Excellent shoe. Cannot recommend highly enough. Light weight flexible plenty of support and not so much of the scrunch around the shoe makes them look more dressier. I love them and I am very picky about comfort. Cant go wrong and especially at this price. I am getting another pair or 2! Plus I ordered in the afternoon and had them the next morning!

Very nicely made and also made in the USA. Looks very attractive on the foot but shows a tad more toe cleavage than other ballet flats. The leather is very nice, soft and the detail on the heel is very attractive.

I haven't decided if I am keeping these or not yet. While not at all exciting as shoes go, they seem to be a good basic pair of flats for when you need a neutral. The back edge of the shoe hits my heel higher than I'm used to, so I am sure that I would end up with blisters the first few times I wear them, but they seem pretty comfy other that that so it might be worth my while. Jury is still out on this one. I think I'll see if I can find a more comfortable neutral flat in the next few weeks and if not I'll give in and take my chances that they'll break in nicely.

I love these shoes even if it came tighter than expected. I wear an 8 in tennis shoes. With these 8.5 would've been perfect. I luv the color!
Soft supple leather and no break in is needed. It is not the most comfy shoes, but what does 1 expect from a flat shoe?! It does the job for cuteness and classics. It's a keeper!

I was disappointed in the grout color which ended up being a pretty uniform beige instead of the weathered natural leather pictured (at least to my eye). I got a wide in my regular size, and they were very comfortable on my wide toe box, but something about the tan color and unstructured design struck me as frumpy on my large feet.

I actually purchased Emmie flats in another color at another retailer half a size smaller than what I normally wear (6½ vs my normal size 7), and in dark pink leather. I loved them so much when I saw them on sale at Zappos in black, I had to get them! Unfortunately, I found the black leather to be a bit lacking. The quality of the leather is not as good as the dark pink, as it seems to be lighter and of poorer and cheaper quality. There is noticeable crinkling and I fear, eventual cracking of the leather, which I did not experience with my pink Emmie flats. I do find that the size 7 fits a lot better on my feet. My feet are a little bit wide but, they fit beautifully. I am still keeping them though because basic, comfortable, flexible black flats are hard to come by and I will see how these wear down since I do a lot of walking, and my pink ones are still holding up beautifully. Perhaps this is only an issue with the black leather.

These shoes are gorgeous. They are made from rich, buttery leather with a very cute style. I wore them for the first time yesterday, which is my long day at school (12 hours). They were very comfortable. However, I was disappointed to see that they are already scuffed on the toe. The most hiking I do at school is slugging my way through a parking lot. Shoes at this price should be a bit more durable. Oh well. Zappos, as always, is phenomenal.

I ordered these in Red and love the look and fit (I found them true to size). I am disappointed, however, to find that the lining is synthetic, NOT leather as stated in the product description. That was one of the big reasons I chose them. The printed size/material/country of origin printed inside (it's near the front of the shoe) clearly states the lining is man-made.

I love these but there's just not enough support for me. I do a lot of walking during the day, and these are about as flat, if not a little flatter than my flip flops. Sad to say, they're going back.

The heels are a bit odd but don't bother me at all once I've got them on for a couple of minutes. I wore them all day right after I got them. Very cute, well made, and dress up or down.

I'm still unsure about this shoe. It's a very cute ballet flat, but it's not the most comfortable shoe in the world. I don't mind the lack of arch support like others have mentioned because I don't expect that in a ballet flat. So far my issue is with the back of the shoe rubbing my heel, but it could just be that I have not given them enough time to break in yet. My biggest issue is with the color. I have Sweet Autumn and, as someone else wrote, the color depends on the lighting. Sometimes it's the perfect light-flesh color and other times it's an icky pink color. I'm wondering if I should have gone with the Tuscany color, instead, for more of a camel-colored nude? As far as sizing, I typically wear an 8 or 8 1/2, but I buy ballet flats in a 9 because they tend to run small and tight. I bought a 9 in these and they fit fine. They have some extra room and gap some at the sides, but they don't slip off at all and my feet don't feel squeezed or restricted as can happen with ballet flats. I would not want them any smaller.

I love the look and feel of the shoes. The red is beautiful, as is the leather. However, they do dig in to the back of my heel. I'm not sure yet if I'm keeping them or if they'll go back.

I have this exact shoe in other colors and when I measured this shoe to existing ones it was about 1/2 inch shorter?

I typically wear a 6.5. I ordered a 6.5 and 7. The 7 fit better however they both weren’t comfortable on my heel. I think they would give me blisters if I wore them. Despite the 7 fitting, my big toe was at the very end of the shoe. It was almost as if the larger size 7 shoe was longer in the back than the front toe part.
So many reviews said how comfortable they are and nothing really about having to break them in. I decided to return both pairs rather then see if I could break them in. They are really really cute.

I really liked these for about a month and then they started to fall apart. Really disappointed because I’ve had $20 target flats that hold up better than these.

I love Lucky Brand Emmie flats and have several pairs. But sizing is off for the leopard ones. I ordered an 8 1/2 like my other pairs. The stitching around the top of the shoes was so tight. When worn the toe part had wrinkles and looked odd. Had to return them.

I was excited to try these flats, but very disappointed by the amount of metallic gold thread running through the print that was not described in the above description, nor shown in the picture views. Am returning them pronto. Too blingy for me!

In nude the 9.5 shoe was curved like picture, 10 was flat. Usually wear a 9 but after reviews ordered a 9.5 and 10. The 9.5 was the right size but the heel dug in so bad I couldn’t wear them. 10 was a little big and since it didn’t have the curve I walked right out of them. I ordered picante too which was supposed to be a tan/gold color but was a gold/blue/red pattern?? Cute but not what I ordered. Zappos has the wrong picture for picante I think.

Bought the Emmie in size 10M in Rose Cream, after spotting someone wearing the same style in another color. Super soft leather and the color is perfect, I was so excited to get them out of the box. However, walking around produced this weird popping sound. Investigation showed the instep of the left shoe has a stiff spot in the leather that "pops" in and out. I've had this happen with ballet-style flats before, don't know if it's a manufacturer defect or my weird feet, but back they go.

I'm a true 9.5 in length, but slightly wider than average across the ball of the foot (at the base of the toe box). So I often order both sizes to make sure one will fit. And since these uppers are a nice leather, I had the added benefit of a little stretch if need be. Big disappointment, neither pair fit, so I did some measuring with the Brannock device. The length specs on the pairs I received are not consistent within the size: 1) The 10 was a bit longer than an average 10, but much worse-- the heel of the 10 is very wide - not at the sole, but all the excess leather around the heel, so that when walking or flexing foot, the heel pops right out of the shoe. 2) The 9.5 heel was perfect, but was much shorter in length than most 9.5's I wear, forcing my toes into the tip of the shoe so painfully that my toes hurt after the test walk, never mind about potential leather give. Here's the kicker (haha). The width of the toe box was almost the same for each size! It's unusual to have such a big discrepancy within a half-size, and whoever calculated the specs probably did so without thinking about feet, because while length and width increase, heel width doesn't usually increase at the same rate. Too bad for me, because the materials quality is excellent.

Wow, do not order these if you have a bunion or wide feet in any way. I put them on and stood up and could tell immediately they would take the skin off my toes! Must be nice to have narrow feet. Zappos as always is wonderful, though! If your feet are wide or bunion-burdened, try Pikolinos instead for sure.

Although the fit comfortably and the outside leather has worn well, the inside liner disintegrated rather quickly. Now when I wear them, I feel like I have dirt in my shoe. I have to frequently take them off and clean bits of liner off my feet.

Shoes were super comfortable however, I have only worn then about 5 times and already falling apart. I was deciding between this brand and the hush puppy brand flats and decided on the lucky brand as typically I have good luck with their products...but not this time. Definitely not worth the cost. Would never purchase again.
