Fit is true to size. Very nice quality looking leather upper makes this shoe very attractive. The rounded toe adds a bit of fun to an otherwise serious looking shoe style.

Gorgeous but my usual trusty size 8 was easily 1.5 sizes too small.

Love the look of these, and they were soft and seemed they'd be so comfortable -- I wanted them to fit, but they didn't work with my custom orthotic. The footbed isn't removable so there wasn't enough room for them and my foot. Additionally, they seemed smaller than my other FS in the same size. I ordered 10.5N.

I tried both this shoe and the Carolynn. They are both lovely shoes. Carolynn has more personality but this one is very nice too. I have a bunion and I just don't feel confident the toe box is big enough so I'm sending these back. Otherwise, I ordered my normal size and it seems right.

I really love the way these shoes look - even more in person. Unfortunately, they did not fit me well. They were not wide enough and my foot slipped out at the heel. Bummer.

I bought this shoe in three different options and was not able to get a fit. I have worn this style of Sarto loafer for years and have a pair in plain leather in black, navy and brown. The black is the oldest and although the shoe is in good shape the lining has been falling apart so I decided to get a new pair. I noted the metallic black and ordered that in 9M which is the size of the previous 3 pairs. However the metallic was narrow across the instep and felt a bit smaller and tight on my foot. I ordered in a 9 1/2 wide and it was swimming on me. So I ordered it in a 9 wide and it was almost right but the wide wasn't only wider in the instep, it was also wider in the heel, which made it slip off my foot when I walked a bit. So all three pairs went back to my disappointment. It was a beautiful patent and so versatile. Just be aware that the patent may be narrower across the instep and will not stretch like leather. I will probably eventually just order it again in the black plain leather.

Comfortable, a little different looking

These fit as expected; its a pretty stiff shoe, but in a good way...I feel like these things will last for years. I believe they will break in nice though. I would suggest buying a very thin shoe insert for a little bit of cushion.

I have ordered these before and love something about them but they're never quite right for me. A beautiful shoe but a bit masculine and clunky and difficult to get on due to long top.

I have ordered these shoes a few times to wear with my uniform with my pants. Also I enjoy them as a nice pair of loafers to wear with jeans that spruces up my outfit. They are very comfortable. My only complaint is over time where the shoe creases it start to crack the patent leather.

Love them! Comfortable, sturdy and nerdy cute. They look great with skinny jeans.

I am on my 3rd or 4th pair of black and now have then in brown as well. Huge comfort, wear all day and walk all day no problem. I LOVE these shoes. They look great w/jeans, dress pants and I've even worn them with tights and a skirt. Never discontinue these!

These shoes are super comfortable but lack in style. A co-worker described them as tuxedo shoes. Great for days when I need to substitute comfort for style.

This is my third pair of these shoe and unfortunately these do not fit the same way my others did. They seem too tight in the width and the bridge of my foot. Hopefully with time they will stretch.

Great fit out of the box. Had to replace favorite loafer and this is definitely the right choice. Wide enough toe box for the post-bunionectomy foot and rigid big toe. Looks great with dress pants.

This is a nice looking shoe to wear to work or with a suit. I usually wear a 9.5, but for this shoe, I had to get a 9.0. It is fairly comfortable, but I wouldn't want to be on my feet all day. They are not as cushy as Merrell loafers.

I'm pretty pleased with this shoe. I have high arches, so slip-on shoes are not always an option. This shoe is a little tight at the top of my foot, but it will clearly become more comfortable the more I wear it. I am also going to use shoe trees to prevent creasing. Simple, classic styling and comfort makes this a great work shoe.

This is a classic loafer. It does slip off the foot, so you need inserts and possibly heel cushions. The sole is a little heavy. These look nice with slacks. If you are a person who does not like to wear heels, or those narrow "girlie" shoes, then this shoe might be your style. I feel they are pretty durable. I wear them 2-3 days a week. So far I am happy with them.

These shoes are nice in appearance, and quality and true to size. I ordered the size 10.5 for extra space, but returned them for a size 10. The size 10 fits better, but my feet still slide around in them, making them very uncomfortable for walking even short distances. That said, nice shoes, just didn\'t fit my feet well.
