Whoops! Just checked my Chacos and they too have a recessed heel bed so this Orthaheel is very similar but not as heavy in the sole. Chances are if you fit Chacos, you'll fit these!
I'd also recommend:

OK, the great search is over! Thanks, Zappos for your patience and able assistance! Have never tried this brand before. While I agree leather would have been a plus I would have paid the difference for, the pewter color is lovely, a rich, deep bluish gray, not the paler, silvery one that appears on my monitor! Straps feel quite pliant unlike some leather ones I've tried on other sandals in the past week! The man made liner is no different than the anti-microbial ones in Merrells (my used-to-be favorite brand) and a bit warm but I am used to my old Merrells. Just took them out of the box about an hour ago and have been trying them out in the house. The instructions recommend a slower break-in to adjust to the higher, stiffer arch. So far, they feel a lot like my Chacos, very firm arch support and a deeper heel bed (Chacos are cushier instead). Like the adjustable straps although the one on the mid-foot could have had more adjustment and is probably indicative that a narrow footed person would not fit these but if you are medium or wider with volume to your feet, you will be fine! As for fit, I can still wear 7M in some brands of sandals but find as I age, my feet can now fit some 7.5M sandals. Being able to get 1/2 sizes in a brand is a plus for me and I had hesitations about this brand but they seem to fit my feet as a 7M used to! I seem to fit these much better than Fitflops, my sister's recommendation last summer for problem feet. Now will recommend these to her for this summer and feel like I've done her poor feet a good turn!

I am a size five, but the front strap rubbed against my pinky. So I switched to size 6, hoping it might work, but then the arch is too high for my right foot. It took me wearing for two days at home to realize it is not a good fit. I like the style and hoping to find a style that would fit my feet.

This is my second pair of Orthaheel shoes that I have bought. Both really help my planters fasciitis. The flip-flops were narrower and these a bit wider. I would prefer that they be narrower as well. Also they are not really a white, more of a cream color and they are also pearlized, which I did not expect and do not particularly like. The delivery was on time with no problems.

I love the concept of this shoe. I have had plantar and knee issues and understand that my shoe choices can help. This shoe has great arch support. Without half sizes, I needed to compromise between a good enough length/width fit on the smaller size or shoes that fit like "surf boards" on my feet. Sandal slips a bit. Don't understand why function and style aren't considered equally. The footbed is printed to look like cork. It wears off and you see through to the orange base. Why don't they just use a solid through color foot bed? And will anyone ever have a good summer light neutral color? Orthaheel needs to bring up it's style/finish standards. They can do better and expand their market.

The footbed and arch support are outstanding. I wish the upper part of the shoe was leather. The straps are a little stiff to adjust even with the Velcro. I wonder why have such a great bottom of the shoe and then use fake leather on top? Please give us a leather version.

I like this sandal for the arch support and heel shape, but I would love it more if it were not made of plastic. Maybe another generation will have at least a leather lined foot bed.

Have suffered with plantar fasciitis for over a year now. Being treated by podiatrist and she suggested Orthaheel shoes for the hot summer. Love the support and comfort. Don't look like orthotic shoes of the past.

These slide are very comfortable with lots of good arch support. My sore feet felt wonderful in them. Sadly, they are just as ugly as some of the other reviewers have described. I just can't bring myself to wear them in public so I will be trying something else.

If you need arch support as I do, this shoe is made to fill that need. It isn't the prettiest shoe I've ever worn, but it does the job just fine.

While these sandals offer the unbeatable comfort of Orthaheel particularly for plantar fascia sufferers the vinyl upper does not warrant the price. The plastic straps over my insteps are uncomfortable and stick to my skin. Orthaheel should have done better.

I bought these and returned them. They were very wide looking and made my feet look like boats. I have two other pairs of Orthaheel sandals (Lori) and those do not have that problem.

Excellent in comfort; however, after only a month the "cork" finish began to come off of the sandal footbed.

I have very narrow feet and have had several foot fractures. I have pain on a daily basis but I needed to do something to help relieve the pain. I decided to try the Orthaheel adjustable slide and just love them. You should follow the recommended break-in time and then they are very comfortable. Good purchase.

I have very flat feet and have searched for sandals that I can wear. The Orthaheel products certainly fit that bill. The only shoe I can wear comfortably!

This is the second Orthaheel sandal I have ordered, and it is just as comfortable as the first. I have problem feet: high arch, bunions, hammertoes, and this sandal is comfortable to wear for hours.

These shoes are a true blessing! I have suffered with PF for so long, and finding attractive shoes that I can wear to work is so difficult. Orthaheel shoes make me pain free! I wish, however, that they came in wide widths and in more styles. I'm set for summer with sandals, but without 'regular' shoes, I don't know what I'll do in the fall! But for now, these Orthaheel sandals are a dream!

Cute & comfortable! I've worn orthotics for years & have struggled with sandals but these have a good arch so I can wear them without my orthotics and without pain! They are a great option!

I love Orthaheel. I prefer the slide with the three straps though. This one is not as flattering to my rather long toes. The gold is more of a light gold. I think I would have prefered a more burnished shade. If you have beautiful feet and legs, this shoe is cute and would work with dresses or shorts.

Love these put right on and instant comfort to your feet. They are not clunky like some comfy shoes. I usually wear a 10 1/2 so you just tighten the straps and they are fine.

I have finally found my summer shoe that I can wear with my chronic PF. The adjustable straps are great when my feet swell in the afternoon heat. I usually take a 7 1/2 in size but I take a 8 in this style. Perfect for anyone with foot problems. I plan on buying every color in this Orthaheel shoe, and only purchasing them from Zappos.

I love these shoes! When my Dr directed me to start wearing more supportive shoes, I was dismayed to find that the website he suggested did not have shoes for wide-width feet. So I came back to Zappos! While these shoes are indicated for a "medium" width, they run a bit wide (yay!) and the velco straps help there too. The supportive footbed takes a while to get used to, but it makes a huge difference. Wish they came in a light tan-type color -- I'd get another pair!
