I bought my first pair of these about a month ago, and if I'd written this review then, it would be a very different review. I have a couple pairs of Spanx Slim Cognito Mid-Thigh Shapers, which are fabulous and similar to these but quite a bit more constricting, so I loved that these are more casual and relaxed. They are extremely comfortable, don't roll up or down, and do exactly what they say they do. I was so thrilled at first that I ordered a couple more pair. I've probably worn the original pair 1-2 times a week in the past month, so they've probably been washed about 6-8 times so far, always on delicate cycle, always air dried afterward. Well, after only a month, they're starting to fall apart. They have a large hole in one of the seams, and I noticed a huge run up my backside this morning. Nice. So now my opinion has changed drastically because for the price I really thought they'd last more than a month. The Slim Cognito version I mentioned above are about twice the price, but they've lasted two years now being washed and worn with similar frequency. So I'll enjoy the remaining two pair of these, but after they're toast I'll be looking for something else or buy more of the Slim Cognitos. In short, if you don't mind paying for a pair for panties that you'll need to toss out soon, I'd encourage you to buy them because they are wonderful while they last. If, like me, you're going to be annoyed when they start falling apart, I recommend you don't.

These are terrible. Mine began to ladder within a week or two of first wearing them. Now, 6 weeks in, they are basically in shreds around the crotch. Save your money and buy a product that won't fall apart right away.

These are not made well any more. All of the stitching came apart in seams after wear them only 3 times. They are now full of holes. Where are my old Spanx that last several years?

I fall on the line of C and D so i ordered a D. I am 5'5", 180 pounds, size 12. I just wanted these to wear with dresses to avoid thigh rub. These were tight! And there was serious roll down just by trying them on and walking around in my room bending over to test them for rolling. My guess is to try an even larger size.

Love it! This tucks the belly pouch in as needed. I wore this under a knee-length cocktail dress and it was comfortable and perfectly concealed. I prefer this over the Super Higher Power. Be careful though, it comes pretty close to the knee so it can be exposed while sitting or dancing.

I have tried many styles of Spanx to wear underneath a dress to smooth jiggle. All styles were too constricting! This style is perfect. Did not have any trouble with rolling waist band or leg bands. Smooths nicely. Controlled leg and rear jiggle very well. I am 5'5" and 175 pounds. According to chart, I should wear size "C" but it was too tight and I felt like a sausage. Size "D" feels good, not tight, and does the job I had hoped for. Highly recommend this style.

Love this style! I bought a few different styles of Spanx to try for under a form fitting dress, and this was by far the best. This pair is so comfortable and I did not have any problem with the waistband rolling down, or the legs rolling up. It stayed put nicely, has just enough control to kind of suck everything in, but without making you feel like you can't breathe. The waistband is just the right thickness and stretch, and comes to the perfect height that it covers the important areas and doesn't create a muffin top (some of the lower styles did). Highly recommended and of course, Zappos is fantastic, as they were at my doorstep the next day and I didn't have to run around to a bunch of different department stores trying to find them.

These are good but the waistband rolls which will not give you a smooth look under a jersey type dress. For this reason I gave 3 stars only.

This was the first pair of spankx I've ever purchased and I was really happy with them. I bought them to wear with a dress that was just a little too thin and fitted in the back thigh area some help creating a smoother look, and they worked perfectly. I thought they'd be constricting and uncomfortable but they're not bad at all.

I love them! They are so comfortable and offer great support. I actually used them to help me recover from a run. The compression is firm but comfortable.

These were great! I wore them for my wedding. They didn't roll over once. I would recommend them for any lady!

This is, by far, the most comfortable shape garment I've ever purchased. It holds you in without making you feel like you can't breathe. I had read some reviews where people complained that it fell apart after washing. I've handwashed mine and have had no problems.

Spanx are great. I was very happy with this item. Keep in mind the length of the Spanx on the leg. They are kind of long and might not work with a short dress which is what I learned. But I am still keeping it.

I absolutely love my Spanx! They truly are super panties and make me feel so much better when I have them on. I love the smooth lines that they give and they are comfortable to wear under everything from dresses to capris to pants. I would highly recommend them and they are well worth the money!

Works beautifully to prevent chafing and jiggling. Firms! Waistband rolled the first time I wore the panty. After that, I wore the panty over a pair of regular panties, and the rolling was reduced. Maybe the machine wash helped.

Spanx is a life-saver, or at least a waistline saver! I know whenever I'm wearing something a bit slim and revealing around the waist/hips (like a dress or tighter pants) that Spanx will help me feel like I'm looking as slim as I can! Us wider hipped girls should all have Spanx in the drawer!

I love these. They really help keep things together. And they don't cut in at the waist, thus avoiding the cinching problem most hosiery products have.

Wonderful support when not wearing support panty hose. They don't ride up like the shorter version do. Highly recommend for a finished feeling. Best to wear with a skirt or dress as the thigh line may show through when wearing slacks.

I was very uncomfortable in them. They tend to roll down and you have to keep straightening them out.

All the hype about "Spanx" is true. And getting them at Zappos, makes them even better, because of the selection and the speedy service. A win, win!

These are awesome! I bought these for when I am riding my horse for a little more protection between me and my breeches. These panties are absolutely amazing and very very comfortable. I also wore them under my exercise tights for dance class, and they kept everything smooth and secure. Highly highly recommend!!!

At 5'4”, 115 lbs., I just need something under clingy dresses and skirts to hold everything in place. These do the trick nicely, but so do nylons cut off above the knee. Of course, these last longer but they are pricey (thus the 4 rating).

These spanks are great. They do run small so I would suggest if you are between sizes you go up a size. If you don't they tend to roll down and cause more bulging. They would be even better if they were just a little taller and reached to under your ribcage. But they are comfortable and definitely get the job.

I am 5'7'' and 140 lbs. I ordered the size C first (that's what I fell under according to the chart), and though they were OK, they were not too slimming. I then ordered the B, and these are much better. I should have known the first size was too big when I was not the least bit uncomfortable wearing them! Hope this helps someone out there with sizing.

This is one of the best, but not the best, slim wear I've had. I get mine to prevent chafing when wearing dresses, so it's important the fabric is nice enough to not 'swoosh" when I walk. This one does not, thankfully! I sized up to 2x from my normal 1x and it fits like I like, no sausage for me, thank you. Zappos is the greatest place to get something. I always check them no before making a purchase of an item from another site. Zappos often beats the cost because of the free shipping and the package always comes the next day!
