I rated these as true to size but note that Vionic recommends if you wear a half size that you go down not up. Contrary to some other comments: these shoes are not incredibly heavy. If you have normal legs they feel like normal shoes! They are not inflexible, they are a dense sole but not awkwardly so. Width is fine, adjustable velcro allows for modification to suit socks or bare feet, narrow or wider feet. Silky feeling material is nice in the footbed, arch support is excellent and good for plantar fasciitis.

Welcome relief from beginning plantar fasciitis. I wear them constantly in the house. Before I bought these slippers I always went barefoot in the house as is the custom here in Hawai'i. The instructions were not to wash them in the washer, but I could not get them clean using surface cleaners. I put them in the washer with our biking gear, i.e. cold water, Free and Clear detergent, no fabric softener, lay flat to dry, and they came out fine, but I've only done it once.

This style was labeled as M but was so wide I ran out of velcro to hold it on. Probably comfortable if you have a extra wide foot.

I have recently developed pain in the ball of my foot. I can no longer walk barefoot in my house. These slippers have great arch support and I like the funky pink leopard pattern. I will say that Orthaheel runs very large. I normally wear a 7.5 and had to go with a 6 in Orthaheel. But now that I know I am a 6, all Orthaheel 6 shoes seem to fit me. I am happy with the purchase.

I really like Orthaheel, but these need some improvement. I found them to be very wide, a size long and too clunky for a slipper. Would love it if they made those changes!

I read the other reviews and they were correct about these slippers running big. I wish there was more Velcro since I have narrow feet. Otherwise, these are quite comfortable and supportive.

I have a bit of a knee problem and wanted slippers to give me support. These were the perfect fit for me. I can stand for long periods of time and have no problem with my knees or feet. I also like the adjustable Velcro strap. I love them.

Do wish they had half sizes. Some of us are true half sizes. Go size down for open toes. And size up for the closed toes.

I have a tear in my Achilles tendon and was told by my orthopedic doctor that I need to wear shoes and slippers with at least a 1" heel. These slippers are most comfortable, and since you can adjust the closure with Velcro, they are a tremendous help, since my foot is always swollen. They have helped alleviate the pain I was having in my foot at the end of the day. I would recommend them. Even if you have no foot problems. Comfort and style, what more can you ask for?

Love these Vionic sandals as my house slippers. I was looking for a slipper that had support & had a rigid sole and these are perfect! They’re very comfortable- would definitely purchase again.

This is my second pair of these slippers. The first pair helped so much when I had plantar fasciitis. I have recovered from that but the slippers are so comfortable and provide such great support that I will continue to wear them all the time in the house. I am nornally a 9 in shoes so the sizing felt true to size for me.

If you are looking for a slipper with similar firm support that the Tide sandal or the Melissa mule provide, this is it! Soft like a slipper...firm arch support. Your feel stay cool with the open toe design and they are adjustable. Love them!

I've had these about two weeks so I can't yet speak to their longevity. I can speak to the time it takes to get used to them. Like any new "orthotic" - as the foot bed of this slipper mimics - it takes time for the body to adjust to the change at the foundation (under your feet). The first day I could only wear them for a short while. Each day for about a week I was able to increase that time. But I will say it was a full week before my back adjusted to the (positive) change in support to my feet and so my lower back ached for that full week. So give yourself time to adjust... anytime you change something "foundationally" that adjustment time is necessary. Now, after two weeks, I'm loving the support. I work from home so I wear these more often than I wear most shoes.

I am a size 7 and the size 7 was perfect. I have wide feet so love the adjustable Velcro. In about 2 days of wearing them, they have totally molded to my feet. The outer material is soft and cozy and I thought the color I selected is fun. I can’t walk barefoot around the house anymore because of a big toe issue so this is an amazing product for me since they have a thicker, stiffer bottom sole. I’m very pleased.

These are the best slippers I have ever had! I've suffered with plantar fasciitis for the past 2 years. The Orthaheel sandals and sneakers have been very comfortable so I decided to try the slippers. They are true to size, very good arch support, deep heel bed and are soft and warm. I have been wearing them for about 5 weeks daily and love them!

I have recently developed plantar fasciitus in one of my feet. I needed something to wear in the house on our hardwood/tile floors. These slippers are amazing. They have alleviated much of my heel pain. (and I am seeing a doctor for the condition) I never knew arch support was so important. I bought Orthaheel sandals late in the summer and they are great too. I plan to buy more Orthaheel shoes and take care of my feet, legs and back. Make more styles please. Zappos has great delivery times!

I had a hard time giving up my sheepskin Uggs, but have developed plantar fasciitis and need slippers that ergonomically fit my feet and have great arch support due to my high arches. Love, love, love these slippers. Got the pink cheetah print. It took a couple days for my feet to get used to the correct ergonomics and arch support, but I live in these things when at home. The material is very soft and can be tightened or loosened to your liking with the Velcro straps. The feet are doing much better with the support and cushioning.

The fit was just right, the fabric is soft and comfy, nice arch support. But they were clunky to walk in - I wish they had a strap around the heel, to keep them from flopping when walking. They were just too clumsy for me. I am 82 years old and I can't take a chance on falling! Sorry to return them.

I have worn Vionic slippers for years. As a medical professional I've recommended them to patients, friends and family. They are the only slippers that help my Plantar Facsiitis, in addition to offering the best support overall of any slipper I've owned. However, all agree the fabric wears away or splits too quickly, regardless of the style slipper we buy. Most pairs I've purchased are lucky to last 3 months without the fabric peeling off or splitting. Considering the cost of these slippers this should not happen so quickly. As I've said for years, everyone I've recommended the Vionic slippers to can't understand why the Vionic bean counters don't realize that if they improved on the quality of the fabric they'd increase sales! For now, many I've referred to Vionic have stopped buying them because of the defective fabric. The manufacturer and their vendors, including Zappos, have known about this problem for years but as long as they keep selling to individuals like me and others who benefit from the great support they offer, there will obviously never be an earnest effort by the manufacturer to improve on the substandard material that continues to be used.

This is my third order for these Vionic slippers. They fit well and are very comfortable. They stay on my feet and are definitely my go to slippers. A quality slipper. They only last two years which is just fine!

These slippers have a built in arch support! These are wonderful. I have very flat feet and these provide the support I need. Do not expect them to be super flexible, if they were they would not be so supportive. They are great for overpronators like me! Also the top has Velcro so I could adjust it and make them a little more snug.

This is another Orthaheel success story! I ordered them yesterday. Came home from a 12 hour shift, my feet screaming for comfort and voila! There appeared my Orthaheel slippers. I own 7 pairs of the sandals and was using them as slippers. I wanted something a bit more cushy, suitable for my "nesting" moments. These are the most delicious slippers I have ever owned. If they were able, my feet would applaud! They are true to size. Width is adjustable. Orthaheel you've done it again...please get back to the drawing board and create more styles...boots, mary Janes and Gladiators. AAAAAAAh says it all!

When I am doing housework in bare feet I often end up with terrible pain in the arches of my feet. That sent me searching for slippers such as these. The endorsement by Dr. Andrew Weil helped sway me to pick these over other slippers. They were a bit more than I was planning on spending, but I don't regret the purchase. As long as I wear these around the house, my feet feel great. As others have said, these are not super fluffy, cushy slippers. These are supportive, and fairly firm. But if you're looking for support, then you don't want something that is too soft. These are perfect in that respect. I have fairly pudgy feet, and I have had to adjust the velcro top quite a bit to make them small enough that they stay on my feet. That makes me worry that if they stretch out much then I'll have to buy a new pair soon. I've had them about a month and haven't had to do anymore adjusting yet, though. I really wish that these came in plain black. It would really make up for how unattractive they are. As it stands, I got the leopard print thinking that it will not show wear as quickly as the light colors. As long as these last me at least 6 months, I will most definitely buy another pair when this pair wears out.

I've been so disappointed in these slippers. Very uncomfortable and the fabric started coming apart after wearing them for a few months. Tread is barely worn but the fabric is falling apart! I would not recommend these at all. Shame on me for not contacting Zappos sooner. ??
