I got these for plantar fasciitis and I love them. I normally wear a 9.5 but wear a 9 in these. When I tried them on in the store they suggested going down in the size to the 9... the result was that the arch hit a better place on my foot. These have a velcro wide strap so they can be adjusted. I really love them. I really felt they needed to be washed as they were getting the 'foot smell'! I have washed them about 3 times in the 6 mos I've had them. I put them in the washer on cold with regular detergent in the "hand wash" cyle which includes a slower spin speed, and then let them air dry. My only complaint is that the fabric seems to be thinning over time and will sometimes 'pill' a bit under my feet. However, considering I have worn these just about daily since I bought them, it's not so bad. When my PF was really bad I would put my feet in these slippers as soon as I got out of bed, including bathroom runs during the night -- huge difference. My PF is no longer active but I continue to wear these daily around the house and when returning from work. I have been known to wear these outside and on quick runs to the store as well. They have a very solid sole. I have them in black. Wore them to Thanksgiving at the in laws yesterday!

I am very pleased with my first purchase of a Orthaheel product. These slippers helped my pain with plantar fasciitis immediately. I have since ordered flip-flops, which I love and also a pair of Mary Jane closed in shoes. This is the first time in months that I am able to shop or be on my feet most of the day with minimal or no pain I never expected the arch support could be so helpful. Make sure you give it a few days to actually see results. Start with only a few hours each day.

I love these slippers and wear them every day. It has been my mission to find shoes like these to wear around the house after having foot surgery for a while. Now I'm smitten. Originally, I got them a half size down based on some reviews that I had read and needed to return them for my true size.

These provide very good arch and heel support. They have hard soles so they are not cozy comfortable slippers but they are wear to walk around the house and get things done slippers. The Velcro straps make sure you have got a nice secure fit.

Love these slippers and can't go barefoot because of plantar fasciitis. These are the perfect shoes to wear around the house. The footbed gives my foot great support. I like the fact that the top is adjustable, helps to make them snug going up and down steps. And they're cute, too - I've actually received compliments on them. Makes me feel a little better about having to wear "orthotics!"

I bought the flip flops last summer and loved them and no more leg pain or slipping out as I did with cheap flip flops. These are just as good. Real support for my feet. I wish all my shoes felt this good. Worth every penny!

I've been waiting for these slippers! I tried the other style from Orthaheel last year and they were too wide even with the velcro. These are perfect! I love the open toe, the velcro doesn't drag on the ground when adjusted like in the other style and they are so comfortable! Even with the open toe, they are warm! I got my usual size and they fit perfectly. Every winter I've been wearing my Othaheel flip flops around the house and had cold feet but now I'm all set for the winter months!

These slippers are amazing - I don't want to take them off when I'm at home. I am a half size, so I bought a size smaller than normal, and they fit perfect. I have flat feet, so I always look for shoes with great arch support. These fit the bill, and the also provide a deep heel cup for stability of my foot, which my podiatrist says is super important. Overall, these slippers are just very comfortable!

I have two pair of Orthaheel slippers, these and the mule style. They are the greatest! I have narrow flat feet, these fit comfortably because of the Velcro closure. Have had 4 foot surgeries and my Dr. recommended these.

These work great for me. I have a very high arch and these give me the support I need around the house. They are very comfortable. I usually wear a 7 wide but the 6 in these fit perfect. I had purchased a sandal in this brand and the 7 fit a little big which is why I tried the 6.

These slippers are very comfortable. I wear them when I am home and forget they are on. They seem durable and can be worn outside as well. I would highly recommend these slippers. Of note, It did take a day to get used to them because they are are ergonomically designed.

Orthaheel Relax Slippers are the best slippers in my opinion you can have when you suffer from Plantar Fascia or would like a nice comparable slipper. This is the best investment I made on slippers. The adjustable strap makes it easy for the summers/winters to add socks. (I live in Wisconsin) I would recommend Orthaheels! Zappos was extra speed on deliver time. I order them in the evening and received them the next day!

My favorite slipper; I have plantar fasciitis and there is no other slipper that provides this quality of support.

My feet and knees have been saved by the firm support of Orthaheel and similar shoes. I was wearing their flip flops for slippers but I love these because they have a little padding in the footbed. They aren't dainty, but they aren't too clunky, either. I love the polka dots with my black robe. The Velcro strap is back a little farther than I expected and shows my toes and foot in front, but I got used to that quickly because they stay on well. Orthaheel isn't for everyone, and I recommend wearing them for short periods at first. But they help align knees and hips and have saved me a lot of pain. I wear an 8 or 8.5 in street and athletic shoes, but I wear a 7 in Orthaheel.

If you have any problems with your the arch and/or heel of your foot, this slipper is a must. When I was wearing just scuff slippers, my feet started cramping up -- especially on hardwood floors. It was getting so bad that I could hardly walk in a regular slipper. I love these slippers because they give me the support I need. I have also put them in the washer although that is not recommended. I let them air dry. They came out perfect. I understand rug cleaner works very well. I go for the darker colors because pastels get pretty grimy in no time.

So warm and comfortable for my tailor's bunion and plantar fascia! I wear it in the house all the time. I'm also happy that the velcro strap allows room for my wide feet (with bunion on the side).

Extremely comfortable...I have plantar fasciitis. Now, if I do not wear the slippers in the house, my feet ache! Great slippers!

First of all, not leather, an important criteria for me. Second, cute as can be and so comfortable!

I have Plantars Fasciitis and arthritis and have been wearing Orthaheels for almost a year. I did not have Orthaheel slippers and wanted my feet to be protected because of all the tile in my Florida home. These slippers felt heavenly from the first minute. I will definitely go back for more.

I bought these to wear after cheilectomy (removal of bone spurs from big toe). They have a sturdy but cushiony foot-bed & the non-slip sole is heavy-duty enough to wear outside. The soft straps are adjustable with velcro. These are very comfy & they are going to be my slippers from now on, surgery or no!

I wear these everyday in my house, which has hardwood floors that has contributed to my foot problems. Since wearing these and other Orthaheel shoes, my plantar fasciitis is much better. I will be purchasing the closed toe slippers for the winter months.

Great slippers. Got these during my pregnancy, when my feet started to really hurt due to ligament laxity and a twisted ankle. These took the pain away and kept my foot in proper alignment for healing. Also really good for anyone who is "flat-footed" or a pronator. They look a little goofy, but hey, they're slippers!

I love these slippers. They keep my feet on soft, yet stable cushioning while I walk around my place which is full of hardwood floors!
