I was amazed at the poor sizing on these shoes, being Vionics. I ordered a 10 wide. The only wide part of the shoe was the heel. It was as though the manufacturer switched the ends—the forefoot was narrow and the heel was wide. It was laughable looking at what I thought were great shoes. It’s not the quality or construction I’ve always credited to Vionic.

These are very "clunky" shoes. They seem comfortable but the outside is very stiff and bulky.

I have read many positive reviews about this brand and wanted to try it. However, these shoes are not for the truly wide foot. My feet are a C width and a bit on the flat side. I was unable to comfortably put these shoes on. It felt as though the sides of my feet spilled over the innersole. The shoe itself is long and narrow. This is fine probably for someone who has a more normal-type foot. If Vionic wants shoes to fit a wide foot, they need to re-examine their specifications. The innersole is also too stiff and hard for me. Again, these are personal opinions and just because the shoe did not fit me it will probably work for others.

Shoes do run big as in long. I had to order 2nd pair 1 full size smaller. But, I ordered wide width and they seem a bit narrow for a wide width shoe. But surprisingly the fit is good. Arch support is great! I have high arches and have a terrible time finding shoes with good support. Because the arch support is so good, my feet have to get used to the feel of the arch in the shoe. As another reviewer noted the black does leave dye on your white socks. The shoe construction is rather fair for the price being charged. But, overall I will probably keep them as they made my feet hurt the least of all the shoes I have tried lately.

This shoe feels very comfortable and I thought it would be supportive enough for my daily 1 hour walks. However, after a long walk recently my knee hurt, which means that my arch was not being supported enough. I'm back to my orthotics in my old shoes. The orthaheels are comfortable for wearing around the house, shopping, etc. just not for distance walking (if you have pronation).

Runs extremely large in all directions -- there is no option to not rate the stars. Couldn't try it successfully with it being so large -- excellent arch, but in the wrong place because of size.

I'm normally a perfect size 9 but these shoes were about 1/4" too short in the toe. My toes were pressed right into the edge of the toe box. The arch support raised part was not in the right spot for my arch and these shoes felt really heavy for walking.

These shoes were a big disappointment. They have excellent arch support, but way to much for my normal arch. They may be all right for walking in cities and towns where you have sidewalks but if you are out in the country (as I am) walking on unpaved ground they kill your feet. There is no cushioning whatsoever in them, and they are very stiff with no give at all in the sole. I think they would work great if you overpronate very badly, but they did not work for me. I found them very uncomfortable, making my ankles, legs and knees hurt badly. I really feel like I wasted my money on them.

I thought this was exactly what I needed for my flat feet and aching plantar fasciitis. I thought the insole would be nice and soft and comfy but instead it was hard and the arch felt like I was stepping on a rock. I was disappointed to say the least. Maybe the Orthaheel insole in my regular shoe will work. Wish they would have worked.

I was really looking forward to receiving these shoes as I have flat feet and I thought they would be the answer to my problem. As per suggestion, I ordered a half size smaller than I normally would. I need to wear my own orthotic so I removed the orthotic that comes with the shoe, but the fit was all wrong for me when I inserted my own orthotic. Too bad because now I have to search again from scratch.

First : The Right Sneaker is defective on the inside with a sharp bump that digs in to the sole of my right foot outside edge close to my heel. Second: The Left Sneaker has a Broken LOOP in which the laces are supposed to be threaded through. Third: Vionic shoes usually have a built in arch support. There is NO ARCH Support in these Sneakers at all.

I am so disappointed with Vionic shoes these days. Their lasts are all over the place. I have an older pair of the Vionic Walker and ordered a new pair in the same size. They are easily 1/4" shorter and therefore too small. I've had other issues with their sizing being inconsistent, but this is the first time its happened on a reorder. Sending back.

I have followed to the centimeter measurement when ordering these shoes. However, seemingly the manufacturer did not. After removing the stuffing from only one of the pair, my hand hardly fits in.

Received these Orthaheel Walker Shoes from Zappos. I ordered them as I have a bad problem with a dropped arch, severe rolling inward pronation on my left foot. At first they were wonderful but after about 2 months the left foot would not stay stable and starting rolling the shoe inward. I have other Orthaheel shoes and do not have this problem with them. I wish they would not have broke down as they were very good at first. Replaced them already with a pair of New Balance which seem to be holding up better. Maybe someone has a suggestion on how I can fix this problem.

The size of these shoes is not true to form. I did read the other reviews and ordered an 8 instead of my normal 8½, but even then the shoes were too big. The company needs to do something about the sizing!

I have had these shoes for two weeks. The rubber toe guard is coming loose. I ordered them 1/2 size smaller as suggested. Length is fine, but way to wide after wearing them for two weeks. They stretched and I feel like I am wearing clown shoes. I only wear them for a few hours a day, they have not been worn hard. I can not return them because according to the rules, they have to be in the same condition which they are not after wearing them for two weeks and the nose guard is pulling away from the shoe, plus I do not have the orginal box they came in. When they first arrived they felt okay, but I was concerned about the width. I decided to keep them to see if in time I would like them more. Well after only two weeks I hate them and have not even paid for them yet on my charge card. Had they not started to fall apart I would have probably not complained, just never bought them again. They are not worth their money. I think you should be able to return a defective pair of shoes.

This is my go-to walking shoe. I never buy anything else anymore. As I've aged, my feet have spread so I've increased the width; but the shoe still is the best one I ever have found for my feet, my knees, my hips and my back. These are very supportive.

Great support. A bit stiff at first. Love the color. Not my first pair. The old ones died.

I bought these Vionic Walkers in October 2020 and wore them every day (well, almost every day) to walk my spazzy Australian Shepherd. I've got very low arches and big ridiculous bunions, and these shoes felt GREAT! It's time for some new walking shoes since these ones are finally starting to wear out. Based on lots of reviews online about Hokas, I went to the local running shoe store and bought some. Wore them for a bout a week of dog-walking, and they did NOT feel good. Returned them and got some Brooks. Same experience. I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.... I shouldn't have left my own Zappo's Vionic backyard to look for something more exciting or trendy. I'm coming back to order a new pair of good ol' Vionic Walkers.

Having narrow feet, it’s always a challenge to find a walking shoe or tennis shoe that supports and fits well. These shoes fit great all around! I’m a teacher and am on my feet for long stretches of the day. These shoes offer the support I need while still being relatively light weight.

I love the rusty orange color and that they don’t look like “orthopedic” shoes like some in the same category. True to size and width 8.5 (W). I’m type 1 diabetic, w/ a painful accessory bone, with a bad back and achilles issues, so I add the green superfeet insoles and it’s the perfect combination. I bought a second pair for wearing inside only and would love to get some of the other fun colors!

Basically it was time for a new set of walking shoes and these fit the bill. LOVE the yellow color because they just spell spring and I know that the support is excellent as well. I only gave comfort 4 stars because right out of the box they do seem a bit stiff... I know this will improve as I wear them.

Finally I have found a comfortable walking shoe! I went up a half size in order to wear think socks. I won’t make a fashion statement but at least I enjoy walking again. I think they run true to size, they have a super deep toe box which allows me extra cushioning for my neuropathy. Heel is a nice comfortable fit. A well made shoe with quality materials. Am over the moon that I’ve finally found something.

I walk about 10 miles a day and my feet always hurt. These shoes have made life and walking a pleasure once again. They were more than I wanted to pay but my feet feel wonderful so I bought two pair.
