I love the look of these shorts and ordered this pair for a recent trip where I knew I'd be active and it was going to be hot. I should have ordered an XS, though, so they never made it on the trip with me and are going back. I'm 5'5", 118 pounds and the small was way too big, puffy and bunchy. Sadness.

I am not a huge fan of shorts, but I really like these. They are not constricting, they are great for running. They are a little short, so if you're doing lunges, squats, etc., they do ride up, but the inner liner keeps you decent.

Comfy short for working out. I will definitely order a smaller size next time as they are oversized.

Comfy and does not ride up. Has a small key pocket, which is convenient. I have the red pair of shorts and the downside is it is really obvious when it gets wet.

These shorts are great for non-running workouts, but unless you have a thigh gap, they will ride up mercilessly during runs. Even during walks I have to yank them down occasionally. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the saggy diaper look of these shorts. They're just not terribly flattering. But they're cheap, and comfortable for non-running workouts, so for me, that makes them worth buying. My favorite shorts for running are the Go Longer shorts from Skirt Sports - they are a little pricier, but they absolutely do not ride up!

These are really comfortable, true to size, good length for me at 5'9". They do wrinkle.

I wanted to love these, and ordered them based on the reviews. They fit me terribly, though! I'm 5'5", 130 lbs and got the small. The waistband was digging into my hips and the rise seemed too high somehow as it was all up in my business! I have no idea what went wrong, maybe I just have the wrong body type but running shorts like these usually work out fine but these were not a winner for me. Based on all the great reviews, I'm assuming it's a fluke so I would suggest taking advantage of Zappos free shipping both ways to try them out for yourself.

I would like to first say that the material of this short is very silky and comfortable, and I really do like the way that they feel. Unfortunately, they are not very flattering as they create a sort of "bulge" in front in the crotch area instead of laying flat and smooth. They also dig in to my sides a bit, creating a very unflattering muffin top. Additionally, since they have underwear/lining sewn in, you can't really adjust where they sit on your hips/waist. Unfortunately for me these don't look good at all, but I will say that they are a better length than the minuscule inseams running shorts have taken on over the years. They also come in tons of different colors and are roomy in the leg fit. Sad they didn't work for me.

Yuck. These are made of that crinkly, show every wrinkle, material. In the picture they look like they're the smooth mesh and these are definitely not. Awful. And the interior, sewn-in, underwear-like lining? Gross. I like the drawstring and that's the only good thing I can say.

I've been running for many years and have tried many pairs of shorts. Since these are so highly rated and I'm such a huge fan of the Nike Dash 3' shorts (that have been discontinued), I gave them a chance. The material is so awkward and it does not fit me properly at all. I usually wear a medium with no problem, and there was so much extra material in the front that it was extremely unflattering. I would never recommend these shorts to anybody.
