These boots were comfortable straight out of the box. They seem well made and sturdy, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I would give them 5 starts overall but the leather on the is a bit stiff for my tastes, but just a bit.

I returned the medium and got the wide. it helps but to be fair it is my feet that are the problem. I am 74. I am trying a pad in the bottom to see if it helps me. The boot so beautiful all leather. I blame my old feet. I don't want to take anything from the boot because I am old with some arthritis.

Didn't have my size so I tried a larger size, they were too big. No issues just wrong size. Found a different pr at a local store.

Order a size down. Great wide boot for the price! The leather is significantly thinner than my Hondo boots from the 90s, but the style and price were perfect. They are truly wide, but I was a full 1.5 smaller than I thought I'd be. I had to return several pairs before finding the right fit.

I already have an old pair of Dan Post boots in 10.5EE and ordered my new pair the same size but the were too loose in the knuckle. Returned for store credit and went on the waiting list for a pair of 11D's. Great boots that I have been wearing for decades. Never knew that they were named 'Milwaukee' because that is where I'm from and bought the boots there first back in the 80's...

my boots were a great fit other than the toe size. after talking to Zappos customer service I returned them and got the same size boots with a one larger toe size. my ties feel very comfortable to the the new pair but not other part of the feet— the new boots become much wider every where in addition to the toe region. In order to wear them i need to insert two Dr. Sholl’s half inserts. I will call the customer service again for advices .

These boots were way too narrow, could not get foot in!

the boots were right size except the toes. after increased to 2.5E for toe size, the toes fit perfectibility, however the other parts of the boots suddenly become much wider too.

I was not impressed with the quality of the leather. The leather overall is very thin and feels cheap. I did not find these boots to be particularly comfortable. I was very disappointed since all of the other reviews seemed so positive that I was expecting a superior boot. I was actually concerned that maybe I had gotten counterfeit boots, so I went to a local boot store to compare my Dan Post boots with the ones they had in stock. Turns out the boots were legitimate, just this particular make of boot is lightweight. I wound up trying on some Ariat boots and found the quality of leather and comfort to be superior to these Dan Post boots. The boot shop salesman said that Dan Post boots are more dressy, and what you would wear when dancing, while the Ariat boots were more rugged.
