Live in this! 5'6'', 130, small breast size. x-small was selected over the small with the only difference being width. I wanted the fitted, no air up the garment look. Perfect cut and fit. love! oh the sleeves are short when you reach which is perfect as you dont have to worry about getting the sleeves wet washing hands or doing stuff, they move out of the way on there own.

Love this jacket. It's typical Patagonia (high) quality. I'm 5' 7", 110 lbs and the extra small is a perfect fit. I like it because the down fill isn't too bulky and the jacket is incredibly lightweight while being very, very warm. It's also quite a flattering, feminine fit. Again, not bulky so you look like a marshmallow. The picture on the site makes the jacket look more bulky than it is (if you buy true to size. Model's size looks one size too big). The jacket is also a great length. I have a bit of a longer torso, so I have trouble finding jackets long enough that don't hit right at my waist (like the North Face Nuptse insulated jacket), which then causes cold air to run up the back of my coat. This hits a little lower than my hip which is great. Sleeves are a good length. A little longer, but not too long. I highly recommend.

I ordered this jacket in blue, it's a beautiful teal blue, and I love it. It is warmer than the Down Sweater jacket and runs longer too. It has a nice slim fit which is very becoming. I wear an 8-10 and I took a medium. It is very warm and I'm happy with my purchase. All the Patagonia jackets are nice quality and wear well.

I am 5'1, normally wear x-small. I bought x-small in this jacket and it fits very well. A bit long for me. I have this in the Magenta color. It's much pretty in person than the picture shows. The jacket is warm, slightly bulkier than other 800 down fill jackets, but much warmer.

This is a cute jacket, but it is not warm. It also isn't fitted if you are a little person. I am 5' and 105lbs, this jacket was big on me.

This fall I took a wonderful trip to Australia, which started in Melbourne. Where there was cold and breezy weather. After which the tour moved north to much warmer settings. I brought along one of my more stylish down jackets to wear in Melbourne and initially was glad to have it. However, once the tour moved on, that bulky, anything but light jacket became nothing but a burden to carry or pack. Recently I set out on an online quest to find a very light, compressible down jacket available in great colors, that was form-fitting and would not make me look like the Michelin Man. I did my homework, researching many brands and styles of down jackets for around town and travel wear. The Patagonia hi-loft down sweater fit my needs perfectly. This jacket is weightless! When I picked up the Zappos box from my porch, my first startled impression was that someone in shipping had accidentally sent me an empty box. I was relieved to find the high-loft down sweater inside. The blue is my favorite shade, a dark, rich teal, more blue than green. The inner lining is a bright but not obnoxious medium green, actually a very appealing contrast to the outer teal. I am not a fan of green, but this one I like. When I slipped into the jacket, it felt as if I was wearing nothing but warmth. I am 5'3" tall and weigh 109 pounds. I ordered the small, since I could not find an extra small in this color. The small fits very nicely across my shoulders, and the arm and back lengths are perfect. The small is also figure-flattering enough to satisfy me. I appreciate the wind flap inside the zipper, though it could be a bit wider. The inner pocket accommodates my iPhone and the battery/on-off section of the cable for my Bose headphones, even when the pocket is zipped. The outer pockets also have zippers. I rolled up this down high-loft sweater and pushed it into its stow sack. The sack when containing the jacket measured 8"x 5", more or less, info which might come in handy for everyone's packing purposes. There are only a few improvements I can suggest for future incarnations of this down sweater. First, please line the outer pockets in fleece instead of taffeta. I love tucking my hands into pockets to warm my fingers, and fleece does a much better job than cool, slick fabric. The other suggestion is to change the cuff, which is a thin band of elastic that could be tighter. I would much prefer a knit fabric cuff that is recessed a few inches up inside the sleeve. Those cuffs block wind better than the elastic, which leaves gaps if too wide, or cuts into wrists when too tight. But those are minor things. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase.

After trying several different styles from Patagonia, this one fit perfectly. It is 26 inches in length which hits right at my hips. I am 5'4". Love this jacket! It is super warm too!

Eek- faced with a late-notice winter trip to Paris and Prague, how to stay warm? This is it. This is, in fact, da bomb. Not overly puffy, that bit longer which makes so much difference, packs into nothingness, weighs about the same as helium. Bring on the adventures! Thanks, Zappos!

Awesome, I live in San Francisco and it has been so cold lately, I should have bought this jacket a long time ago. It's very warm and it feels light; however, the picture of the blue one looks a lot lighter than the one I've got. By the way, I ordered this jacket yesterday and I received it today at noon.

This was my first Zappos order. Man, they have scored a customer for life! I had my order in less than 24 hours - for free. That was very impressive - and I am no easily impressed. Now, to he coat. I absolutely love it. Especially that it is long enough to cover the "fanny" area. I realize, and accept, that the coat might not be as durable as most, but it cannot be packable, lightweight, and durable, right? I got a good price on the coat, and am fully satisfied with the whole experience. Thanks.

I was originally looking at the Down Sweater and I tried one on in a store. I loved the look and the angle of the stitching but for some reason, I felt like it was too small for me. The arm length was fine but it felt too short at the inseam. My shirt extended past the coat by quite a bit and even though it fit, I felt as if I was trying to wear a kids jacket that wasn't long enough. I'm 5'7" and 125 pounds and ordered the small. I looked online and heard that the hi-loft not only adds extra fill but that it was a little longer. I took a chance and I LOVE IT!!! It's a perfect length. Still fitted and flattering and hits my waist/hips appropriately. There's more fill for extra warmth since this will be my winter jacket and won't be used as a layering piece. It's super warm without being restrictive or sweaty. I can't believe it took me so long to buy a Patagonia. I bought the Light Balsamic and it's a beautiful wine color. For anyone who likes the Down Sweater but agrees that it's slightly too short, then order this! You won't be disappointed!

Bought it for my teen. She loves it. Fit is true, color is vibrant and it kept her warm during the nor'easter we just had here on Long Island. And the jacket is not too puffy so it's easy to move around in.

This is a nice color, and different from what I have seen out there. This jacket is cozy warm, like being under a down comforter, but even better because it does not look like a huge puffer jacket! Note that the sizing seems big. Patagonia is always weird for me because I am a medium in North Face, which is listed sizes 6-8. Medium in Patagonia is listed sizes 8-10, and this jacket is bigger than a medium North Face. I just have been searching so long for a warm jacket and need one and although it does not fit perfectly and I wish it were taken in more, it is a nice color and a good length (I am 6' tall!).

I tried both the small and extra small. I'm 5'5" and 116 pounds and find the extra small to be perfect. The small fit more loosely and would have worked, too, but I liked a leaner fit. It is still roomy enough for layers. I do not think it would be warm enough without layering in the dead of Northeast winter. I love it, though as it is lightweight and wearable for everyday (with layers).
