I think they would have been great except that they were too tight on my pinkie toes, both feet. I have somewhat wide feet but not wide enough to wear "wide" size. I wanted them to work out...boo hoo

This is a well-made shoe, but I ordered a 10.5 M after reading so many other reviews that said it ran a half-size large. I would venture to say it runs a full size large, and also seems wide. It has a very pronounced arch, which is good for those of us with flat feet, but I can't say it was comfortable. I'm sending these back, and will probably try another Brooks sneaker, my fave brand.

There are better shoes with more support than these ones,i.e. New Balance. They did nothing for my feet. They also run extremely large. For the price, they are not worth it. Note: I have no affiliation with New Balance shoes

These run big both in length and width. I normally wear an 8.5 M, and ordered these in an 8 based on other reviews. Even in a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear there was still a thumbs width extra room in the toe area. I'm not sure if they run a full size too big or if they're supposed to be that big. I had no idea if the soles were properly fitting or not because of that. After awhile they seemed to be "okay", but I couldn't get used to the room in the front half of the shoe. My toes cold wiggle, curl under, etc. There was just more room than I'm used to and I much prefer a snugger fit in my shoes. Overall the shoe looked good in the lime green I ordered, but I returned them since they were too wide and too long.

Ordered these in black but they fell apart just 2 weeks after wearing them. Very disappointed. They offered some decent support but I also had my own soles from my Dr. in them. The return process was a little iffy too.

Nice sneakers, but the heel cup is very deep & there was not enough metatarsal (ball of foot) support for my neuroma. Had to put my orthotics on top of the orthotic insole & it still was not comfortable. Oh well.

I want to love these shoes but I can't say that I'm in love. When I first put them on, they seemed to provide support in all the right places. But after I'm on my feet for awhile, they kill. I have plantar fasciitis and purchased them as they were advertised to be great for it. I'm still trying to love them but Naot's seem to be the only brand that hits me in the right places and helps my plantar fasciitis. Trouble is, Naot doesn't make a sneaker.

Importantly, this is not a good shoe for those with bunions, even in the wide width. The shoe is not fully wide at the big toe joint area, and the toe box narrows after that point so that it pushes both big toe AND little toe toward each other. I normally wear a 9W, and found this shoe to be 1/4 of a size too short. Maybe that is why there are such varied reviews about size. The plusses: There seems to be greater-than-usual cushioning around the heel. That would have been nice. A "loop" in the tongue (that you can run laces through) looks like it might help keep the tongue in place. There's a pronounced arch--but it feels "sudden" as opposed to gradual. (That may also be due to my unfamiliarity with arch support). I had hoped this would be the shoe for me and my new plantar fasciitis condition, but I will return it due to the too-narrow bunion area and curving toe box.

The Walker has good arch support, though not as good as the Orthaheel sandals. The sizing is also different. I usually have to buy wide shoes because of my ridiculously high arches, but these shoes were still rather narrow. The sizing is also different from the sandals. If you have wide feet, do not size down as you would for the Orthaheel sandals. Your toes will be pinched, but when you walk, the top of the heel will still bob up and down, scraping you and maybe even leaving blisters. I am going to send these back and will try a larger size, but the best strategy may be to try them on in a store. Again, the fit is not the same as it is for the Orthaheel sandals. Compared with the sandals, these run small and narrow.

While this shoe had excellent arch support. The width was much narrower than expected. I wear Orthaheel sandals and this tennis shoe does not have the wide foo tbed that the sandals have. Additionally, it is clunky looking.

Awful. They felt very hard on the bottom, not cushioned well. There was arch support, but it felt like it was more towards my heel than centered on my arches. I guess I need to go up a size, but this is the size I have been wearing forever. The look and style are nice, just not at all comfortable.

Vionic Walker offer ankle support but are just too hard with absolutely no cushioning. I have foot issues that include weak ankles, plantar fasciitis as well as heel bone spurs.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Glycerin 19 11B (M) are so far the best for meeting my foot needs.

Sadly, Vionic seems to have moved the placement of the arch. All of a sudden it is between my heel and arch and it doesn’t feel good at all. This is the 2nd pair of Vionics that this has happened. I have so many pairs that have been great, but no longer.

Shoe doesn't narrow in at the arch like the great Vedra model did, and the fabric loop lacing does not provide the adjustability that the traditional punched holes allow. I need good arch support but am getting tired of trying to find a good new pair of this brand.

Shoe felt very cheap, no real cushion. Fit exactly like a Medium width not a wide and a full size short and small toe box. I normally wear a 7 Wide and I would say this felt like a 6 medium, my toes were hitting the front of the shoe.

Shoe is shaped like an oval. I have a wide toe box and narrow heel. The sole of this shoe is good but the inside didn't feel very plush. I also do not like the lacing system. The shoe does not have eyelets and I found it difficult to lace and tighten. I'm returning this shoe, not for me.

I ordered an 8, slightly too large. BUT the sewn in piece of letter where the small toe is, will cause a rubbing problem. Also they look so big and bulky!

I have purchased over 4 pairs of these shoes in the past and they were wonderful. The stitching on the tongue of this particular pair was extremely uncomfortable as it rubbed the top of my foot on both shoes. I was disappointed and sent them back. I may try another pair since I wear an odd size which is typically not found in stores.

I cannot understand how people think these are comfortable?? Now, granted, I am in a severe flare up of plantar fasciitis but still. Every search I do on google for "best shoes for plantar fasciitis" brings this shoe up. They are hard, stiff, they fit oddly and no cushion for the heel. Yes, I understand you're supposed to "get used to the fit." But even Birkenstocks are more comfortable at the moment. I do have to say a huge THANK YOU to Zappos for being my personal, in-home, shoe store while I search desperately for something that will give me relief. Definitely returned these beasts.

I've only worn these once. However, I was disappointed that they didn't have more cushion. I could feel that there was arch support in the sneakers, but it felt like I was standing directly on my concrete classroom floor. I didn't go home raving about the comfort of the shoes, nor did it relieve/remove the pain in my heel after teaching all day. I'd seriously consider returning them if I hadn't already worn them. I regret spending this much money for so little results.

I have really mixed feelings about this shoe. I bought it after reading the reviews. I wanted a different shoe that the Sauconys that I have been purchasing for work. I was tired of black granny shoes. What I like is that it seems to present a shorter profile, it seems my feet look smaller than my 9.5 boats. I got the white and blue ones. What I don't like is that they have NO arch support. I was actually shocked. I wear orthotics in my work shoes (operating room nurse). They didn't really allow for the orthotics to be worn for about a week. Now I have them in, they are ok, but not as good as the Sauconys. I also think they are slightly small, not a full size, but a bit smaller. I am going to keep them for now and see how it goes. I guess they can always replace my worn out gardening shoes if they become less comfortable. I definitely will not be buying them again.
