These shoes quite literally fell apart in less than a month of wear. My son wears a size 14, so I think he is a bit hard on shoes, but to me falling apart in less than a month of normal, daily wear seems ridiculous. I would not recommend them.

I purchased this shoe prior to a trip to Europe. I wore them for the few days leading up to my trip and I noticed that something was wrong. The padding under the right heel was not done properly and was causing a sharp pain in my right foot. It felt like there was a metal bar in the padding. As I was leaving, I took it to my local boot shop. I wear a size 17, so new insoles were out of the question on such short notice but he was able to add an additional layer of padding and do what shoe cobblers do. It did help a little, but something was still off. I dealt with it but would up throwing the shoes out when I bought a new pair of similar shoes in Germany. The main point is that they felt like your heels were standing on a metal rod. It may have just been my pair, but I will NEVER by Ralph Lauren anything again and am out 80 bucks for this worthless pair.
