These boots are perfect for what I'm looking for- comfortable, supportive, classic boots for skinny calves! I have spent the last few years searching and my pencil thin calves look ridiculous in most boots. These are so comfortable and I've already gotten tons of compliments. I wasn't sure whether to size down so I ordered both sizes and I went with my usual size since the size down felt a little tight around the toe box area, and it doesn't seem like that's an area that stretches. They do look chunky around my narrow feet and skinny calves but can't beat the comfort and durability. I'm tired of wearing boots out since I do a lot of walking around the city and these seem like they will last.

I got these boots quickly and absolutely love them. They are perfect for my thin calves. Finally boots for thin legs. They hug my legs nicely, not too wide. They do run half a size large so 7½ was perfect for my size 8 feet and they are cushioned inside for great comfort. They are well worth the money. I will have this classic style boot for a very long time!

I saw these boots last year and have been obsessing over them so I finally bought them. I don't why I waited so long! Right when I saw them in the box I was in love! And when I put them on I fell more in love. These are my first Frye boots and I chose right for my first pair because there will definitely be more Frye boots in my future. I bought Jenna in redwood, it's such a beautiful color. I read other reviews before I decided on which size I should get I normally wear a size 11 if I'm lucky sometimes a size 10, since previous reviews said it runs big I decided to by the size 10 and they fit me perfectly all the way up over my calf. I'm 5'8 and my calves are 13.25in so these boots fit my legs perfectly with skinny jeans and without. I can't wait to wear these out. If you are on the fence about the price, remember these will last a lifetime, just buy them - you only live once. Zappos excellent shipping service.

Really like this boot! The fit is somewhat similar to the Frye Campus style. It is a little wider and longer than most Frye styles. At least in my opinion. The leather is really nice. I don't think my calves are that thin, but had no trouble wearing these over my jeans. Didn't really see the need for the zipper, but when trying to take them off, figured out why there is one! I didn't unzip to slip them on. Anyway, over all these are some really nice straight up riding boot with a classic overall style. I don't see them going out of style anytime soon. Enjoy!

I love these Frye Jenna boots. I have the Campus boots but these are so much better. I am petite and these seem less bulky and the calf area is nice and snug. I wear a size 6 in other brands but this boot runs 1/2 a size large so the 5.5 is perfect. May not be a good fit for those with wide feet. I will enjoy these for many years! Thanks!

Lovely boot -- very comfortable right out of the box, with good leather that's not too thin. I've walked all over the city in them, and have been perfectly comfortable. The top of the boot is snug, as previous reviewers mentioned, and I can squeeze leggings into them, but not jeans. My calves are exactly 14 inches around. They look great with skirts. They're not fitted around the ankles, but it doesn't look bad despite my short height (I'm 5'3").

Love! This is my first pair of Frye boots. Thanks to everyone for their reviews. My first attempt was the Paige, but those were a little tall for my legs. I also needed just a bit more heel. The Jenna is perfect for me. Tan is a gorgeous color! Runs just a tab big, but that is good in a tall boot. I was worried about shaft size, but these went over my skinny jeans right out of the box. The heel is great. I'm sure I'll be able to walk in these for hours. I can't wait to wear them out! I'm sure this will not be my last pair of Frye boots!

This is my 3rd return of Frye Jenna Inside Zip. The dark brown color of this boots didn't look as good. the fits in this boots run a little looser than the one in smoke. Get the smoke color in this boot style.

I just received these today and have worn them around the house and love them. They fit my legs perfectly - I'm 5'2" and have a 13.5 inch calf circumference. I tried on skinny jeans and they stretch to accommodate the jeans. I also ordered 1 size down from my usual, a 7, and got the 6. They are a little snug but I know they will stretch out over time. I love these and will be wearing them as soon as the weather changes. They are worth the price. The leather is gorgeous and the heel is very sturdy. Also they are a little hard to get on and off but the pulls on the top and the half inside zipper makes it much easier.

I love this boot! Glad I read the reviews before buying, it does run a 1/2 size big, the calf area fits great, worth every penny, highly recommend!

Great quality boot (the leather is beautiful) but the heel is chunkier than I like. They feel less like a riding boot and more like a cowboy boot on the bottom. I have skinny calves though and this was one of the only ones I could find that was slimmer-ish around your calves (but still not ideal). Anyway, definitely a great quality boot.

Boots are adorable. But if you have "normal" to large calves, this boot isn't for you. The shaft is very narrow. Read the other reviews.

Zappos customer services was awesome. Unfortunately, I have to return these again for the second time on the same style. I love the Smoke color of Frye Jenna Inside Zip. They fit very snuggly around the calves. I am 5'3" tall and usually either 8 or 8½. I tried both sizes and had to return both. Although, for the second pair it was because of several defects on one of the boots. All in all; it was the customer service that I am willing to continue to try again with Zappos.
