I purchased these to replace a pair of Keens my three year old son had been wearing. While the Keens are durable, washable, and have excellent tread (he loves climbing slides), they were nearly impossible to get on (weird straps). We love the pediped Jake tennis shoe, and this sandal is great too. The padded heel is soft, and the sole is super flexible. They are easy to get on with the heel pull tab and generous-length single strap. These are a bit more slippery than the Keens, but he can still climb just fine. We will definitely purchase again.

These shoes are great! I bought them for my three-year-old at the beginning of the summer thinking he'd just kind of wear them when he got extra hot and he didn't want socks (he loves socks and sneakers) but because they're so comfortable he wears them everywhere and they've outlasted every other pair of shoes he's had. Also, according to him, they are the fastest shoes he owns. ;) I'm just amazed by how long they've lasted. Pediped is worth every penny.

I love this shoe, very comfortable and easy for my 3 year old to put on and take off.

This has been a wonderful shoe for my very active 2 year old son. He wears it to school most days and it remains in great shape. It keeps his feet cool while still giving him the support like a tennis shoe.

I love this sandal! I bought this pair of shoes for my 3 year old who is quick to tell me when a shoe is not comfortable and he loves them. They are very soft with a very flexible sole and they are very easy for me (and him) to get on and off. I love that there is a a little protection for the toes, they are waterproof and machine washable, and they are very secure on little feet for preschool, playground fun and all types of play. You will not be disappointed!

These are great! An active 20 mth old wears them whole day in daycare every day. These are flexible and light to wear and still protect the little feet. My son does not want to take them off when we get home and I have to hide them away if I want to put different shoes on him on weekends.

Initially these were excellent! I loved these as did my son. That being said they are very true to size so though they were used as his little foot began to grow (which happens quick at the toddler stage!) these were no longer usable. Unfortunately I got maybe 4 good uses out of them. Was sad to see they no longer fit so quickly!

Thanks to all of us that do reviews. It's amazing how we described our purchase and can buy shoes with out taking the little ones out to the store. These shoes are exactly what all the mums said, and Zappos is exactly that easy to buy and return! My grandson loves his summer shoes.

Great looking and comfortable shoe. Looks sturdy so far. Will have to wait and update review with how it holds up for an active 5-1/2 year old.

Despite being an big fan of Zappos this is my first review. I had to write how wonderful these shoes are! We have tried about 5 pairs of sandals on my 21 month old and all have caused blisters but the Pedipeds. This is our second pair for him and it won't be our last. They keep his feet cool and comfortable and dry quickly. We've only had them a week but they seem like they will hold up to his antics.

I bought these for my 3 yr old son and I have to say that I love them. They are very flexible and seem comfortable. He has already gotten them completely wet many times and I have noticed that they dry pretty quick. The only negative thing I have to say about the sandal is that it is not very durable. After a few uses, the outer part of the insole peeled off but it didn't affect the wear of the shoe at all.

Great shoes! Really happy with it. These shoes are very light and flexible, perfect for toddler.

Absolutley love this sandle. They can go from sand, mud, water and stay on. My 2 yr. old can run and play and the rubber bottom is great for slippery rocks in the Creek for our tadpole collection. I have tried several sandles this summer and these are truely the best i should have never doubted Pediped I have others and they all are great I will continue to purchase this brand. Thank you Zappos for the super fst delivery and your wonderful return policy because having a toddler you never know what kind of shoes are going to be good ones.

I bought these sandels for my 2-year-old this summer. They are soft and flexible, and fit him well. He doesn't fight me to put them on, so I assume they're comfortable! I like the closed toe so he can still play as rough as he usually does. I'm sure they will be worn out by the end of the summer.

Pediped is without a doubt, my favorite brand of children's shoes! These are very comfortable and cool for summer. Perfect beach and water park shoes! Machine washable make these irresistible to moms like me!

Great summer shoes. My 20 month old son was able to start wearing them immediately without socks and had no rubbing, redness or complaints. Haven't washed them yet, but am glad to be able to when needed.

I was looking for a durable pair of sandals for my toddler to wear out on the playground at daycare. He previously wore a pair of Pediped soft soled shoes and they fit really well, so we went with these sandals. Great! Very high quality, well made, nicely designed, and they seem to be comfortable for him. His feet got a little sweaty after several hours, but it's hot and humid here so that's not a big surprise. I think these are great shoes for the playground!

Lovely and comfortable shoes for my little boy. I wish they come in bigger sizes I would have gotten some for my older boy. Had to send the first pair back due to the size being too small, but second round worked out great.

Love this shoe. Right out of the box, my 20 month old wore them for 5 hours playing at the park, in the yard and going for a walk. They didn't bother his feet at all and he never tripped, like he does in some shoes. Wish I could afford to buy a few pair!

Love this sandal for our busy 17 month old! Sizing was comparable to other brands we've bought him. It was hard to find a sandal w/ closed toe that can get wet and be comfortable for a trip to Disney World. Looks cute, too.

This shoe is great. It is a good-quality shoe and lives up to the Pediped standard. It supports the feet well and being closed at the heel/toe end provides some additional security when the little ones explore their world at the playground etc. My son likes wearing them and I would buy them again.

I read all the reviews and had my doubts until I received them and they where better then the reviews if that is possible. They are so flexible that my grandson will not take them off and says he can run and climb faster with these shoes. Thank God you can just wipe them off but I can already see we need a second pair for maybe dress up or church. They are wonderful shoes.

Best sandals ever! They can get wet, are easy to get on and off and great for new walkers. I put these on my son all the time!

These are going back. The insole is made our of rubber, I can't imagine these shoes not hurting my toddler's feet in a hot weather. That's besides the fact that the sole is very stinky (smell transferred to my son's feet from just trying them on). This is the first time I tried Pediped shoes, will go back to Stride Rite, better quality.

Very cute shoes. He walks well in these. Love that they are so ventilated so his feet aren't sweaty and I can tell if he's scrunching his feet (I can put my fingers in the side holes to push his toes down and tell where his toes fit in the shoe). These are his first shoes so not sure how accurate sizing is. I measured his foot with a tape measure and ordered based off the recommendation but ended up exchanging for half size lower (love the return/exchange policy!!)
