I love this coat. It's very warm. I normally get a medium/large in tops so I got the coat in a large. It is a little big for me. I would suggest the medium for those medium/large in betweeners, unless you're trying to fit puffy sweaters underneath.

I love this jacket! It's warm and stylish looking too! The only thing that bothers me is the high collar but that's just a personal issue. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

After looking for the right coat for quite a while - trying coats on, researching specs (warmth rating, weight, down-vs-synthetic, etc.) and reading various reviews for different coats, I opted for the Nuptse and was glad I did. I love it! It's just what I was looking for in a daily coat to wear during the Denver winters. Maybe not the absolute most stylish for some but good looking all the same and very warm and lightweight. I'm 5'4, 130 lbs and the small fits great...even over sweaters! Great value for the money. I'd recommend to friends.

I just ordered this jacket last week and it came the next business day. I am in love with this warm down jacket! I got it just in time for Michigan's cold snap. After having a baby, my other TNF jacket was tight in the middle. I ordered the next size up and I have so much room. My coat will fit nice with a thicker sweater underneath. I got the black and it almost looks like a dark gray. I love it and I can't wait to wear it the rest of this winter!

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. Warm, a little puffy but not too much, with a good shape to it. It's not boxy, has a flattering cut.

Love it! This coat is comfy and stylish. I don't feel like a marshmallow in it which is good. The fit is great and I've gotten several compliments about it.

Very nice 'short' jacket. This is very warm, but cuts off right at hip line, so if you don't mind a short, warm jacket then this will keep you warm. If you want something a little lower, then get the black North Face jacket that comes right above the knee.

I love this coat, but I'm in between sizes. The XL was too big and bulky on me, and the large was a little too tight. It's a very warm-wish I could keep it, but I will be sadly sending it back since I can't get the right fit. It will be well worth your money if it fits!!

Really nice coat. Not too bulky but not thin. My daughter is about 5 ft 2 inches and weighs 102 lbs and she could wear both the x-small and the small.

Love this down jacket. Perfect amount of down, so sick of those super thin down coats in the stores that are just not warm enough. This coat is the perfect amount of down and is super warm. Fits true to size for North Face and doesn't look as boxy as in the photo. I think you'll be happy with this jacket. The brown is really nice too! Order it!

This is a great basic winter jacket. Fit is a little roomy to accommodate a sweater, looks great.

This coat is very light, warm, there's no need for a sweater, but it's kind of short and bulky on the shoulders

I have a North Face jacket already. This one came in a 2xl and is a lot more comfortable.I always have confidence when I purchase anything from Zappos.

I think this coat is great! I wanted a down coat that would keep me warm, but not feel too heavy and weigh me down (I'm only 5'2") as these type of puffer coats often do. This one is light weight, but does provide an incredible amount of warmth for not being super thick. I love the Kodiak Blue color; haven't seen anything else like it! The only two drawback in my opinion are 1) the coat does pick up dirt/scuffs easily and 2) the hand cuffs aren't fleeced lined like some of the Mountain Hardwear jackets - this would have been a great added bonus for the price! But overall I'm really happy with this purchase and can't just say enough great things about Zappos customer service!

Bought this for my 14 y/o daughter. She loves it. She says it's very warm. The fit runs a bit small, she is 5'7" and the med fit well. Normally, she'd take a small. I think it's typical for TNF. It's perfect for cold walks to the bus stop during MI winters! Haven't found feathers leaking as of yet as others have mentioned.

I really wanted to love this jacket but while it fit good through the hips it was really big in the chest and shoulders. I felt like a football player.

I really wanted to like this jacket from the reviews online. But just from looking at the model, I could tell it would probably fit funny. I am 5'7", 160 pounds and I bought a size medium. The sleeves were huge! They were overly loose and bulky, and the torso part was extremely tight. It's a really confusing fit. I am trying to lose weight and although I somewhat considered keeping it because I know the torso area would get looser if I were to lose weight, the arms would still be unnecessarily bulky, and I just could not get over it. It is definitely not worth this price.
