I tried many pairs of boots before this one. I hesitated because they looked big and clunky, like Uggs but with a better sole. In reality these are much more sleek than I thought they'd be. Finally found the keeper pair. I have a regular width foot in front, a super high arch, and a narrow heel. These boots fit my foot perfectly because I can tighten them nicely with the laces (which are fully functional and not just decorative). The boots are sturdy and the leather is good quality without being stiff. I can move and walk very comfortably unlike other, more constricting boots. So comfy and cozy inside with the shearling running all the way to the toe. I got the size 12 and they fit more like a large 11 so I'd say these run a bit small, but not uncomfortably so. Wish they were waterproof but for the comfort that these provide I am happily keeping these anyway. I also tried the Chaco Tall Waterproof Nurl but the heel was so loose and without the ability to tighten them they flopped around on me. Footbed, comfort and delicious lining were the same.

I live in Chaco sandals and shoes because the foot support is so good for my knees and feet. Unfortunately the boot doesn't offer the roominess offered in the shoe and the top of my foot started to ache due to tightness. I'm not sure it will stretch out so I think I'm returning and wishing that the boot felt more like the shoe. I loved everything else about the boot.

These are great boots! They weathered the snow in Boston and New Hampshire and in the -8° they kept my feet warm and toasty. The color is fabulous and they do not discolor in moisture. They are super warm and good looking with amzing arch support. These are great boots.

These immediately felt comfortable the first time I pulled them on, and have only gotten better with wear. They are extremely warm and very easy to get in and out of.

Really warm, and with great insoles. They have the comfort of Uggs (the Uggs my PT won't allow me to wear), with full fleecy, fluffy lining. The exterior isn't very stiff, but the built-in insoles (permanent, they don't come out) have awesome arches. The laces are long enough that you could even tie them around your calf for extra stability.

Absolutely love these boots! I have worn Chaco Z-2 sandals for years now and I am now a believer in their boots! They are very warm and grippy in snow. They are easy to get on and I love the fact that I can cinch them down for a snug fit. The foot bed gives my high arches plenty of support! My only complaint is the laces. Cotton laces through webbing equals broken laces! Quickly, I might add. Over all, these are very sturdy boots that are stylish and attractive. Whether you are snowshoeing or out on the town, these boot will take you there! Very cute with tights and mini skirts!

Finally! After trying several other boots, including a different style by Chaco sent by mistake (thank you, Zappos, for the free return shipping!), I finally found the perfect pair. They are super comfy yet supportive, and they look stylish and cute, even on my big feet! I just hope the arch support is good over long walks, since I can't put in my custom orthotic. I'm a bit worried whether the Chaco arch, which is quite high, is in exactly the right place. But so far, they feel great! They are wider than I need, but the laces allow me to compensate and get the support I need.

Love these boots! I'm not a fan of Uggs, but I feel that these similar comfort with a hiking-boot style. I took these camping in cold weather and they were perfect. I plan on wearing them all winter in the snow - they look so cute with denim leggings!

These boots did fit my big calves and were true to size but the arch was very high and my heel didn't touch the bottom of the boot to well. It made my foot hurt after a few minutes of wear. They felt big and clunky.

I ordered an returned these boots 3 times before getting the correct size. They run (for me) 1 full size too small in my regular shoe size. I ordered and 8 and found happiness in a 9. I'm ready winter - let it snow!

I was on the lookout for boots in this style and really liked the price point of the boot on sale. I usually wear a 9, but these felt tight and so I returned them and bought a 9.5. They felt good, and look great. I haven't tested them out yet as it was spring when I bought them, but am excited to wear them this next winter!
