I bought the brown pair from a local store a few weeks ago. I am usually an 8, but I bought 8.5, which fit perfectly. The back of the ankle part seems to hit against my legs when I walk fast, but I do have thicker ankles. I was initially very happy with the boots; they were comfy and warm, and cute-looking. It rained today, however, and after I walked my dog for about ten minutes my toes were wet. The rest of the walk was not pleasant. If they did not claim that the boots were waterproof (which the store person repeated), I would be happier with the boots. Part of me is hoping that they will hold up better against dry snow, but I may ask the local store for a refund or some kind of store credit to make up for the defect.

These were comfortable walking eight miles easily. Claim to be waterproof. NOT. My feet are wet from water (dew) on the grass. A waste of money if you want dry feet. I purchased them strictly for dry, warm feet while I walk a mail route in freezing cold and ice. If my feet are wet just from moisture on the grass, I'm thinking snow and ice and freezing weather means freezing miserable feet in these boots. They are comfortable right out the box. I have narrow feet so I use an insole and wear thick wool socks. If I hadn't worn them outside and got them wet from the grass I'd get my money back! I'll stick with UGGs.

First, as always, Zappos rocks! Hands down the best online shoe ordering web site. This boot is great. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews. I know it's not quite as "fashion boot" as some of the others in its class, but I think it is a nice middle ground. They are super cozy with the fleece lining. Seem true to size. I am a size 9 and they fit perfect. The calf is a little bit large on me, but I figure that is the breaks with almost any boot. I live in AK where it is just stinking cold, so I need a boot that is both cute and practical. This one fits the bill!

I love these boots--they look cute and they keep my feet nice and warm. The first time I wore them they chafed the side of my ankle a little, but they're fine now, so I think I just needed to break them in. I haven't tried them out in really wet conditions yet, but they've seemed fine when it's damp out. I did spray them with two coats of leather waterproofer and stain repellent before I started wearing them, just to be on the safe side. The "Cajun" color is a little bit lighter than it looks in the picture. I like that these boots are practical enough to wear outdoors in Buffalo winters, but still look nice enough to wear at work.

This is a great boot. It is not heavy or clunky. Beautifully made and comfortable. I ordered a 7.5 (normal size) and an 8. I could actually wear either, but the 8 was just a little better. I don't want to be limited to the type of sock I wear with them. There was not a huge difference, though. I would recommend going up.

Super comfy. Not "Uggish"...just right. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. Super cute and warm.

I agree with an earlier review. Definitely not waterproof. I wore these during a slushy Chicago winter day, and my toes were wet. Also, the sizing is a little tighter than expected ~ it may be due to the thick lining. Super-cute, but not what I was looking for.

These are great Boots! I normally wear 9½, which is what I ordered. They fit great, if you want to wear with extra thick socks, I do think you should go up half a size. They have very comfortable footbed, not just flat. I have thin legs and there is plenty of room to tuck jeans in. I live in the San Francisco Bay and so I have not worn them in slushy ice, but so far they keep my feet toasty warm.

I ordered several pairs of boots to wear on a wintry trip. These were my favorite. Fit well, nice and warm and looked good both under pants and over leggings. The buttons on the side are sewn in so you can't roll them down very far for that shearling look but they are cute anyway.

I love these boots!! They are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've had. They are very warm and keep my feet dry and warm in snow. I did spray it several times before I wore them the first time. I highly recommend these boots if you have big calves like I do. They fit well even with bootcut jeans!

I love these boots. They are comfortable warm and make my feet feel cozy. Even though I live in a warm climate I still love to wear them.

These boots are adorable. I ordered Cajun and was expecting a toned-down cayenne-red color. Instead they are a gorgeous dusty rose that is beautiful yet versatile. The lining is warm but I think it contributes to a snugger fit. The foot felt narrow and even in medium-weight Smartwool socks my feet felt scrunched. I think that with wear they would stretch. The boot otherwise feels great, like a moccasin. Unfortunately they are going back as they're just too nice of a boot... I am looking for something I'm willing to get scratched up and worn in, and these are a little too dressy. If i didn't already have a dress pair of boots, I'd totally keep them.

A great boot! I'm wearing them now! I usually wear a size 6.5 but I buy a half size up so I can put on thicker socks in winter. These seem to run a tad small, but as they're lined, I'm hoping that I will still get the same insulating effect with a light pair of wool socks. Time will tell!

Super comfortable, super warm, and cute! I love these. They are not as clunky looking as Uggs--don't make your feet look huge. It's also nice to have the side zipper for putting them on over pants that are a little bulkier.

These boots are a perfect fit. I ordered my normal size. They are so much fun to wear.

This boot ran a little small for me so I went for a half size up. Very comfortable and warm and perfect for jeans or skirts. Hasn't snowed yet so we'll see about that but I love em anyway.

These boots cut into the underside of my outer ankles and tear off the skin when I walk in them! I have wounds on both my ankles right now because of them. They are fine for maybe walking to the car, but not if you plan to walk more than a block in them at a time. Also, they claim to be waterproof but I felt moisture in them when out walking in wet weather. They are super cute and feel warm & cozy if you're not walking in them. They also do not provide the extra traction they claim. I must have slipped 50 times when out walking in them in icy/snowy weather! Meanwhile, my boyfriend didn't slip once, and he was wearing regular construction boots. He kept having to catch me so I wouldn't fall.

These boots are comfortable and and seem very well made. They are warm, and the leather is very smooth and nice. I have gotten several compliments on these boots. They are great!

Boots arrived just as all Zappos products do, early. This company defines shipping and customer service. My wife loves the boots and when the wife's happy, the husband is happy. Thank you Zappos!

bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She loves them, very warm and comfy. Great running around boot for winter.

I have searched high and low for boots and after reading a good review on these I decided to try them. They are a little stiff at first but break in nicely. They are well made and are warm and very comfortable. Once I put them on I end up not wanting to take them off.

I love these boots! They're stylish without being too trendy. Perfect for an "outdoorsy chic" look. They do seem to run a bit small. I ordered an 8.5 and 9, but have to go up to 9.5.
