even though it's not waterproof I've had to wear them outside to run to the mail box a few times-no problems at all. These are excellent slippers and well worth the price.

Because I have very wide feet, I had to go up from a 7 to an 8. They still fit well, the felt stretched on the widest part of my foot so there is no hint of tightness. They are super warm! A nice cozy slipper to put on your feet when you have to get up in an ice-cold house in the morning.

Yes they come apart at the seams like the other reviewers said and they widen. However they are the MOST COMFORTABLE slippers ever. There is nothing like them. Mine loosen at the seams in about a year ,year in a half but I don't care they are the only slippers I will ever wear. They mold to your feet and feel great!

LOVE THESE SLIPPERS! I’ve been on a hunt for slippers to replace my Ugg Coquette slippers (the new ones don’t feel like the ones I’ve bought in the past). Although these are different than the Uggs - I have fallen in love with them. And they are ADORABLE! I smile every time I look at them, and I absolutely love wearing them. I wear a 9-1/2 M ... I bought the size 9 and they’re just fine. My new favorite slipper!

I love these slippers. So very comfortable & warm. They are also very quiet when you walk. May be good for apartment dwellers who have neighbors below them. I ordered a pair (Night Owl) for my daughter for Christmas. The coffee design is too blah compared to the colorful ones. I think my Planter Fasciitis has disappeared because of these slippers.

I love these slippers. They run a bit wide but I like it because I can wear socks if the weather is cold. They are warm and comfortable! and cute! I highly recommend these slippers.
