I just read a review about the spikes in the show--and was given a negative review. The spike review is kinda silly actually, they are standard in most golf shoes not just Ecco, so it really has nothing to do with the shoe. I have the same spikes on my FJ's (Foot Joys) so if its and issue, its an issue with the spike not the shoe..although body weight, height make have a bearing too. I dont tend to see marks at all, so not sure why this guy is doing contruction on greeens with his spikes. Great shoe
I'd also recommend:
Foot Joy Dry joys, ICON or Tour

After a year and a half these shoes are no longer waterproof. Ugh! Now, I play a lot of golf since we live on a par 3 course, but I expected for these to last longer than they have. I loved the waterproof feature of the shoes, but it now fails.
