So, i purchased these to wear at the gym- when i put them on the first time my friends and i noticed the appearance of the shoe is a shiny surface- not a mesh style weave of some kind of material that looks like it breathes with the foot, but almost has the look of a corrective shoe- a smooth almost shiny leather upper and all exposed sides- in addition - the very blunt nose looks a great deal like the corrective shoes from a few decades ago, clunky and utilitarian- this is clearly not a fitness shoe or even a walking shoe designed to appear contemporary, let alone somewhat fashionable- it is, as all vionic shoes are, comfortable to stand and work out in for many hours. day- but it is a shoe i would never wear if out in public or as a casual shoe. - the design team really did a bad job on this one and should go back to the drawing board or consult almost any athletics shoe store to understand how a contemporary look and design could be achieved without screaming to all who see your shoes that you are wearing orthopedic shoes.

Run very small. Tried to break them in but feet were sore after wearing them for 4 hours per day for 5 days

I have been under care by my podiatrist for 4 months now for plantar fasciitis. Things are starting to improve. I was advised by several family members who have similar problems with their feet to purchase the vionic inserts as well as the vionic Walker shoe which I did. I must say that I have been wearing them for several months now but each time I do my foot with the planter problem feels worse the next day and is very painful. I seem to have better results when I wear my New Balance 840 series sneakers with inserts purchased at my Podiatrist"s office. I am not giving up on vionics shoes just yet.

I was disappointed because they do not have the same level of arch support that my Vionic sandals have. I have to find additional arch support to use with them, otherwise they will be unwearable

Like the shoe and was hoping wide size would provide adequate room for toes. Unfortunately, the shoe is narrow in the toe area, so I returned them.

Be careful with sizing. I wear mens size 11. When the shoes came they didn't fit so I returned them and got size 11.5. Unfortunately these were too small also. The return process was very easy.

This shoe was very tight across the instep and toe box. It even looked small right out of the box. Have to return

I normally wear a size 12 in Rebook or Nike and have a bit of room, so I ordered a size 13W based on the feedback from this site, but unfortunately, they are even smaller than a 12 and felt very narrow. I wore them for two days to try and stretch them, but just can't wear them. I do like the style for sure and color, just beware of the size

I always purchase size 12 M for my husband, so that’s what I ordered in this walking shoe. They were short on his foot and also very tight. The style was nice and probably would have been comfortable for him if I could have purchased the right size. Size 12.5 was not available in this shoe so I had to return it. He chose a Skechers walking shoe instead and they fit well.

I had to return the shoes since they were too small. I usually use 13 wide in other brands, but my toes were definitely squeezed into these Vionic walkers. Since they didn't have 14s in stock, I couldn't do an exchange. Too bad.

First pair, a size 10, were too small and returned. The 10 1/2 replacement is slightly large. Dr Scholls insert helped. Don't love the shoe, but gives me the side support I need.

Unfortunately, not able to use in a restaurant kitchen. Much too slippery. Very disappointed after paying so much for a pair of work shoes.

The first pair I ordered were too small and too narrow. I normally wear 11 medium in any other shoe. I exchanged these for 11.5 wide and I can't tell that there is a size difference. The shoes are still narrow and not quite the right length.

Great feel to the sneakers excellent arch support I have purchased several different styles all had the same issue the tops pull away from the sole - the glue does not hold up . the soles last long and they are comfortable needs a different way of attaching the sole - I really do not use them hard enough to explain the failure of the glue.

Exchanging for bigger size which is nuts...These, as most Vionic closed shoes, run quite small. Love the green suede for fall

Great looking shoes. My proper fit is a 12 wide and as a long time user of vionic insoles was anxious to try these. My concern is that despite being a 12 wide they fit snug in the toe box. I'm hopeful that after a break-in period they will be more comfortable.

Ordered same size as other Vionics. Too small. Will order up 1/2 size. The tongue on this shoe has much more padding than his previous walkers but they seem comfy with the great arch support.

I purchased a couple of Vionic dress shoes and was very impressed with the arch support fit and comfort of the shoes. I purchased the Men's Classic Walker because I needed a casual walking shoe to exercise in. However for me the Men's Classic Walker was about 1/2 size smaller than expected and doesn't supply the comfort I have come to expect from Viconic. The arch support was a little light and doesn't provide as much support for my plantar fasciitis as I hoped. The construction of the shoe and the quality of the shoe are top notch. My expectation may have been a little too high! The shoe is a good value otherwise.

Bought a 9-1/2 wide (2e) and they fit tight in width more so than length. They are harder on the feet than I had imagined they would be and I feel the slope of the sole (high to low at toe) more than in other sneaker footwear. This may be less apparent in time as I put greater weight on the heel. Hope they widen too. I'm keeping them as they don't hurt my arthritic toe but I wish they were cushier and a little wider.

My husband loves this brand, but he said this pair didn’t fit him well. We sent them back. He would prefer a more dressy style but he needs the Vionic comfort that his other pair has due to plantar faciatis and RA.

I got these shoes because they advertise themselves as good for plantar fasciitis. I usually wear an 11 medium, but went up to an 11.5M for this shoe because review said it ran small.. The length was right, but the toe box was too narrow. I guess I could try an 11.5W, but I get a more comfortable fit from Brooks and Orthoheel shoes, both of which are good for plantar fasciitis, so I'm going to stick with them.
