I have always had a special attachment for Seavees. However, in the past the shoes, for me now, seemed to always run narrow. These chukkas have plenty of width and the quality is way beyond my expectations. The did, for me, run one half size small. In other words, where I normally wear a 9.5, a 10 worked just fine for me. The suedes are more soft and comfortable than most comparables, in my opinion anyway. If yor're looking for a comfortable pr of chukkas I highly recommend these. And they have 'leather' options, as well as suede. Nice job Seavees and, as is always the case, superb and just unbeatable service by the whole Zappos team and process. Thanks so much!

These are the best looking Chukkas that I have seen and they are comfortable and well-built. They are possibly a half size too big (maybe a quarter size) but I'm okay with the extra room in these particularly shoes - they don't make it uncomfortable or too flimsy or anything (so I'm going to mark it true to size). I haven't walked very long distances with these on but I can't really foresee a possible blister/problem area. The top part is flexible enough so that it isn't cutting into your leg. They also aren't especially hot - I've been wearing them in 90+ degree weather and have been surviving. They scratch fairly easily but that's simply how this leather is. They look great and feel good. There isn't much else to say. Obviously more expensive than a lot of similar shoes but I think these look better and I am not regretting paying more for shoes that I really like.

Was debating between the Seavees 12/67 and Clarks Desert Boots and ultimately went with the Seavees. I read a ton of great reviews of both and they ultimately seemed to be the same product by different companies, with Seavees being more expensive. Decided to go with the Seavees as I've never owned a pair before and I have a pair of Clarks boat shoes, which I love, but the sole started to separate from the rest of the shoe after a few wears. These Seavees look great and fit slightly larger than what I would wear in other brands of boots. They look great with pants or shorts. Only owned for a few days, so unsure of the durability of the shoe yet.

These are great shoes, period. They look great with jeans, but can easily be dressed up with trousers, chinos, khakis, etc. The sole is cushiony and absorbent, but feels very lightweight -- some similar styles can make you aware of their weight at all times. The stitching and leather are high quality, and although it's a minor feature, the SeaVees laces provide a nice accent against those colors. They are a little more expensive than other chukkas out there, but I'm glad I spent the money, and love that they come in a variety of styles. Tips on buying: take advantage of Zappos return policies. For a couple reasons, I tried three pairs before settling on one. The first reason was fit; these shoes run small -- I normally wear 10.5 but ended with an 11. Even with the half-size up, they were a pretty snug initially but broke in nicely after a week or two (something else to keep in mind). The second reason was look, specifically the Cigar Pull Up style. In person, they have a much darker, almost weathered look to them, and I've noticed other reviews say the same. For what it's worth, the Brass Waxed Leather look very true to the pictures.

I have looked at and tried on many chukkas. Seavees sees to have the edge on quality and comfort, in my opinion. Their sizes are some times a struggle...but if you wear around the home to check the size, as you know, Zappos makes is simple to exchange. I had to go from a 9.5. to a 10...and also, the suedes seem to come soft to the with such out of the gate comfort, which the leathers take just a day or so breaking in but not that painful breaking either...just enough time to allow the leather to conform to your feet. Their nice mix of suedes and leathers allow one to get a pair for nicer days in suede and wetter days in leather...and nice color selection. Thanks Seavees, you get better every year...and thanks for widening room in the shoes. And Zappos words cannot express how great you and your team have been to be a so many decision/change points...your staff is always upbeat, friendly and eager to help, without exception. I really wanted to like the shoes. They look great. However, the fit is a problem. I usually wear size 9, regular width. Based on reviews, I knew this shoe runs small, so I ordered 9.5. That fit, but was a little too snug in the toes, and I could feel the middle seam on the inside (the vertical one from the arch up) -- more than would be comfortable. I thought that maybe a half size up was not enough and exchanged for size 10. That felt too big, yet I could still feel that seam. I get the need to wear the shoes in...but this is too much. For a shoe that's this price, I expected much better fit. Returned, disappointed.

I had high hopes for these boots given the price and almost all of what you read is true. They are a stylish pair that will do you right if given the opportunity. However, I received mine and instantly noticed they were a half to a full size too small. With the soft rubber soles I knew it was over for returns once worn off of carpet. I trusted the reviews that said the leather would stretch to fit your foot perfectly like a glove and I regretfully believed it and had some nights with sore feet to attribute to it. I even took them to a professional shoe repair place who put inserts in them to make it better, all to no avail. So now I have a pair of very expensive boots that I cannot wear comfortably. Go at least half a size up and if you have doubts when you receive them at all send them back.

Took me so much courage to shop online for shoes, but I'm glad I did again with this one. I've been disappointed way too many times with either fit and style, but my first ever Seavees shoes hit all the the right spot of what I have been looking for in a pair of shoe. Love the soft leather feel and I am extremely satisfied with the style, great for dress up and casual looks. Definitely going to recommended this to friends and will buy more of this amazing shoes int the future

I really like SeaVees shoes! This is the fourth pair of SeaVees that I own and really love the sophisticated casual style. Quality and style are always A+. The only complaint that I have these shoes is that they run larger than their other shoes. I usually wear a 10½ in SeaVees; so that is what I bought. They were huge. So I ordered a 9½. They were so tight that my feet were jammed in. Now after a third time I think we have it right with a 10.

I purchased these SeaVees Chukkas for my son for Christmas. He really liked them but we noticed the two shoes looked different. They are meant to be a nubby grain shoe but one was smoother and it made it appear lighter in color. I will be returning. I ordered another pair and they came and are perfect. I bought these for a wedding I was in. They are super comfortable. They look great too, I got quite a few compliments on them.

This is a well made and high quality shoe. I had to return my original order for a size larger which was unusual for me. Zappos made the return and exchange a snap.

The service was fantastic. I received my shoes right away with no problems whatsoever. Zappos does good work. The shoes themselves are wonderful. These chukkas did take a few days to break in (during which they caused minimal rubbing on my heels). However, once they were broken in, they quickly became my favorite pair of shoes. These are so comfortable, sometimes I even forget I'm wearing them. Get a pair and you won't regret it, trust me.

Buy these shoes! BUY THESE SHOES! I was a little skeptical about the price at first and if these shoes would be worth it... bottom line: yes, they are! The leather is soft, doesn't hurt your ankles and is of excellent quality. The stitching looks sharp and the shoes are very stylish... but the main reason to buy these shoes is that they are insanely comfortable. They're my go-to shoes now!

I've purchased 8 pairs of shoes from Zappos and this is by far my favorite shoe. I've gotten a ton of compliments so that obviously confirms how attractive it looks (especially with jeans). The leather is supple and the comfort is unsurpassed. The only problem is that it runs a half size small. I'm an 8.5 with every shoe and had to order a 9 for this shoe to fit comfortably.

Great shoes! I have always worn Doc Marten's as my casual shoe but recently noticed a decline in quality, which prompted my search for a better shoe and I found it. The leather uppers are thick enough to warrant the price yet they are soft and pliable which makes them feel as if they are already broken in. These boots felt comfortable right out of the box and I wear them several times a week. I am happy with SeaVees and Zappos.

Loved these the moment I put them on. Comfortable and a great look. Was eyeing the John Varvatos chukkah, however, it was impossible to get into them if you have high arches. No problems here.

I bought these for my boyfriend. He loves them, and they look great. He says they are very comfortable, "They feel like slippers, they form to my foot." They are absolutely nice enough for both business casual and casual dress.

By far the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. Right out of the box comfortable. Leather softened up right away and love love love the sole. Width is perfect for any weight socks. I wear them everyday. Totally worth the price.

It's been really hard for me to find a pair of casual shoes that don't make me hate my feet by the end of the day. These SeaVees are awesome. They took practically no time to break in (maybe 1 or 2 wears), and they fit true to size. The sole of the shoe is the same as a Wallabee - so if the "shedding" doesn't bother you, you'll love these.
