I have several pairs of AG Angel Stretch cords in various colors, and I wanted them in black as well. Typically, the fit is wonderful and the cords have the perfect amount of stretch, which explains why the company suggests sizing down. Unfortunately,the black cords I ordered do not fit the same as the other colors. They are much tighter, and they feel a full size smaller than the other colors that AG makes. If you're ordering the black cords, definitely do not size down.

I bought these in the tan color, and they are so soft stretchy and comfortable. I'm usually a 28, but they only had 1 pair left in a 29 and it fit fine. So they don't run big, I would say true to size or close to it. Thanks again, AG and Zappos!

These are the best! Super black! Slimming! And so comfortable! I'm 5'7 and have to wear 5" heels, so they aren't too long. But they make your legs look so long. I normally wear a 27 in designer jeans and these fit perfect! Love. I already bought a second pair in a different color. Zappos, of course, had them to my door step the day after I ordered and I wore them the next day! Yippee!

I bought a pair of these last year, a size 26 which is one size smaller than what I usually wear. I ordered the same size this year and they are much smaller than the pair I already own. I put them up to each other, waist band to waist band, and they are much smaller. I'm going to try my regular size, but I may have to go up two sizes - we'll see. I have not gained any weight!

Great fit. I am 5 ft tall and weigh 120. I have hips, curves and a butt. I fit best in the size 27. Fit like a glove. No gap around my low back. I bought 2 more colors. Also, the softest, most comfortable cords. I want to wear them every day.

I bought these because I had another color by the same designer that I love and wear all the time. The mid rise coverage in the back is perfect. I have a straight figure, not curvy, and I love that the waist is not too tight, but no gap at top. The rest of the cord fits tight, but the stretch makes them very comfortable, and they don’t stretch out very much after washing. They run long (I’m 5’8” and I can wear heels with them). The size 30 fit a size 8+ nicely. Expensive. Yes, but I will get my money’s worth of wear out of them.

These are now my HG jeans the fit perfection and make me look sexy! These cords are so soft and I love the plaid pocket lining. They are pinwheels and so lightweight! I love them!

I love these cords! They are so comfortable, and the fit is amazing! They cling to my body in all the rights places, but are still the most comfortable pants I own! They fit true to size; I ordered a 28 (I'm 5'4", 114 lbs.), which is what I wear in AG jeans, and these are perfect throughout the waist, hips, thighs, and legs. The only problem was with the length, which I had to take up to fit my more petite frame. Otherwise, a perfect fit!

Worth every penny. I have wide hips, thin thighs and they fit well. Incredibly comfortable and well made. If your thighs are muscular you may want to try a larger than normal size or a different brand.

These are the mostly comfortable, flattering pants. I love them so much i bought them in brown and blue, too! You can't go wrong and they are good for woman who are slim or hippie (like me).

So comforable i feel like Im in my pajamas but look like and feel like a million bucks. Soft cordoroy is like velvet. They keep their shape all day too. I bought mine a size small and they fit great cuz of the stretch. im going to get them in every color!

These pants are awesome. Very slimming. They have a little stretch in them which makes them so comfortable. They feel like you are wearing your PJ's. You can dress them up or down. Love them!

This is a fabulous cord! I have these pants in several colors. It's perfect! They are extremely comfortable and flattering!

Another great product from AG. I'm a loyal wearer of the Angel jeans and I really like the cord version, too. The fabric is lightweight so you can wear them year-round, and stretchy enough that you feel (but don't look) like you're wearing sweatpants. I have a pair of these pants from 2008, and the new ones this year appear to run a size larger. I normally wear a size 27 (size 4) in the AG Angel jeans and old cords, and had to get a size 26 in this year's cords. Either way, a great pant.

These are super soft and comfy and, oh, mega flattering. I got the Hush color, and they go with everything. I don\'t know why all these reviews are suggesting that you size down. I wear a 28 in 7, J Brand, and Hudson jeans, and I wear a 28 in these, as well.

Very comfy! I got these today and they were so comfy but the 30 I ordered were a tad bigger, though I have always been a 30 in all designer jeans. Gladly, Zappos has the best exchange policy ever so I'm exchanging it for a 29. Bottom line, size down if haven't had these before.

AG Cord & Jeans - This is probably the only cord and pair of jeans I will ever buy again. The only pants I have ever been able to wear without alterations. I have a small waist, a booty and bigger legs. I got so many compliments on them. Took a chance buying online since I was so happy with what I bought in the store. I'm going to buy as many pairs as possible that are available in my size. Well worth the money. Now I want to find the velvet ones.

I love these. These are great. I am so glad I was able to get them in my size. The fit is wonderful, not too high inseam not too low. They also don't pucker between the legs at the crouch which is a pet peeve for me with so many pants. These are true to size and are like wearing my sweats in comfort!
