This is a nice coat. It's like a lightweight jacket, but it really does keep you warm in 19 degree weather. My other North Face jacket is very bulky so I am amazed that this same jacket provides the same amount of warm/protection. I did not order a size up and it fits fine. It would have been too large if I had ordered a size up. Great price, so I may order a second color.

I ordered this jacket at 6:30 at night for next business day delivery and when I got home from work the next day it was already delivered! I love the color (kodiak blue). Very comfortable, warm, and not at all heavy. I bought another coat earlier this year and it drove me crazy cause the arms were not near long enough showing my arms even with gloves. But this coat is perfect and covers and keeps my arm much better.

This is the first time I have ordered from Zappos and I am very pleased. I ordered the bittersweet brown NF jacket for my niece. I placed my order in the evening and my niece received it the very next day with FREE SHIPPING! She is 14 y/o 5'0 and 90lbs. She said the xs fit her perfectly.

I absolutely love this jacket. I live in mild CA Bay Area climate, but still needed a jacket for winter. I am 5'4", 105 lbs and the XS is perfect. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to wear layers under it because it fits so well, but honestly it's warm enough to wear on its own. The warmth is surprising due to the little amount if bulk there is. I've even played tennis wearing this jacket. No hood, but personally I think having one would be uncomfortable. The one thing I noticed are tiny feather particles coming out at the seams, but I'm hoping that is just the settling of the down. I get compliments on this jacket every time I wear it. Great price for a TNF jacket.

I love this jacket. It is very warm, yet still lightweight. Runs bigs, however, so order a a size smaller than you normally would.

I love my new jacket! Had seen it early this Winter season at an outfitters store and had longed to have. It is light, comfortable, keeps me warm and the color is great. I am 5'6", 135lbs and the small fits me perfectly. I love Zappos! Great customer service; received my jacket the day after I ordered it. Doesn't get much better than that!

I recieved this jacket for christmas and i have not gone a day without wearing it! First of all, I love the north face brand and own many items by them but this one is by far my favorite! It fits great and is so soft and warm for treking across my college campus in 20 degree weather! I would reccomend this jacket to anyone looking for something both warm and cute! I wanted the black because I thought it would go perfectly with any outfit and it does! I am also 5'8'' and about 180 and I ordered the XL so I would have room underneath for a hoodie or a fleece! I am abosultely pleased with my jacket and I know my mother loved ordering from Zappos because of the fast shipping and easy ordering! THANK YOU ZAPPOS!!!

This is a great jacket. I had received it for Christmas in a size L, but needed the XL for more roominess in the shoulders (I am usually a size 10 in most tops). It is a more fitted jacket, but I like a little roominess. It's very warm and the quality is excellent on par for North Face. Originally it was purchased from Bass Pro, but they had limited sizes and no more purple. So, I researched and found on Zappos. Great service! Thanks, Zappos!

This is a nice and warm jacket that is quite fashionable! I was between the small and medium and decided to go for the small since the jacket has a nice tailored fit for a puffy jacket and I looked a bit more like a marshmallow in the medium. That said, you cannot fit a thick layer under but I do not think the sizing up would have changed much, it is just the fit of the jacket. But I have not felt like I have needed a big layer underneath to feel warm anyways!

Love this jacket! Searched high and low for it in a size extra small in aqua and was thrilled to find it here. Every other online store and brick and mortar shop was sold out! Had problems ordering online so I phoned customer service and they were able to process the order immediately. The agent corrected the reason why I was having problems with my online order which had something to do with duplicate credit card information in my account record. I received this gorgeous jacket within two days but was disappointed it was actually a size small. I know I was specific about the size and was concerned they would fault me and not the agent that processed the order. False alarm! I contacted customer service and they were very apologetic and processed a second order which I received in two days. My 14 yr. old, 5' 90 lb niece loves the jacket and says it's very warm and has been receiving compliments from her friends at school. Bonus -- Zappos let me return to first order free of charge! Thank you Zappos for making my shopping experience so positive!

Love the coat - bought it in brown. It has a slight sheen to it and is not so puffy/bulky as some other down jackets. WARNING: it runs small, order a size up.

I ordered this jacket after trying 5 others and I have to say that I love it. It first the reason I didn't order it was because it did not have a hood but I really don't need or miss that. It keeps me super warm in NYC. Very stylish and fits very well.

I ordered my jacket not knowing too much about the company. I recieed it and it really is an excellent fit. I wear it in the cold New York weather and I must say, I have no complaints. I am never cold. I have ordered the boots, hat, and gloves of the same brand. I am truly addicted and will not purchase from any other brand name.

So comfy and warm! Not bulky at all. I usually wear a size 6-8 and have broader shoulders. I got a large to make sure I could wear it over long sleeves and sweaters. I have worn this every day since I got it and received many compliments. Came super fast -- love Zappos!

First of all I love this coat, I'm so glad I went ahead and ordered it. It is fairly spendy but a great price really if you are in the market for a down jacket. I originally ordered XL because I am a tall gal and in order to get arms that fit I have to size up. When it came (which is crazy fast I love this about Zappos) the arms were plenty long but the body of the coat was a little bulky and not needed (yea!). I reordered the coat in the L and it fits great it's very slimming because of the design of the coat. I love it!

Love this jacket. Very warm and stylish looking. Sizing seems to run on the small side. You may want to order one size larger if you are going to wear bulky clothes underneath it. Delivery was fast and accurate.

I ordered the Premier Purple but it was super shiny and bright-it was a pretty rich shade but not for me. Also, I ordered the small but it was too long for my waist and too loose. I am 5'4", 116 lbs. I exchanged it for the XS, Bittersweet Brown and was pleasantly surprised! The fit was perfect as was the color! I can even fit a lightweight hoody/sweater comfortably underneath. I'm keeping it!! Yaaay!

Love this product. I purchased a small (I am about 5'3 and 100 lbs) and it fits perfectly. Not bulky but still enough room to wear a sweatshirt underneath on cold days. Very comfortable as well.

I absolutely adore this jacket. It holds up to the cold Cleveland winters wonderfully (I've had it a year). And it is adorable while doing so. I am a size 6-8 and ordered it in a medium. It's perfect. I have gotten so many compliments on it (I got it in black and love it so much I am tempted to order more colors). It is so flattering (unlike most down jackets) and cinches in at the waist. And the arms are the perfect length, plenty long so they come down over the tops of gloves. I can't recommend this jacket enough, love it. Worth every penny if you ask me. Only thing that would make it better would be if it had a hood. But I just wear a cute knit hat instead.
