This was my first experience with Volatile but I read all the reviews before ordering and I have to say this is the most ridiculously comfortable pair of sandals on the planet! The footbed is soft and pillowy and the sole is nice and wide so I feel perfectly stable walking in them, even though they are a little higher than I am used to. The squared-off heel looks odd but isn't a deal-breaker; the one thing that is concerning me is how noisy they are! Or maybe it's just me? I'm thinking it's because of the way the rubber sole wraps around and up the back of the shoe. I just know that I make a lot of noise walking around the house on the tile floor. I don't think I can give these up, though, they are that comfy. I ordered my usual size 6 and it fits perfectly. Love them!

What a beautiful thong sandal! I bought the brown and they are really cute to wear with shorts, skirts or dresses. I had never heard of Volatile before so this was my first pair, I loved them so much that I came back and bought a second pair, I really like the sole of the shoe, they have a nice rubber sole so they grip nicely, no sliding around when it rains. Also the footbed is so soft and comfortable. If you haven't tried these, you should; they are just great. I can't wait to buy another pair in a different color!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I don't get to wear them much because they are kind of wide in appearance (the fit feels normal not wide) which makes them a little clunky and more casual seeming than I usually wear. If you need to walk far in these, you will be very comfortable. They are like walking on foam pillows. I will find a way to wear them more!

These shoes are so comfortable but I was a little disappointed that they looked so wide. The fit was not wide but the shoe was because of the straps being attached to the inner perimeter of shoe.

I already owned this sandal in natural and brown and just ordered it from Zappos in black. It is truly one of the most comfortable shoes/sandals I have ever worn. I'm 70 years old and this heel is higher than I normally wear but because of the platform, it doesn't feel that high. The wedge gives you a lot more support than a narrower heel would. They are well-constructed, flattering and very comfortable. I highly recommend them!

I love these shoes...the raffia trim coordinates with summer straw purses, & the way the shoe is designed gives you height, but an easy-to-walk on platform. (I have these in 2 other colors!)

I really loved these shoes! Unfortunately, I had to send them back as they did not fit my feet. I would have re-ordered these in a wider width but sadly they are only available in the single width. They are well made and very attractive. Really wish manufacturers would be more inclusive of sizes/width. Zappos was great to deal with as always, and I promptly received my refund.

Cute flip-flop with a wedge! It was a wee bit snug, but has loosened up after a couple wears. I love the color. Looks great with white.

I didn’t like the large look of these on my feet. They were too long (should have ordered my normal size instead of sizing up), but just big looking all over. Returning.

Very cute and so versatile.

I have these wedge flip sandals from a few years ago. I love them and always get compliments and they go with everything. I was looking forward to a new fresh pair and ordered a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, although they still have the great look that they’ve always had, and the quality and wear has stood up over the years, but the pair I received is so shallow, so short that I couldn’t slide my foot in :-( I don’t know if they’re manufacturing them different now or if this is a defective pair, but my older pair was not like this. I don’t have an overly large instep or anything and this is not a problem I have with other shoes. If this is how they’re all made now you’ll have to have an extremely slim foot with shallow instep to slide in. Disappointed and will have to return them.

Thes sandals fit well and are comfortable. However, they look a bit clunky and heavy on my feet. I am keeping them because I just wanted a sandal with heels for kicking around with jeans.

Cute n unusual. Nice higher wedge however additional 'footbed' threw off gait a bit. High marks for style but not for stability

Very comfortable and the strap is also padded so I didn't have any rubbing on the top of the foot.

This is a nice casual shoe, with a good heel height (not too high and not too low), I have not actually worn yet, but the fit seemed true to size.

I love these shoes. They are my summer stand by. And, I always have two pairs...one on the ready as ultimately, after long wear, they do break between the toes. Especially, if you get them wet.

I bought these exact shoes in black and in brown. The black ones fit perfectly, but the brown ones are very, very tight across the top. I am keeping them in hopes that they stretch, but if you have a wider foot, you might have problems sliding your feet into them.

If these sandals came in half sizes, they would be perfect in every way. Volatile...please consider carrying these in half sizes for those of us that are in between sizes. Perhaps your sales would go way up!

Comfy, good arch support, able to walk around for hours with no problem. I have big feet (10) and they look it with these, a little clunky. Wore these to Cabo, got dirty pretty easily, though it's not the cleanest place, and the part of the sole (a Volatile trademark, unfortunately) that swoops up in front of the toes came loose on one, can't figure a way to glue it back down, even with Krazy glue. However, a friend and my daughter both have these and they haven't had the same problem.

Bought these as a replacement for a pair I already own. Sizing is not the same and structure is much stiffer.. Sadly having to return it.

The large leather "thong" seems to be placed too far back on the size 41. I never had a chance. The rest if the shoes looked perfectly executed. Gorgeous style.

Many volatile shoes are cute, but if it's a thong-type style, the toe separator tends to be very uncomfortable to me. Unfortunately, this one was no exception. Although I like the raised foot bed, the tan color down the center looks more odd than I hoped. Volatile does do a good job of creating a comfortable footbed at least!
