True to size, except a tad wide...good for me as I have a wide foot. Very comfortable and good traction.

DUMB! I've never seen a shoe so WRONGLY sized. The 7.5 fits like a size 6! The toe box is so freaking narrow. Yeah, it'll fit if you were a super thin sock. But, who is going to wear THIS BOOT in summer time heat (it's tall, and leather)? Beware, if you buy this be prepared to wear thin, I mean THIN socks. I'm sending back and reordering at least a .5 size up. I have a pair of Chaco sandals in a size 7.5 and they fit perfectly for my wide foot. What happened?

I wanted to love these boots as they have the look I have been on the hunt for, but I am sending them back. The main problem is that they don't fit. As other reviewers point out they are small. I usually wear a size 9 in most things, but the 8.5 fit best in terms of foot length. The other problem is that on my slightly smaller foot my sock comes off when I walk after only about five minutes (again, noted in another review). Actually tried different sock types/fit but same thing happened. In the boot that is tighter due to a slightly larger foot, the top of the boot was pressing too tightly on the top of my foot. I don't anticipate I would be able to handle the bruising and subsequent pain that breaking them in would bring. The second problem was that these look VERY worn. I know that that is the look to a degree, but these were taking it too far for me. It looked like I had inherited these boots from someone who wore them regularly as they have noticeable and repeated scuffs and dents. I am not sure if this is how they are new or if these boots have been tried on by about 50 people. Either way, the first problem related to fit was enough to send them back.

Love the look of these boots, but they were just not comfortable. They felt a bit narrow in the front of my foot, then open up again in the toe, so the problem is that socks get pulled very tight when trying to get my foot in. Also, my heel slips out when I walk in these. And the arch feels like it is not entirely in the right place, so my foot just didn't sit right in these.
