I love these jeans. If you have the tummy issues (no waist) and are sick of wearing huge jeans to compensate these jeans are perfect!

It's about time a jean company realized that not all women have full hips and thighs to match a full waist. These jeans are great. However, I found that the dark color runs smaller. For example, the 18 in the light color was too big and the 16 in the dark color was too small. I ended up keeping the 18 in the dark color and a 16 in the light color.

Well I have a 42 inch waist and 44 inch hips, and finally found my perfect fit in the 16W. These were the light jeans. The size chart did not help at all! Maybe this will give someone a starting point to get the right size the first time.

I love Levi's for making these jeans that fit middle aged middle sectioned women. I feel normal instead of like something's wrong with my body. Thank you thank you thank you.

Finally jeans that fit my apple shape! If you a plus size female with a classic apple shape, you must buy these. The rise is shorter for those with little to no butt, which means they do not sag, like most plus sized jeans do, and they do not have excess material at the hip seam, for the classic apple. The cut fits beautifully, like a glove. They washed well, shrunk a little, but was hoping they would. I purchased the darker color (Oceania?) which looks great on and for casual day at work. The length and flare of the bootcut are perfect. This is my first pair of these jeans, it will not be my last.

Great jeans for ladies with "apple" shapes. Very light fading over the front of the thighs, which looks to elongate your legs. You may need to order a size down.

Great fit for me! I just got them today, took them out the box, put them on and they fit like a glove! I am a solid 16 in the legs but closer to an 18 in the waist. Plus size or junior size, I have always struggled with jeans that get baggy in the butt and thighs in order to fit at the waist or tight in the waist to fit my legs and butt. These jeans are built to accommodate the thicker waist so that the jeans fit in the thighs and butt as well as the waist. What a concept! I wore the Levi's 545's in the junior's size and have not found a comparable style in the plus sizes until now. They do have a nice amount of stretch in the material so even though they have a snug fit right now, they are still very comfortable. If they stretch out of shape when I wear them, I will definitely return to my review to report that!

These are my new fav jeans. I am apple shaped, rounder in the middle, and these fit great. I now have 5 pairs.

Ok, I am a total apple shape. I have the hardest time with jeans. They are always too tight in the waist and then baggy in the rear and legs. These jeans are super cute with the flap pockets and I bought the dark color but they just don't fit me right. The stretch out in the stomach so I look even bigger around the middle. I must just have an odd shape. For me, the only jeans I can buy are from Lane Bryant but I love Levis so I thought I would try. All that being said they are very cute jeans. Just didn't fit my apple shape.

Okay, I have 3 pairs of these: the light blue, the dark wash with the worn-off parts (both of these styles have the non-traditional back pockets) and the mid-range blue wash with the traditional Levi's pocket. The mid-range with traditional pockets definitely seem a size smaller than the other two pair (but they'll be fine once I lose 5lbs or while wearing Spanx). The two pair with the flap thingy on the pockets are the best jeans ever! And the light-blue ones are THE MOST COMFORTABLE JEANS I'VE EVER HAD. Seriously - they are lightweight denim and are as comfy as flannel pajama pants. I come home from work and put them on INSTEAD of pajamas. If you are APPLE-SHAPED, these are the jeans for you. Other plus-size pants and jeans always fit me weird and too tight in the waist and way too loose in the butt and legs. But these are perfect. Thanks, Levis!

I'm 5'1.5" 245lbs...thick thighs, heavy back side and some stomach, smaller waist...African American woman. I bought a 22. They fit perfectly. Not too tight but not too loose. Due to my height I took them to seamstress and had them hemmed in an hour for the cost. Overall, excellent fit for heel or loafer. Catered for a Friday office look with button down shirt if you are looking for that.

I have been on a years-long quest for the perfect jeans, and had nearly given up. As an apple-shape with very straight hips and a comically short rise, I was always facing the choice between too-tight waists or too-baggy-everywhere-elses, and I was forever hitching at my pants to combat crotch-wrinkle (affectionately known around my house as "polter-wang"). In fact, I was on the verge of just paying someone to make me custom jeans when I stumbled upon these and decided to give them a try (secretly believing I would just have to send them right back). I was delighted to find that these are as close to custom-fit as I've ever found in a pair of jeans. I was concerned that the "fuller-waist" might just mean they were cut smaller in the hips instead of cut larger in the waist and that I might have to go a size up to get a pair that fit, but I was wrong - they fit perfectly in the waist in my normal size. I bought the Oceana with the short inseam, and the legs are the perfect length on a 5'6" long-waisted gal (although the rise is still a bit too long for me, although not enough to be a problem). I just ordered the Blue Dusk and can't wait to get them. I am in love with these jeans!

They fit! my measurements are Waist=38, hips=48, I'm 5' 3" and I bought a 16W Short. my waist is not as full as I thought it was, because these are lose in the back. However, they are perfect in the front, no muffin top! So, I'll be keeping these. The length was perfect for me, just right. I'm going to buy a pair of the defined waist next to see how those fit.

Not thrilled, the boot cut opening is very wide and looks odd with flats. I may have them altered into cropped jeans to wear for the spring.

Bought the dark wash (Oceania/Pickstitch), short inseam -- the denim fabric is more old school (stiffer/bluer) than comparable jeans, with good drape. Definitely not bell-bottoms (trust me, I wore these back in the 70's!), but the boot cut does fall from the knees rather than a more tapered thigh and calf. Excellent length (~31" rather than stated 30") and mid-rise waist. Love the pockets -- the "flap" is faux (sewn to the pocket itself) so the back pockets are usable without unbuttoning. Good fit for straight hipped apple-shapes, and good value for quality of the jeans vs price. Needed to size up (16W vs my usual 14W) in this brand. If Jag Jeans work for you, these are a good comparable fit at a better price point.

These are it! Very stylish. I have large waist and these were perfect. I wear 18, but the 18W got too large after wearing for about 1 hour. Could not return it as I had removed tags and washed it already. They stretch a lot after wearing and they were falling down on me. So I ordered the 16W and it was a bit tight at first, but then perfect after an hour. I only wear bootcut and flare jeans and it is hard to find nice ones that are large enough for my waist and not too long. These are it! And of course, I totally LOVE ZAPPOS

I love these jeans; they're the perfect cut for an apple shape. They're comfortable, they look great out and I didn't have the usual giant muffin top boiling over the waistband.

Yes, I would buy these again, but drop down a size and go with regular length. I saw the inseam length, and at 5'5 I'm on the border of short and regular. With 33 inch inseam I went with the short. I was wrong, now I have cold ankles. Also these have enough stretch I suggest buying a size down. I wish the material was softer, but they were as expected at this price.

Ah! I wanted to love these so much! I saw them and was like "Hot dang, I love that wash on those jeans! And yay bootcut!" However, I pulled them out of the Zappos box (which is like Christmas morning when it arrives) and unfortunately I knew. I just knew the bottoms weren't going to make the cut. The wash was awesome as I had seen, and they fit my derriere perfectly and right on through the thighs. This is all important cause sometimes plus sized jeans have the tendency to make you look like you're swimming through the sea of denim, so much material! However when I looked past my knees it was like bell bottom hell. Who at the Levi factory was in charge of labeling these as "boot-cut". Yer fired! These are bell bottoms. No doubt about it. If that's what you dig then groovy cause these should be right up your alley. But if you're looking for true boot-cut jeans these aren't the jeans you're looking for.

I normally wear a 18w but, these were way too tight! Unfortunatley I had to send them back. Love the free shipping both ways from Zappos, too!

Love the fit of the jeans. I've been wearing Levis for years - used to wear the old 550's. My only complaint is that I wish I could find a good pair of 100% cotton jeans. But these jeans fit great in the hip and thigh area. They do have some stretch and don't stretch out during the day. I order a short or petite length and do still have to hem the jeans (I wear a 27" inseam). Overall, I love these jeans and have purchased a few pairs from Zappos!

The best new jeans I could imagine getting! No elastic waistband. They are normal jeans like I used to wear. They look and feel great. I need to shorten them, but who cares. I HAVE NORMAL JEANS AGAIN!

I LOVE THEM!! The reviews I read said the size ran big so I got one size down and it fits great! I'm also 5'7 and they aren't to short either! I have nothing but good things to say!

I love these jeans! The waist is bigger so I could buy the size that actually fits my legs too. I would definitely recommend these and will probably buy myself another pair!
