Due to shuffling my feet around the house in bare feet or poor slipper support, I ended up with Achilles Insertion (tightening of the achilles near the heel bone). My Vionic slippers make me use the full walk motion of my foot, they have a good arch support and I am now pain free. Very comfortable slipper for winter because you can adjust the velcro on the slipper to allow wearing socks to keep your feet warm. The summer, they can be a little warm but still a comfortable slipper overall. Just the other day, I almost left for work, still wearing my slippers. Yep. That comfortable!

I have worn them every day since being delivered. Delivery was also super quick -- next day. I really like them. They are very comfortable and supportive and run true to size and width. The velcro also makes them adjustable.

Immediate improvement in feet pain. I live in them and hate to take them off when I go out! Adjustable Velcro.

These slippers are amazing! I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis for several months to the point I could barely walk at times. A few weeks of wearing these slippers in the house and never going barefoot, and my foot is 95% better. Of course, I am also wearing more supportive shoes outside, so that helped. These shoes are also very comfortable and supportive and have a Velcro strap on the top to make them tighter or looser. I highly recommend these!

I love these! I have had bunions since I was 8 and about a year ago my doctor said there was no way possible for me to avoid surgery. But I've tried dozens of products and some have worked better than others. I love my "toe correctors" for exercising and "bunion splints" for wearing inside my slippers. But these are truly excellent for bunions and overpronation. I can wear these pain free and I have 3 pairs of orthaheels. I have finally gotten back to running when I couldn't walk just a year and a half ago!! I also have a bunion stretcher that I bought on amazon that I use inside all of my shoes but I didn't have to use it for theses since they are adjustable!

Very comfortable! These are perfect for me on multiple counts...the tan color is a nice neutral in a world over-full of pastel slippers and the open-toe slide style is a wonderful alternative for those of us who like open toes for summer but don't care for the feel of thong-style slippers. Thanks, Zappos, for carrying options a little outside the norm!

I bought these slippers on the advice of my podiatrist after experiencing two stress fractures in my feet. He recommended this brand and said I should never go barefoot so I wear these whenever I am home. They are very comfortable and provide the support I need. And so far, no more stress fractures!

I had foot surgery to remove a mole on instep + I have plantar fasciitis and a bone chip on same foot. What a relief when I stepped into these; wish I'd ordered them sooner. Although they don't "improve" the plantar fasciitis, they really soften the blow when foot hits the surface. My feet are wide, so I appreciate that they are roomy and adjustable.

I had terrible heel pain from the tile floors in my house. Within hours of first wearing these slippers, the pain was gone. Highly recommend these slippers!

These are great. They have a good support in the arch and have a good cushion. I would buy them again.

Good fit - needed ab open toe slipper with cushioning for Achilles tendinitis heel pain. A bit expensive is the big drawback

I love these slippers. They are so supportive and comfortable and cute. I ordered the leopard print slippers and they are really cute. I have been having some ankle problems for some time and my daughter recommended these slippers. I have worn them around the house now for a few weeks and I find that my ankle is feeling much better. Very supportive and comfortable. So cute that I feel like wearing them outside the home.

My doc recommended these for my rheumatoid arthritis in my foot. I wear these instead of going barefoot at home and my feet feel so much better. The sole is a nice durable material so they're like a very comfy shoe. They're pricey for slippers, otherwise, I would buy a second pair.

I absolutely love doing business with Zappos.com. I live in a small town (3,000 population) and we have an Alco for shopping. Without online shopping, I would have to travel a minimum of 80 miles round trip to shop for shoes and this town isn't huge, 37,000 population. Zappos.com allows me to order shoes with free shipping and free returns if they don't fit. They have been excellent about refunding my credit card with returns and their customer service people are great to work with. The shipments are always quick and the shoes arrive in excellent condition. As I said above, I really do love shopping with Zappos.com. They are my favorite online shoe store. Also, I have diabetic feet with lots of problems and Zappos.com allows me a good variety of wide shoes to choose from. This is extremely important to me.

I have had plantar fasciitis for 5 months now and these slippers have helped a lot. My foot doctor said not to go barefoot in the house anymore so this is why I bought these slippers. Other reviewers had good things to say about these slippers so I thought why not try them. I am glad that I did. Very comfortable. Some reviewers complained about the tag on the underside of the velcro enclosure was scratchy.On mine the left foot tag was scratchy.I just took a seam ripper that I have in my sewing box and removed it.I listened to other reviewers who said the slipper ran big.I am a size 10M and got a size 9 and it fit perfect.I have seen these same slippers in a medical store where I live and they were over my budget. The price is good here on Zappos and if you do not like them Zappos has a great return policy.I would highly recommend these slippers.

I love these slippers. I have plantars fasciitis and these are a life saver, I put them on as soon as I walk in the door. My only complaint is that I wish they were cooler, I live in Arizona and we really don't need warm fuzzy slippers.

This slipper eliminated my heel pain in just a week or so. (I had suffered with heel pain for a year!) I will definitely buy Vionic Orthaheel slippers and shoes in the future!

I love these slippers! They are great now that the weather is warmer. They are comfortable and I could wear them all day! They offer support and that is good for me who has had ankle surgery three times!

This slipper was exactly what I needed. I ordered the black terry in a size 8, which is usually what I wear in flats (8 1/2 in heels) and the size was just right. I do have wide feet. I can see why someone with very narrow feet might have trouble getting the velcro to adjust tightly enough for the foot not to slide out. I bought this shoe when I moved into a new place that had hardwood and tile floors all over the downstairs. I knew I needed both cushion and orthotic support. I slip them on the as soon as I get out of bed and keep them on until I need to put on other shoes to go out. They set my feet in a perfect position so I feel no foot or leg pain. They have not gotten nasty or smelly from all the wear, either. I do not think they are the prettiest shoes I own, by any stretch -- they're a little "Peppermint Patty" (from the Peanuts) -- but their cuteness has grown on me. I gave it four stars for style, but to be fair, I couldn't design a shoe that does what this one does to be more attractive than this one.

I love these slippers! Prior to having plantar fasciitis and a torn meniscus, I used to go barefoot around the house.We don't like to wear our shoes in the house. These slippers are perfect, because the support is equal to the other Vionics products. Since they have Velcro, they are not sloppy on my feet like the Tide flip flops. They are cozy and well made.

These are the best slippers. The instep is high. Perfect for a high arch. The velco is easy for adjusting the width and the arch support. It conforms to your foot. They are super soft. Great slipper for foot problems and arthritic knees. I recommend that you order down a full size down. I usually wear a size 8.5 and I ordered a size 7. I read the reviews and decided to order down a size and a half. They fit perfect!

I love these slippers! They have helped me live with the pain from my pttd. I wear them all the time when I am in the house and switch them out for other orthaheels when I go outside. However, they do get dirty and I wash them and they look like new. I will order more when these wear out.

Had been having trouble with heel pain upon wearing them have saved my life. Found out I had planter fasciitis . Very painful. Not suppose to go barefoot. These slippers have saved my life. Reduces pain, ordered same brand in a closed toe shoe and sandal, have not received yet can hardly wait. Resting a foot is hard.

I use these as my 'house shoes', so I wear them all day every day. I came here to give them a bad review, thinking I'd had them less than a year, because you see, they are falling apart. I looked up my order history to confirm, and I realized I've owned them almost 2 years! I decided that was a pretty great life span for a shoe worn as often as I wear these. The structure of the shoe is still fine, but I have worn away the fabric under my toes and the side of my foot. I'm ordering another pair, because I still find them to be a good value, considering how long they lasted! My only comment is that they did take awhile to break in and felt rather stiff for several weeks. Aside from that, they are great. They aren't pretty. But they are comfortable, they adjust easily with velcro so I can wear them with socks or without. I wear a 7.5, and an 8 in athletic shoes. I ordered a 7 in this slipper and it's perfect.

Love these slippers. Great if you have plantar fascia. I own one of the other style also, plus sneakers, sandals of the Orthaheel vionic brand. This is all I wear for at work and at home. Worth the extra money you pay to be pain free.
