I took a gamble, having never bought this kind of boot or style, and really wanted something versatile. I’m so happy I did! I loved them the minute I put them on. They are beautiful boots, well made, just warn-looking enough and comfortable. I would say the actual dusted brown color is darker than the picture, but I am still happy and this probably won’t be my last pair of Ariat boots!

These boots are very comfy - though not much support for my high arches. Looking forward to a full break-in. I love the look of these too!

Love the not frou-frou style. Lower heal. Minimal decoration. My Wyoming-bred boyfriend completely approved! I plan to wear them with simple summer dresses. So cute!. I usually wear a size 7; the 6.5 was a better fit with light socks. Only pause was that the right boot was stretched from try on by others. Zappos provides a nice solution.

I love the way this boot fits, the only thing I would change is for this boot to have a smaller circumference in the shaft. I like wear my boots under my jeans and the shaft is too wide for it to look good under the jeans.

This is the boot! I have 6-8 pairs of Fryes, but these are my new "go to" boot. First day out of the box I wore them 8 hours and my feet feel great at the end of the day. I was able to easily remove the Ariat insole and slip my power step insert in. The boot color has no depth or character, but I will add that to them over time. Sorry Frye- your inconsistent sizing and downright uncomfortable boot along with the sheer pricing has me converting to Ariat.

As others have said, very comfortable boot. I love the single layer leather upper. Very flexible and comfortable against legs. I would agree, however, that they are narrow in the foot and pretty tight across the instep (reason for the 3 stars). Not sure they are going to stretch out, but I'm risking it because they are such nice boots.

Size was good but I have a high arch and could not easily pull these off and on even tho the opening is pretty generous. Ordered a pair of cat work boot which have a more forgiving opening. Sadly these will be going back

I bought and returned many of these boots hoping to find one to fit my foot but was not successful. I am normally a 7 1/2. The seven was too big and the 6 1/2 too small. I was disappointed until I found the Ariat Heritage Roper. The 6 1/2 in that style fit like a glove! Thanks Zappos!

Seem like they would be comfortable IF I could get them on my feet. My foot is on the fringe of regular to wide. Most times I actually wear regular width shoes but I could not even get my foot into this boot. For the ball of my foot that reached the bottom they seemed to be well padded and like they would be comfortable if I could get my foot all the way in. Definitely on the narrower side.

I thought these boots were really cute. BUT they were not a true size 8. The foot was too long. I was also disappointed with the leather upper. Very thin and floppy. I am so much regretting not keeping my Dingos made in the USA in the mid 70's and early 80's. With proper soles - stacked leather and thicker leather for the boot shaft.

They look used...arrived with tons of marks and deep scratches in the leather. Runs a bit narrow, but support feels comfortable. Sending them back for another pair, hopefully in better shape
