always loved these shoes. I ordered the wrong size

These shoes majorly rub my heels. Can only wear short periods of time.

Anyone who is buying this shoe should know that not all colors are cut the same. I feel like Zappos should divide the shoes by cut into two different listings. I didn't look super close at the photos between colors because I didn't expect there was a need to; after trying on the light blue (Bluestone) in a 9, I placed a second order for the medium brown (Bourbon) in the same size. The two pairs are similar but truly like two different styles of shoe. The Bluestone is like a traditional flat around the top edge, the Bourbon is visibly and functionally more elasticized; the Bluestone sits flat on the floor when you're not wearing it, the Bourbon clearly has a curvature to it like you would find with a ballet flat. The Bourbon also looks slightly narrower looking at the shoe from the top down compared to the Bluestone. You can tell it's not that the pair I got is stretched out, the difference is clearly in how it was manufactured. This difference doesn't look visible in the Zappos' pictures between these two colors, but if you compare their photos of Bluestone to those for Ivy as an example you can see what I'm talking about. Thankfully the Bourbon still fits me but I was really disappointed this happened because I loved the cut of the Bluestone, so I returned other brands of brown shoes to get the Bourbon. I wish I would have kept one of those other pairs instead but I'm done dealing with packages for a while. If you are going to buy this shoe, go into it knowing that the different colors might not fit you the same so you don't get disappointed like I did. If you are typically on the cusp between two sizes, you might want to buy both so you can compare, then return whichever doesn't fit . I often can wear an 8.5 but as mentioned I went with a 9 for these.

I just received these shoes. The fit is alright but the color is not what the photograph shows. That was a real disappointment. The website photo is a lovely deep brown which I found very attractive. However, the real thing is a pasty somewhat sickly brown. Not so happy but I'll keep them I guess.

Very soft and comfortable, but the elastic opening makes width is very large. If you have a narrow foot, M width is too loose.

I loved the look and comfort of this shoe. However, they were just slightly too small. Typically I wear a 7.5 in a normal width shoe and a 7 in a wide with shoe. So when a 7W was available, I bought that size. After the first day, my big toes were sore. I tried them one more day to see if there would be any stretch but gave up after that. It was just too painful.

Runs smaller than size.

I wear size 12w and the shoes felt like they would work for school(I'm a teacher) but when I went to wear them they started rubbing on my heels. I think they run small compared to what I'm used to. I usually get the ballet flats from Payless in 12 and they fit well. I was hoping these would be similar.?

I have ordered these shoes before (different company, same exact shoe) and for whatever reason these felt more narrow.

I wanted to love these shoes so bad, but they were just horribly uncomfortable. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear after reading reviews but ended up exchanging for a half size smaller (a half size bigger than my actual size) they fit fine but they were oddly wide in the heal area and they were so stiff they started tearing into my skin in the few short minutes I wore them in front of a mirror so I sent them back.

Very cute for jeans or a simple dress but way to small. I wear a 12 but these felt so snug that you’d want to put stretcher in them if you can’t order up a size ( 12 is a tough size to be :( ).

I ordered these in the brown bourbon color. My normal size of a 9.5 was incredibly tight and I returned as my toe was pushing against the front. The size 10 fits but felt a little big. I kept it because it doesn’t fall off when I walk, but the two sizes felt like completely different shoe styles for some reason. The 9.5’s came in curled up, the 10’s weren’t curled up at all and were wider as if already stretched out and worn in.

I didn't even try these on actually because the print is sort of dull looking and not as fancy looking as I wanted. It's more subdued colors in real life than the pictures.

The color of these shoes is a beautiful brown, almost the exact color of the stitching on jeans. I felt a little like Cinderella's sisters, trying to force my feet to fit into a beautiful shoe that was too tight on my toes. The width was perfect and did not shoe any toe cleavage, but the box of the shoes was so small that my toes ached after wearing only a few minutes around the house. I normally wear a 7.5 W and the length was OK, but I am going to order a size 8W to see if that might make a difference. I am SO thankful for Zappos ordering and return option...it enables customers like me, who live in rural areas without any high quality shoe stores within 90 miles, to find shoes that fit and look great.

A very cute flat, but I cannot recommend due to the awkward fit. I could feel the stitching inside near the toes. Perhaps someone with more narrow feet wouldn't have the issue I did. They really are super cute shoes and I wish they felt more comfy.

I love the look, but they were too tight all around. I wear 8W and these were killing me after 20 minutes. They feel off by about half a size.

I normally wear an 8.5M, but needed an 8M in these. These shoes appear to be real leather, but are lined with some mystery material. They’ve got a nicely padded footbed so they’re comfortable, but I think they’re overpriced for the quality of the shoe. (I had a promo code that reduced the price by nearly half and that seems like more of a fair price for what I got.) I own several pair of Lucky Brand shoes, but this style is just “okay” in my opinion.

I want to love these shoes. The fit is odd though. When I wear them the toebox of the shoe almost twists so it appears to make my foot look like it's too wide for the shoe. Love the color but frustrating to wear them with the way they look once walking in them.

I so wanted to love these - ordered three colors after reading reviews! However, they are going back because they feel like wearing leather wrapping paper. They stretch and give over all imperfections of the foot but they have no sides to hold your foot in any "bed". They are like bedroom slippers and would work well a that. I can't imagine wearing them outside or even in an office. I'll keep looking.

I have a narrow size 7 foot and bought these in a 7. Out of the box, they're tight and painful on my heel. I'll definitely need Band-Aids until they break in, which I'm hoping doesn't take too long. I LOVE the leopard print. Hope I'm not making a mistake by keeping them with an optimistic attitude about the fit improving.

I love everything about this shoe but a bit disappointed that after two wears the sole is separating at the toe, so I may have to return.

They're cute but not the best shoes for walking in. They kind of feel like being barefoot.
