These jeans are pretty good. I like the color, the fabric is soft and comfy, and the fit overall isn't bad. They do stretch out from when you first put them on though, and maybe because I need to lose a few, the pockets don't lay flat. I've been thinking about sewing them shut. I do like the price point, and for everyday, around the house jeans, they work for me.

I have ordered other Levi jeans in a size 4 in varying styles, so I thought ordering a size 4 in these jeans would be the same. These are slightly tighter in the waist than all of my other Levi's. Levi's have a great fit and comfort, but I wish I would have ordered a size up. The black on black Levi's is a good solid look and goes with everything.

They look great on, and have a nice mid to high rise. Only downfall is they are quite stretchy and after wearing for an hour or so they look bad in the crotch area. As usual Zappos did a fabulous job with shipping.

This is a review for the Black Sateen color. I have the Levi's Mid Rise Skinny in a regular jean and I wanted a black jean. This fabric is not jean like. It is very much like a cotton sateen which is what the color is called. This runs a little bigger than my regular jean version so I had to size down. Great pair of pants - just not very jean like.

I LOVE these jeans, so here's why only 4 stars: As I'd read in other reviews of Levi's and there is nothing consistent about the jeans from pair to pair. I ordered two identical pairs (same size, same style, same color) because I already own one pair (same size, style, and color of those I ordered) that fits like an absolute dream. Jeans are impossible to find that fit me well, so I was going to load up! Of the 2 pairs I ordered, one fit well but was longer than my original pair, and the other was HUGE. Looking at the tags, my original pair was made in Pakistan, and the two from Zappos were made in China. So maybe country of manufacture has something to do with it? Who knows. For me, it's worth the hassle to return inconsistent pairs and wait for the great pairs because they fit SO DARN WELL. I mean, people have asked me before, "Where did you get those? That fit is great!" They're a "fitted" fit without being too tight, but they aren't baggy either. They're the Goldilocks of fit - just right! Mature without being frumpy; flattering without being painted on (I'm 27, not 16 or 65!). So if you're on the fence, I would go for it. Get a couple of different ones if you can, because if you find your magic fit it's worth it.

I love these jeans with one caveat - they stretch a LOT. I am between a six and eight and to be on the safe side, I ordered an eight. For about the first hour of wearing they are the bomb....then they stretch so much that they bag in the rear and legs and I have to keep hiking them up. They had enough potential, though, that I came back and ordered another pair in a six. And of course, everyone needs a pair of "fat day" jeans, so these are those for me, and I still feel good wearing them even on those days.

While I like these pants, I would never have ordered them if the photo had been accurate. There is bright white and silver embroidery on the back pockets. I don't care for that look; however, I have kept the jeans because the fit is so nice. Also, I am 5'4", size 4 and these jeans just hit the ankles -- they are almost too short. They are fine worn with tall boots but if you are going to pair them with flat shoes and you are any taller than me, you might be too short for you.

These are very flattering, comfortable jeans. They have some stretch in them but they do run a little small so if you are a borderline size then order the larger size. What I love about them is they have a very slim leg so they look fashionable, but not so tight that you have to peel them inside-out to remove them! I gave them four stars instead of five because I would have loved them to be an extra inch longer in the leg (I am 5'9"), but they will be fine with boots so it did not stop me from buying them.

I was disappointed by these jeans. From the other reviews, I hoped they'd be the answer to my quest for finding the perfect fit. Nope. They were way too small. I usually wear an 8, but these felt more like a 6. Sorry to return them. Also didn't like all the embroidery on the back pockets. But thank you Zappos for always being understanding!

I bought these as a gift for my mom. They fit perfect. Exactly true to size and were very flattering. If you are looking for a skinnier jean, this might not be it. They were a little roomier in the thigh and calf than they look in the picture.

Good value for modern skinny jean that fits well even if you're not stick thin. Less stretch than many brands.

It is a overall a nice jean. I got a blue one in size 10. The thing is it got bigger after I washed it. Then it lost the tight look I wanted. Since I cannot return it anymore I bought another one in black in size 8 and found that it is 99% cotton, unlike the blue which is around 70% cotton only. And the black one doesn't get larger after wash. I really like the shape but right now I'm not wearing either because one is too big and the other is too small.

Not skinny jeans. Initially fit like the picture. These run large and are so stretchy you can go down a size if you like a smooth fit. Hoping these would replace my fav 'perfect waist' style, which seem to be phased out. (Why?! Perfect is perfect.) Anyway, give these a try. They are thick and will last, but will be used for working, not looks because of the stretching out quickly.

Liked the color of these jeans, and they are comfortable, despite the waist being just a little two low for my liking. But, I would say they were more like straight legs than skinny. And they do have a tendency to stretch out quickly. Nice pair of jeans, just not great.

The perfect pair of "skinny" jeans for 30 something mother of two. They do begin to stretch out after one day, and I like to wear my jeans for 2-3 days before washing. They are slimming and comfortable.

I'm not sure that the skinny jean look is for everybody. The thing I love about these is the bit of stretch, you hardly know that they are there. I am 5'5", 127 pounds and ordered sizes 8 and 6. The 8 was way too big, so I sent them back. I kept the 6 to wear with boots and they work well, but they do stretch in the waist area. Not in the calf area, however. I have sturdy calves and if I am not wearing the boots, I have to lean over and push the pants down over my calves when I stand up. It is sort of funny if you do not care so much about those things!

Love 'em. Post baby and over 40, low rise jut isn't working for me. These are comfortable and keep me decent without looking like mom jeans. Pretty rad. And not spendy either! I'd give them a 5 if the wash was a teeny bit less generic.

I bought these jeans in a size 10. They fit great but the knee down is more baggy than I thought they would be. I bought these to wear under boots and they fit inside my boots but after a day of wearing they start to bag a lot around the knee. So sadly they aren't the perfect jean for wearing under boots. I will keep them though. They will be cute with flats.

These jeans fit true to size and are very comfortable. I'm 5'8" and would have preferred them to be longer, but since I always wear them with boots, length is less of an issue.

These jeans are on the baggy side. Not really a true skinny jean, but they will work for me because I got them for farm work, so they will be good for that. Good weight to the fabric and there's just enough stretch and back seat/waist coverage so I wont display more than I care to during all my chores and they will be comfortable. I am petite, size 27 waist, 120 lbs. Got the size 6 short. They fit perfect in the waist (the waist does cinch in a bit, like a curvy fit), and a little baggy throughout with a kind of tapered leg. Not a straight and thin skinny. The legs are skinny enough to tuck into muck boots, and they are flattering, but they aren't fashion skinny jeans if that's what you're looking for. I got the night storm and they seem all over darker than the picture.

These are great jeans and comfy, not too "skinny" and look great on a chunky figure like mine.

Pretty decent jeans for the price! I don't normally wear Levi's (Hudsons are my absolute favorite), but I wanted to have something more affordable right after having a baby while I "worked" on getting my pre-baby figure back. Needless to say, I'm still wearing these currently (losing baby weight is easier said than done). I'm 5'8" and they are almost a little too short, I'm afraid of putting them in the drying in fear of them getting shorter, and they actually do feel a little tight around the waist where they do seem to fit everywhere else, but obviously that might have something to do with the "baby weight" thing :).

Fit just as I hoped. I am 5'2 and 120lb. I ordered size 4short. I didn't love the trim - a little flashy, but I can live w/ it.

Really cute and great fit but TOO SHORT! I'm 5'9 so this isn't totally unexpected but really a shame. The jeans are great. I wish I could keep.

I was pretty excited about the color and fit of the jeans. However the fabric leaves a lot to be desired. First, despite my washing the about a half dozen times, dark blue continues to come off on my hands. Also, although I went with my normal size, since they stretch , they wind up looking a bit slouchy pretty quickly. Back to the search !
