My wardrobe was looking shabby so I worked with a stylist at a large department store to de-frump me. She sold me a couple pairs of $200 jeans that were apparently hand-made by unicorns and can only be washed once a month (before midnight). It's beyond me why jeans would cost so much but I knew I needed to find a cheaper alternative. Based on the positive reviews of these Levi's leggings here on Zappos, I bought 3 pair and then another 2 pair. I have them in every color and I absolutely love them. They hold their shape, fit well (I'm a size 6) and they are every bit as stylish as the expensive jeans that I wish I hadn't bought. My favorite color is the Deep Night, which is almost indistinguishable from the Black. The Silver Smoke is a great color, perhaps the fit is a little tighter on those. To be honest, I haven't worn the Black or Soft Glow yet so I can't comment on those (other than to say that they look nice folded). Wish they were a little shorter (I'm 5'3" and usually have a 29" inseam). I roll them up a tiny bit before putting boots on. I may get them hemmed to wear with flats (I don't like the bunched up look at the ankle). The sale price is outstanding but even at full price, these are worth every cent.

Love these leggings! (Jeans?) The best part is, I'm someone's mom and it hides that one part that all of us mothers know and love (okay, not really). Yes, I'm speaking of the muffin top...scary stuff. Anyway, these jeans are rad! You should buy them, wear them...tell your friends!

I absolutely love these but I had to exchange them for a size larger. I am normally a size 4, but got a size 6 instead. They are a bit snug and stretch really well, but I felt a lot more comfortable in the 6.

Buying jeans with legs that fit has become nearly impossible at age 67, when all my former hip and thigh padding has migrated to my midsection! At 5'9" and a bit heavier than the doctors say I should be, I find that jeans that accommodate my new "waist" (i.e. no waist, no hips, no butt) have pant legs that flap in the breeze, even when they are called "skinny jeans". Amazingly, these leggings fit like skinny jeans and look great with boots of all kinds. They have nice give in the waist (comfy -- also rare) but still fit almost snugly elsewhere. This is the first time I have ever ordered jeans online and can't thank Zappos enough! I have just ordered two more pairs and wish they came in more colors!

I tried both these jeggings and the other Levis five pocket version. If you are very curvy like me, this version with the slightly higher rise in the back works better (in the five pocket Levis, the back waistband barely came to the top of my bottom, and that was when I was standing up). They are true to size in 14, length was perfect for me (I am 5'6"), great quality, and it is a flattering fit. I could not be more comfortable. They look like skinny jeans but are far more comfortable. Overall these are a great purchase and great value. I bought the light wash and will be coming back for the dark one, both perfect to wear with my fall tunic tops and boots.

Perfect fit everywhere except maybe a little loose at the waist (that may resolve after washing) and the "Lake View" color is not as blue blue as pictured but more a natural, slightly faded jeans color, thank goodness.

I love these leggings! They are made from a heavier denim than most others. They fit to size and don't stretch out very much while you are wearing them. The functional front pockets, while not very deep, still hold my iPhone without my needing to worry about it falling out. It has the metal zipper that you would expect on a Levi jean. Nothing flimsy about it. The length is perfect for me (I am 5'3") and they work well with anything that you wear on you're feet. I also got them in black in the same size. I read the reviews on the black version and they are correct: the black leggings are a tiny bit larger. I found this difference to make them even more comfortable to wear, despite the slight stretch that you expect. I am curvy and these leggings make you look fabulous. If you want a pair of denim leggings that will fit comfortably, look great and not feel flimsy, these are a terrific choice.

So, I was worried that these are not age appropriate. I am 43, and athletic. I am 5'3" and 135 pounds. I ordered these in a size 8 and 10. The 10 fit great! They feel so amazing on, now I know why everybody wears them. Anyway, I bought them so I could tuck them in my Jane Frye boots (so super fab a 25 year old man (okay! boy!) stopped me and said, "Wow! What great boots." I have been wearing them with skirts, but I needed to wear them more. So, I bought these so they would fit it the boots. I then tried them on for my friend and her husband and asked them if they were okay. I didn't want to look at women in my 40's in a midlife crisis looking like a wanna be college girl. They assured me that they were appropriate, looked great and Wow! So, I kept them. I am telling you what, they are so comfortable - oh yeah, I already said that!

These are very comfy. Just the right amount of stretch so that they fit more like leggings but are still flattering. I only wish they were a little bit higher rise, as these slip down my hips during the day so I have to do a bit of hitching them up. I am 5'6 and 135lbs and got a size 8 and that's right.

Finally a legging jean that a) don't look like cotton saturated tights, b) feel and look like denim but stretch just enough to fit you like a glove, c) don't stretch out to a whole size bigger in the middle of your day, making you want to shrink them in your dryer!, d) have actual pockets in the front (they are tiny but thank god for them!) and e) they are fitted through the ankles which make them great to tuck into boots. Buy these! The "worth framing" color is great too. Not too distressed and faded.

I have not taken these off since buying them, only to wash. No shrinkage from drying either. Fits like a glove.

Fabulous! Fit somewhere between a skinny jean a and a legging. I wear an 8 or 10 and chose the 10, a perfect fit. I'm 5'9" and the length was fine, not bunched up but not too short. I paired it with a pair of Minnetonka fringed boots and feel like I'm 18 again. Well almost.

Love these leggings/jeans! Like others have noted the Black runs larger than the other colors. I normally wear size 6, which fit well in Black for me, but I sized up to size 8 for the Blue pair which feel much better than the size felt - like a stuffed sausage! So go up a size except for Black.

I know they're called leggings, but they're really 'Jeans' that look like leggings. With a heavy duty button close, a substantial zipper & working pockets all the way around. I read that these ran small? Not for me. I usually wear size 8 & these were perfect. Even a tad roomy, which I may appreciate after my corned beef dinner for St. Patty's Day! Material is nice but not as soft as I hoped for. Hopefully they'll soften up through the washings. The fit is superb. No ride-up or gapping at the waist. The rise is just right too. Sits just below my navel and hugs my curves without any muffin effect. These are keepers! I hope Zappos can get some in other colors (a medium blue wash would be great) and I'll buy more!

I wore these today at work for Casual Friday with some high heel boots. Normally I would never consider wearing skinny jeans as I'm definitely not skinny. More like an "average" middle aged mom of two. I'm 5'6" and the length was perfect. There was no gap in the back at the waist. The best part is that they didn't stretch out of shape all day. Very comfortable.

I've been getting more and more into expensive jeans, thinking I would get better quality. Not so. These leggings/jeans are the best skinny jeans ever. They fit well, wash well, hold their shape and the price is almost unbelievable. I'm online today to order more and will be researching Levis' other jeans as well. I'm tired of NYDJ & Joes, Free P., etc that bag out after a couple of hours - those manufacturers could learn a lot from Levi.

The best jeans ever. I have a similar pair of juniors Levi's "leggings" but the sizing is so off. The size 7 is too small, and the size 9 stretches out and is way too large. These jeans are perfect. I am 5'6, 135 pounds, and a size 8 is perfect.

These are everything I was hoping - super-skinny, super-stretchy jeans with actual fly and real pockets. I am an 8, 5'4", 140#, busty pear, and these look great.

I was a little skeptical about these. I was not too sure about leggings, having never worn them before. These are great! So comfortable. And I can wear them with a lot of tops and shoes. Highly recommend these leggings!

I am so comfortable, and they fit perfect! I have a hard time finding jeans that will fit my waist; they usually gape in the back. These are a perfect fit. I'm ordering more!

I love the fit and style of these. I'm a c-section mom and like the height of the waistband on these. I've found they stretch out during the day and need a belt (maybe I should have ordered a size down).

I think that this legging jeans are tight but with time I will get used to this fit! I have not washed them yet! I expect them to still fit.

Fit is perfect. I really consider these almost like straight leg jeans, just closer fitting in the leg. Perfect with flats or heels. Cute when you roll up the bottom into a cuff. I bought the black and the dark denim. I wear the black ones to work even when it's not dress down Friday. The material is excellent. Just like a pair of jeans just softer but not like those fake looking jegging things. I'm thinking about getting a white pair if they come in that color,and as always Zappos is quick efficient and just the best!

Love these jeans. They are skinny enough for my ankle boots and have a high waste. They also suck me in just right. I am 5' 7", 150 lb and wore a 10.

I love these jeans; I have them in four colors! I usually have trouble finding jeans that fit both my waist and thighs. If they fit my waist they are too tight in the thighs; if they fit my thighs they are way too big in the waist. But these fit great! I am 5'4" and 125 pounds and the size 6 fits.
