I wanna thank the ladies who recommended going up a size. A half size probably would be perfect, however if I had gotten my true size 8 my smallest toes would most likely hang over the edge of the shoe. The distance from my toes to the front edge is perfect with about 1/8" extra length from heel to back edge. I can live with that... As far as comfort, my bone spurs just spring off the base of this shoe "pain free" when I step. I will enjoy wearing these stylish cutie petuties this summer.

I should have listened to previous reviews. These shoes run very small. I have a small foot (wear women’s size 4). The size 4 in these sandals is probably a size 2 ½ - 3. My foot was hanging over the end of the shoe. Not sure if I will order again (larger size), because I also feel the material and construction of these sandals is not worth the price. The little diamond studding on the strap was already starting to “lift up” at the one end (seemed flimsy).

I love, love, love these shoes. I had the same ones for about three years and wore them constantly. They look equally as good with shorts and dresses. They tore at the insertion between the toes eventually, and I couldn't find them again for a while. When I found them again, I snatched them up, but they tore immediately at the same site. I have returned and rebought them several times after immediately tearing at the same site. IDK what happened. Did they start making them more cheaply? I have looked everywhere for a similar style, black with crystals and short heel to no avail. I guess I'm gonna try again based on first experience.

I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and I loved them! When they broke, I was so excited to have found them again. But they run small! I already sized up for my old ones, and these are even smaller. I don't really get it. I normally wear an 8 and am debating getting a 10. I held the old ones up to the new ones and they were different in length and width! Weird.

I adore these but there is no way they are size 12! Seriously! They were even a bit short on my daughter who wears size 11. I hate to send them back, but I'm not keeping a pair of expensive sandals that are too short.

I have loved Athena Alexander shoes as a summer staple,especially for those of us with narrow feet. This style is my least favorite of hers. I find the toe thing uncomfortable and the shoe is curved a lot..it just feels weird. I will keep trying her other styles though. Auretha Callison, Soul Stylist.

This shoe was very cute; however, I had to return them because of the fit. They cross very low on the foot and because of that they are difficult to keep on while walking.

Have bought this shoe before and it fit great. They must have changed their style somewhat, does not fit the same any more, toe area now too wide. Can't keep on.

The shoe fits well and is easy to walk in, but the way the rhinestones are applied looks cheap. I needed them for in event the day they arrived so I kept them. Otherwise I would have returned them.

Love the shoe, but it's too small. My heels hung over the back of the shoe. I've never had this problem before. I wear a 7 in everything. Oh well.

Sizing is way way off. Based on other reviews I ordered a full size larger then I normally wear (and which I wore in this same shoe last year) and could barely squeeze it on.

Way too small

I have not had these shoes 30 days and they already broke between the toe on the right shoe. Other than that I love the shoes.

I first bought these shoes in 2011 and they were perfect. They go with so many outfits and they're super cute and comfortable. I've gotten lots of compliments on them over the years. They've been wearing out, so I was happy to see they're still being made and I bought a new pair. Unfortunately, it seems the manufacturer has cheaped out on materials and quality control since I bought my last pair. The straps are now made of a more flimsy, stretchy material and are much too loose, especially for those with slender feet (me). On TWO pairs I ordered and tried, the straps on the right shoe were looser than the left. The toe posts are also awkwardly further forward now than they used to be. So disappointing. I returned them and will not be repurchasing this style.

This is a nice slipper but I have to give a 1 star because it only last for one day. I bought it for my aunt and I was very disappointed that the straps break in wearing it only once. For such a high cost it's not good!

Beware...these are attractive, comfortable shoes but 1. They are heavy. And the 4th or 5th time I wore mine (different color, purchased in 2012) the toe string detached from the shoe! Yup, and I was standing still when it happened. My foot went sliding forward onto the ground. Luckily (because they are so heavy) I had a spare pair of flip flops in my bag. I put on my flip flops and dropped these shoes in the trash. Very disappointing.
