I have been a long-time owner/wearer of Vans classic slip-ons. Decided to give these try hoping for maybe a little bit more padding. I've always worn a size 10 for the classics, so ordered the same here. Unfortunately, all the extra padding in these make these size 10's impossible to "slip-on", and they squeeze my feet very tightly. Wore them around for a couple of days to see if they would stretch, but so far nothing...still very tight. Also, the "pro" materials used in the uppers do not breathe as well as the classic canvas, so I find my feet sweating more (although that might also be a function of the tight fit).

These are pretty great. Since they're a pro-skate model they come with a nice, cushy insole which makes them way more comfortable than the standard model. I use them for skating and the lack of seems on the upper makes them pretty durable. Good shoe for both skating & hanging around.

Nice quality sneaker but the extra padding makes it a size to small.

Had to return for a half size larger - a full size bigger could've even sufficed. The idea of adding a cushy sole to a classic Vans slip-on is great in theory, except for the fact that it's the same depth as their normal slip-on, so there is far less room for your foot. This shoe is not as loose and casual to throw on as the classic slip-on. May bother some heels, too. But they look really sharp and I have a feeling they will "settle" and become more comfortable in time. Still in love with the iconic Vans style.

Comfy and built sturdier than the regular Slip-On's. But the extra bulk means these fit quite a bit tighter. Need to try on half a size bigger.

My son was looking forward to these Vans. These look nice and seem comfy. They also seem really narrow, not width-wise, but height-wise. It's hard for him to slip his feet into them, and then his feet look and feel like they're popping out the top, like they're not all the way in, height-wise. So we might need to return them and look for something else.

Shoes have a tight fit even without ankle socks which caused blisters on my toes. They look good. I guess I just need to brake them in.

Historically for our kids vans have been well build. Our son wore these for a couple days and the inside arch part of the sole started to pull away from the canvas material. Disappointed in the quality of this pair of shoes especially being the pro skate version. Hoping we can get a pair that will be put together with the usual Vans quality.

I really wanted to love these but I ordered what would have been my usual size and they are way too tight. These are my first pair of Vans so maybe they size different and I wasn’t aware. But I do love the style of them!

My son has had many pairs of Vans over the years. He wanted the Pro version this time because we thought they would be more comfortable, last longer, etc. The problem is that the insoles made the shoe too tight on the top of the foot. Removing the insole helped but then you might as well get the regular version. We tried 2 different sizes and neither worked. We'll go back to the classic slip on.

Fit well lengthwise, but the vamp was so tight that I couldn't get my foot in. Weirdly, the next size up (11 mens) was too long but the vamp was comfortably wide to put the shoe on. Unfortunately, neither worked out, as they are good looking and the comfort insole seems to be the perfect modification to give the classic slip on some additional support.

I was so bummed these are so tight and I even went bigger than the recommended size. Maybe I just need to break them in?

I bought these because my other style was out of stock. They did not fit well. They were a little too large and just felt uncomfortable. I sent back and replaced with my go to slip on classic.

I was so excited to get these. I got the Pro for the extra comfort but I think it actually has made the shoe tighter around my foot. This is by far the worse break-in period of any shoe I have ever owned. The 8 was too big...slid off my foot when walking, so got the 7.5 and had a bit of trouble getting it on. I had my foot covered in bandages, and tapes to help with the pain in the areas of rubbing. I love the look of these shoes and hope after getting them broken in, they will be as comfortable as most have claimed. I just cringe when I think of putting them on again.

Look : 10/10 : These things are beautiful. I love how they look Feel : 3/10 : It's a super tight fit. And I've never ever had a problem with a size 13 shoe before. After a while, I figured out that the problem wasn't the shoe itself, but the HUGE cushy insert they put in it. It's just too big for the shoe. And if you take it out, you've got no cushion at all, but the shoe fits perfectly.

I’ve had multiple pairs of the normal slip ons, these were significantly tighter. Hard to even put on. Returned. They look good though...

Looks great, but the canvas will give you blisters quite quickly. There's no good way to wear a sock with these, so you're just stuck with the blister.

They're nice, but they feel small and I'm not sure they'll stretch out the way many shoes will.

We are long time Van lovers and wanted to give the Pros a try. Unfortunately the new design felt narrower and we had to return.

These shoes look great, but they aren't the best if you have wide feet. I ordered up a half size - as I've done in the past with Vans - but this time there was way too much room in the toe. However, when I ordered a pair that was true to size they pinched the sides of my feet something fierce.

This review is for the Pro's with the suede top. These are the most uncomfortable Vans, especially Vans Pro, I've ever had. I guess I was expecting a really comfortable shoe since most Vans Pro have been extra comfy in my experience. Maybe they need to break in some more but I think it's the suede top that makes them uncomfortable in combination with the pro insole, which I love that insole, but it leaves a bit less room for the foot. With thin socks they are not as bad, with thick skate socks they are more uncomfortable.

Arch was too high for me

VANS - Look huge on my foot. I ordered my regular size of 9.5 and probably could have worn the 8.5. I was looking for a athleisure sneaker that was still a little feminine and this is not it!

Way too tight across the arch, had a difficult time putting them on.

I have neuropathy in my feet. I ventured away from Easy Spirits, which I usually buy, trying to get a pair of red shoes. These just did not feel comfortable to my feet, altho they may acceptable to a person without the problems I have with mine. They were nice looking, seemed to be well made, just not for me.
