I had to return size 13-1 because it does not have a back strap. It runs very small. I love these sandals, but my son needs the backstrap due to disability and I am so bummed out about having to return them.

Love Olu Kai, have many pairs of my own, kids Ohana doesn't fit large like adults, it fits small so size one up. Also the back strap does not come in sizes above the toddler (10). Still the best flip flops out there and they are 100% machine washable which is a lifesaver.

My son is on his 2nd pair of these. He loved last summer's pair and is wearing them again this summer. If your child is ready to take off the toddler back strap (which mine was), it's easily removed without damaging the top strap. He actually refused other pairs for that reason -- didn't want it to show where the back strap had been. His size 11-12 last summer DID have the strap, the 13-1 this summer did NOT.

Super cute shoe! Molded instead of flat so I feel like my kid gets more support. Looks totally comfortable and the heel strap fit perfect which I was really worried about. It does run small so order up a size or half size (if they offer 1/2 sizes).

My son wore it constantly on our 2 week vacation to Jamaica. Great comfy flip flop with support and cushion for kids.

I bought these for my son two years ago and they just broke. I say this as a VERY GOOD thing ~ my son is very hard on shoes and these lasted two years. They have the strap around the back so I bought them a size big. These are the best quality shoes. My teenage daughter has them as do I and we love them until they wear out and then get another pair! Don't hesitate because you will never regret purchasing these!

Best flip flops on the planet! Our whole family wears them religiously. They have excellent arch support for anyone with high arches. Run true to size.

My son loves these flip flops. They are his go to pair now. The blue pops against the black, it is just enough color. They are perfect for little boys who love to find water and dirt to play in. They can be cleaned off with little effort and dry in no time. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought these flip flops for my son who frequently complains of foot pain. The footbed is contoured and does appear to have a moderate amount of arch support. He likes them and does not complain about his feet hurting when he wears them. They are true to width, but my son has a rather narrow foot, so I would not recommend for children with wide feet.

My son wears a 2.5 (wide) in new balance sneakers, and the size 2-3 flip flops are a snug fit. He has to really wiggle to get them on his feet, but once there are good. The size 4-5 he says are better, but are a bit long. Both sizes provide arch support where he needs it. These are definitely not orthotics, no deep heel cup or extreme support, but much better than the cheap ones with no support and he likes them (no easy feat). I will hold on to the next size up for next season.

Too small - wish I'd read the reviews and ordered a size up. Returning.

I have bought many of this sandal style for my older son. He wears his ALL the time, and the are very durable and comfortable! I wasn't sure on my younger son's size... I had recently ordered olukai Nohea for him. I ordered size 11 based on him being a 10 to 11 in Tsukohoshi. The 11 Nohea's were a bit too long, but comfortable on his wide feet. So when I ordered the Ohana, I went with the 9/10. However, they are MUCH shorter than the size 11 Noheas. They also seemed narrower. Going to exchange for an 11/12 if available. The picture unfortunately rotated when I attached it, but the brown is a floor, and both shoes are lined up and flat against each other. I have pretty big hands, so you can hopefully tell just how much smaller the 9/10 ohana is compared to the 11 Nohea. If in doubt, order up for sure.

These run a size small. After a few wears they started to rub on the top of my sons feet leaving red marks. I am not sure why as my daughter has the teal girls ones and had a pair prior with no trouble at all.

Great support in a flip flop. My son wears a 1.5 and the 2-3 was perfect. The smaller size was too small even when he fit a size 1 in other shoes. Now he wears a size 2 Asics running shoe with wiggle room and the 2-3 fit great still. I'm back to buy the next size for next summer. Only compliant is they got unglued a bit in the front on one of them.

Heal strap was extremely tight. Style is nice

I totally missed the warning that only the smaller kids' sizes have the heel strap. That was specifically why I ordered this sandal. Going to have the little guy walk around the house for a while to see if he can wear them without the strap, if not, will be sending back. Great brand, great show, just wish I had caught that advisory statement before I ordered. Writing this review as I hope it will help anyone else avoid my mistake.
