This is my second pair. Very comfortable walking shoe. It does look a lot like an orthopedic shoe, but I walk 7 miles a day so comfort is more important than style. No breaking in required, with good arch support. I got the sand color for dusty trails. Minor detail that I appreciate: you don't have to double tie the laces. One bow and they stay in place.

This is my third pair of this shoe; works well for me for walking as has great support and helps with keeping alignment of my arthritic knees as well.

I have ordered these shoes over and over because they are the best I’ve found for my daily walking. They provide good arch support and are very comfortable. I’ve tried other Vionic styles because these aren’t the most stylish, but always return to this one.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and these shoes are well worth the money and even the grandma shoe looks (no disrespect to my elders meant). Seriously, I've had no need for my custom ortho inserts either when walking in these and I can go for an easy 1-1.5 hr walk, which I sometimes do with my dogs, and my feet couldn't be happier. I've tried the Vionic flip flops which I thoroughly dislike as my foot seems to move around a lot in them (I prefer the Burkenstocks for flip flop alternatives, the ones that are make like from the Crocks type foam material). But these walking sneakers are perfect. Lots of room in the toe box too. Not sure how hot my feet might get as the weather warms up, but they are perfect right now. Thank you Zappos for the excellent customer service as usual - I'd ordered 8.5 just in case, but the 8 fit fine, so it was true to size.

This tennis shoe is the best of the 4 Vionic ones I own. Gonna enjoy wearing them.

Beautiful shoe. Excellent arch support. Roomy toe box. Great fit for my narrow ankle. Sadly I had to return because of my small- toe bunion. There is a tiny area inside the shoe-maybe it is a seam to the mesh- anyway my toe bunion rubbed up against it .If my small toe didn't have the additional bone width this would be the perfect shoe for me. I rated the Vionic walker 5 stars. Thank you Zappos for your excellent shipping/ return policy and customer service.

The size is perfect, I wear a 9 and the 9 is perfect. I had ordered a 9 med width, but my toes were crushed. Returned them and within a day I had the 9 wide. I am very happy with them. I am not noticing very much arch support as I had hoped. But so far so good.

I have had plantar fasciitis for the past few months and these shoes really provide relief from the pain. I usually wear a 10, but based on earlier reviews, I ordered a 9.5 which fit perfectly. They also run a little wide, but that hasn't been a problem for me.

Love these shoes! I've been wearing Orthaheel flip flops for years and finally decided to try the walking shoes. They feel just as good as the flip flops and better because they are lace ups so your feet stay right where they need to be on the soles. I highly recommend these for anyone who has plantar fasciitis and they are well worth the expense. In tennisshoes, it is normally recommended that you order a half size larger than you measure but these run a little larger than most tennisshoes so there is no need to go up in size. Order exactly the size that your feet measure.

Very good support. Size runs large, I had to get a size smaller than my regular size.

I bought these shoes last year and was very impressed. This pair, however, appears to be from a different manufacturer and is smaller. I did not anticipate this and wore them thinking they would break in. I was wrong and had to order another pair half a size larger. The larger shoes fit, just like the pair from last . I am sorry I did not wear them in the house so I could return them. Oh well, an expensive lesson learned.

Felt more support during my walks. Felt different than other walking shoes but foot adjusts quickly.

I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis and heard about this brand from another web site. These shoes have great arch support and have given me a lot of relief. They offer more comfort than the orthotics that I got from my doctor. The only negative is that I wish they had a little more cushioning.

After purchasing a similar shoe at my podiatrist's office, I wasn't happy so I returned those and searched online and found these. So far these are working really well for me. I've been diagnosed with plantar fascia (although the physical therapist isn't quite sure if that's entirely accurate) and I have been having an awful time trying to find shoes. Compounding the foot woes, I have two hip replacements so I've always had trouble finding good fitting, comfortable shoes. I'm thinking about buying another pair from the same company.

These shoes are great! They were comfortable the first time I put them on and have excellent arch support. Since they are now my favorite athletic shoe, I would definitely buy them again.

Read all the reviews on this shoe and was undecided on what to do about size as several reviews said it ran large. Ordered my regular size and it was 1/2 size too large. Ordered 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfect! Recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and heel spur so I did some research and found out this shoe was recommended for these problems. Having to wear a day brace which fits fine in the shoe. Shoe feels great. Hoping it helps my problem.

I own several pairs of Orthaheel sandals and lived in them all summer. The support in them is wonderful. The same is true for these shoes. Unfortunately, I have to send them back. I usually wear a 2A and there isn't a narrow size. The Medium was too wide in the toe box. These are nice looking shoes and would be excellent for someone with Plantar F.

Orthaheel walkers, fabulous shoes. I have bunions and these are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet. I immediately felt superior support. Don't hesitate with this shoe!

I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and these Orthaheel walkers are an answer to a prayer. I enjoyed comfort all summer with Orthaheel sandals, but now that the cold weather is here, I needed a closed shoe. These shoes are exactly what I needed for proper arch support and relief from heel pain. I just wish there were more Orthaheel styles available in wide widths.

I am on my feet all day in a clinic and prefer these to my other gym shoes. Good support, not identical to the sandals from Orthaheel. Size is true to slightly generous. I buy 10's in most of my gym shoes, but took a 9.5 in these.

These shoes are great for working all day on my feet. They stabilize my heels which pronate and cause plantar fasciitis.

Very true to size and comfortable right out of the box. A little bulky looking but worth it for the comfort. Very roomy toe box.
